All of a sudden, there is an icon on my desktop which has arisen which requires to start a conversation.

Unexpectedly, there is a new icon which appeared on my control panel. When I place my cursor on it, she said "start a conversation". What is this, and how do I get rid of him?

This is the Hello button to start a conversation via WebRTC (Real Time Communications).

You can click this button and use "Remove from toolbar" to move the button on the palette to customize.

    Sorry if you think that the complaints of not being able to see your question are dumb. But it is very difficult, and after complaining over a year my frustration is very high.

    Regarding the removal of the entry in your address book for hugs and Cookies, is nothing of the sort. Thunderbird use your display name in address book preferences to fill the list.

    Of the last 100 people who came here to complain that the mail of a person was in fact someone else. Their book of addresses for this person was the cause in probably 99 of them.

    In the start menu select programs, and then select HP and devote the HP Laserjet M1210 folder. Click Scan to scan to your computer.

    Copy of a document is possible to the device itself using the copy button, not for the HP Laserjet software in your PC.

    Often this message really means that the files could not be written, and in this case, it means that you encounter permissions issues with the files you want LR to move/copy the images.

    What happens when you click Add in the import dialog? This is the option that requires the authorization of lightroom the images imported into the folder they are in. Try it with a couple of files as an experiment.

    My BB is a little more than 1 year and worked perfectly. All of a sudden there's a week my email and messenger has stopped working. I am connected to my wifi at home and use data of O2 in the case plan.

    I did a battery without effect pull.

    I rang O2 helplne twice and they talked me through various operations, but could not solve the problem. Finally, they said that as it was purchased in London (it was a gift, but I have received), I needed to return to the store as it was a problem of BB. Not so easy that I live in the western part of the Ireland.

    If I go to the e-mail settings , it says "your device had a problem connecting to the server.

    In Status of the Service - it is said BB Internet Service connection: not connected

    Connection to the BB Enterprise Server: not connected

    Text messaging works very well. Browser works well too and of course I can access my email from here but it is the major concern.

    I do no sound from my laptop. Everything worked fine for about 8 months, but the other day, all of a sudden there is no noise at all. Verified that this is not on mute (derr) and that the pilots were all to date - all seems fine. Just nothing coming out.

    Try to remove the soundcard from the Device Manager, and then restart the device.
    After restarting again the sound card will be installed again

    One question; Did you check if the sound appears in the headphones?

  • Windows 7 - How can I get rid of an "All Control Panel items" icon on the desktop?

    Only, I've migrated to Vista Ultimate x 64 to Windows 7 Professional x 64.  I used Laplink to move all my users, programs, and settings.  Everything is great, except now there is an icon on the desktop for all my users that I can't get rid of - it connects to the control panel and is called "All Control Panel items" - it cannot be deleted or moved to the Recycle Bin. Make a right click on it brings up a menu with 'open' and 'create a shortcut' by dragging it to the trash does not delete it.

    If I am right cick on the desktop and add Control Panel to the items displayed on the desktop, a second control Panel icon appears with the same picture, but the text is just 'control panel '.

    I don't know there is a registry key that I have to remove or adjust but after a lot of research can't find anything.

    Open the Publisher of the registry (Regedit.exe) and navigate to:

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace]

    Backup the key by exporting to a REG file.

    Expand the branch above and delete the following subkey:

    {21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}
    (The above is the GUID for "All Control Panel items" Namespace)

    Similarly, to remove the entry here (if found)

    my fathers partners last week computer has been infected by adware, which was easy enough to remove safely. But last night he told me his return (he thinks ebay.co.uk is at fault?).     You should be able to simply click on start > click and hold the left mouse button and drag the icon on your desktop. If it does not, click Start > run > paste C:\Program may Explorer > click ok. Locate the IE icon > right click and choose "send to" > Desktop.

    Right-click on an empty area of the taskbar, point to toolbars, and then click quick launch.
