All of a sudden I can't connect to my firefox (get to the Google 404 error message); I tried to reinstall firefox, and it's the same thing; So how reinstall firefox?

As you can see, this problem is changing. Now, I can download Firefox (thanks to Amistree - sorry, I know the spelling is wrong) but once I close Firefox, I can't re - open. I get this error message 404 Google even. So I need to keep download Firefox. I will say that, once downloaded, I have all my tabs, post still in place. It's so weird!

Thanks for any help anyone can suggest.

Thank you, but it turns out that the problem was with my DSL internet connection. I have not tried your suggestion and, therefore, can not tell if it was useful. I will say, with gratitude, that what you wrote made sense and I could have followed the steps had I had to.

      Gracias
