• All the addon icons are missing in the window customize

  I use FF 3.6.18 on XP, Vista and Win7. Given that FF itself upgrade 3.6.18, Miss all kinds of icons of the addon. Needless to say most of the addons cannot work unless that icon there to click. When I went to the [toolbar Customize] window to drag the icons réécrirait tool/menu/status bars, I find that ALL my icons missing addon. Since the problem is on all of my PCs in various operating systems and upgraded to FF4 seems to make things worse, it looks like a bug in FF. Most of my friends who use Firefox have the same problem. It is a bug, or is it repairable? Does anyone know how to solve this?

  After, with great difficulty, eliminating the motor leads from my system, I tried half a dozen other things, but ultimately never gave up is fixed without wiping my hard drive clean. However, the latest update of Firefox (3.6.24) solved the problem! on all my computers! Don't know what you people at Mozilla has done, but thank you, thank you, thank you. No idea what caused the problem, or what fixed it, but it's a happy camper now.

  I don't know if this is the problem, but if the unit is in automatic mode, taking the _out_ of the camera in this mode (for example using mode annual "M" is a good setting) on the mode dial.

  The menus are pretty short if you are in fully automatic mode, so it can be that your choice of menu is hidden.

  The issue may have been caused due to conflict of third party software. I suggest you to restart the computer in safe mode and perform the clean boot to avoid conflicts.

  Put your system to the clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. You must follow the steps in the article mentioned below to perform a clean boot.

  Note: see 'How do I reset the computer to start normally after a boot minimum troubleshooting' to reset the computer starts normally after troubleshooting.

  Also, try to rebuild your icon cache and check.

  (1) close all programs
  2) click Start, and then type CMD (without the quoatation marks) in the search programs and files engine
  (3) then right click on the CMD program that appears in the list, and then select: run as administrator
  4) access: C:\Users\\AppData\Local
  (at the prompt enter: CD /d %userprofile%\AppData\Local now, press the "Enter" key)
  (5) now delete the IconCache.db file as follows: DEL IconCache.db /ah and press the enter"" key.
  (6) close the command window.
  7-restart the computer.

  Important: Microsoft recommends the use of security that one software alone both. With the help of many will create conflicts between them.

  I opened this morning Lightroom to find all my latest files are missing. I put all my images on a disc external hard when can I import into lightroom and they normally appear. Currently, there is nothing else than to 2 years showing images (which aren't really there because they have been deleted, so I'm the? symbol) I have been in file > opened recently and I don't have an option to choose and it does nothing. How to bring back all my recent files?

  You can check the version of LR on the Help menu (System Info). Check that the version corresponds to what you think you have. However, as you use the same icon as always, it is probably not this problem but it is possible that your shortcut has changed by the operating system. Your external drive disconnected by accident? If it is mounted in the same location - i.e. the same volume name (Mac) or the letter drive (windows).

  1 a simple way:
  . Right click on desktop > view > uncheck Auto arrange > check snap to grid.

  2. in a more elaborate way and actually a better way. I use this method I have over 150 shortcuts etc on my desk. I can't afford to have shortcuts/icons, rearranging themselves. I won't be able to find anything, if they do.

  The simple solution is:

  1. type the word restore in your Start menu.  Some options will appear.  Choose to restore the system and settings files
  2 - Click Next, choose July 14 (or a date before the problem occurred), and then click Next again.  Your system will restart with repaired parameters.
