    Hello

Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

(If you use it, switch to the default theme).

    • You can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • Or open the Help menu and click on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item while Firefox is running.

Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. To do this, please follow article Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems .

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

Also, try to bypass the cache

Reload the Web page while bypassing the cache using one of the following steps:

    • Hold down the SHIFT key and click the reload with a left click button.

    OR

    • Press Ctrl + F5 or Ctrl + SHIFT + R (Windows and Linux)
    • Press command + SHIFT + R (Mac)

If it does not help disable HWA used in firefox.

You will have to perhaps restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

    Then perform the following steps:

    • Click on the orange top left Firefox button, then select the 'Options' button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to tools > Options.
    • In the Firefox options window, click the Advanced tab, and then select 'General '.
    • You will find in the list of parameters, the checkbox use hardware acceleration when available . Clear this check box.
    • Now restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

The site has been update32.escmce.ce.ms I googled this site and it does not exist. Now, I'm worried about security on my computer.

Sounds very similar to what I had come last week. I did not now what the site was, but I noticed that the box seems to be analysis what were the Windows system files, it could not have been real. I do not download anything either, and I think that if you have not then you are probably safe. I am far from being an expert in the field and am sure that someone with more expertise will also. I learned that the best thing to do is vacuum history of cache, cookies and remove and close the browser. Don't try not even close the box that I have read. I don't know if I did or not. I think that there is some nasty things circulating right now try to deceive us in their installation on our Macs. I agree that it's a very scary experience. • Firefox crashes when loading websites, freezes when I try to download any file and completely freezes when I try to access the Options menu. Help!

As he says, I had a difficult time with Firefox lately, and I think that it's corrupted. I tweaked the settings according to the suggestions on this forum and others like him, but they made the problem worse. I've updated to the latest version of the browser that has not helped, and I finally tried the "Reset Firefox" button, which was worse than anything. I lost my custom settings and Add-ons for nothing, the problem persists.

More frustrating is that it completely crashes whenever I click on tools > Options, so I'm not able to make changes to this new configuration. If I export my favorites safely, I will try to uninstall the browser and re - install an older version of it, but of course it now freezes when I try to export the bookmarks file.

Thus, apart from trashing it and starting over... any suggestions?

For the record, it's Firefox 28.0 (do not know what version it was the beginning of the sentence), and the window "On Firefox" said that it is up-to-date. I am running Windows XP.

Thanks for any help or enlightenment, you might be able to provide.

    Hello

Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:

Note: You can print these steps or consult them in another browser.

    1. Download the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org office and save the installer to your computer.
    2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click on quit in the file menu or Firefox).
    3. Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
      • Windows:

        • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
        • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
      • Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.
      • Linux: If you have installed Firefox with the distribution-based package manager, you must use the same way to uninstall: see Install Firefox on Linux. If you have downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
    4. Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
      1. Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
      2. Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.

More information on the resettlement of Firefox can be found here.

WARNING: Uninstaller or the use of Firefox and not run a third remover as part of this process, because who could permanently delete your Firefox data, including but not limited to, extensions, cache, cookies, bookmarks, personal settings and passwords saved. These can be recovered, unless they have been backed up on an external device!

Please report back to see if this helped you!

    Thank you.

  • I can not display all images on the site when I use Firefox

When I go to sites like Facebook, eBay and Netflix, none of the photos that make up the Web site usually can be seen. When I use other browsers such as Chrome or Opera, I don't no problem.

I tried to delete cookies and caches, as well as disabling hardware acceleration. I also tried to start Firefox in safe mode and changing the permissons on websites to view the images. As none of them make a difference, I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled but there is no change.

This is due to the fact that Opera and Chrome uses a different technology and loads of parts (top-down) and mozila first loading site, and then the text from the image

  • When I use Firefox, I can't stay connected to Comcast or by e-mail.

I prefer to use Firefox as my browser. For the last two weeks, I was not able to stay connected to Comcast and e-mail. I connect when I start the computer. I am able to stay connected with IE, but I prefer to stay with Firefox as my favorites and contacts are stored here. I had Comcast technicians working on this problem without success. I deleted Firefox and reinstalled. I erased my historical cache and connected with Keep me signed to checked. Nothing seems to work.

Firefox Safe mode disables extensions, so you could look at those and see which you can disable or remove for regular use. Open the page modules using either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Then see what you can stop.
Given that the extension of McAfee seems to be one that is the most likely parts of filter or block sites, you could try to simply disable that one and see if that makes a difference.

(You may need to do in 'normal' mode if you cannot use the button disable mode without failure).

Safe mode change also a few other things, but extensions are the most critical.
