Allignment cartridge failed after loading new ink

I have an Officejet J6480 printer all-in-one.  I loaded a new today black ink cartridge and the Avenue failed.  I followed all the instructions several times, tried cleaning the cartridges, but it still does not work.  I tried to print the document I did just before the addition of the ink and it prints all other lines.  Is this a bad cartridge?  I checked the expiration date and it is good until March 2010, so that shouldn't be the problem.  Is there anything else I can do?

I kept watching this forum for an answer and noticed a point where the user has indicated that a failure of several attempts to clean and align the heads 'magic' worked.  I had not used the printer for a week and decided to give it a try.  It worked.  The printer is fine, after resting for a week and then try cleaning followed to line up.  It would be always interesting to understand why.  I'm glad that I didn't miss to buy more cartridges and throw it.

    I've corrected the printer IP addy... and viola.

    IPad and laptop computer are once more compatible with the printer.

  • Printer does not print after installing new ink cartridges

    I have a Lexmark X 2500 printer. After installing new print cartridges, the printer gives me the error message to order more ink. The printer does not recognize the new ink cartridges that have been installed.  There is a warning on the ink cartridges to do not touch the contacts on the bottom of the cartridges. If this happens, how can I make them work?

  • Cannot access the printer software after installing new ink cartridge

    I installed new ink cartridges. It prints well but I can't access the printer on the computer action tab. I can't check ink levels, align the pages or check on maintenance. When I click on the folder of the printer it opens but it says it's searching for items. The printer of action file is not there. Anyone know what could cause this? I can't open the Toolbox of the product. What I have to reinstall the printer software, or is there something else I can do to fix this. I have windows 7 and a 3000 deskjet printer. Thank you.

    The question most likley do not have much to do with the replacement of the ink cartridge.

    Lately, HP has released a new software, due to the latest MS updates, you must update the software to get all the features.

    Go to start > programs > HP > select your printer folder and follow uninstall them.

    Now, download and install the new version of the software from here:

    Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see that you are facing some print quality problems on your HP Deskjet 3520, you cannot print in black ink, you tried an alignment without success.

    I would like to continue you here: printer does not print black ink or color of ink or prints blank Pages, I understand, you may have made some of these steps already but I need you to complete all the steps in order to solve the problem of the missing black, you encounter.

    Please note: there are three stages of print head cleaning. Three steps if necessary. If the print head is badly clogged, it may require another round of cleaning. If so, wait 30 minutes after the last step of cleaning (third) to start the first stage of the cleanup process.

    If you are unable to print in black ink, I think that the issue may be the printer and not the cartridge.   • Printer does not print in color after installing new ink cartridge

    I have a HP Photosmart C7280 all-in-one printer.   Windows 7 is my OS.  I have made no other changes to my computer before this problem.

    My problem:

    I installed a genuine HP brand new yellow ink cartridge in my computer because my other cartridge was empty.  After that I installed a new cartridge, my printer normally goes through an initialization process.  This time he did that.  Now when I try to print anything in color, I get a window that says "ink empty Casrtridges.   To print in color, install the following cartridges: yellow "then turns and she says in that it can only print in black."

    I did a Test print.  I ran "clean cartridges".  I did a 'print align.   All these prints in color, including the yellow.  I also did a color copy and printed the color yellow.   Ink level shows the yellow as a FULL cartridge.

    I have tried with 3 new genuine HP yellow ink cartridges and it still doesn't let me do a color print.  I have rebooted my system, unplugged the printer several times and it still will not print color.

    What else could be my problem?  What else can I try?

    It seems that the error got stuck in the printer driver. Try to uninstall and reinstall the printer software. That should clear up the problem. I'll link the latest software and drivers below. Let me know what happens.

    I connected my Deskjet 1000 j110 printer via the USB port on my desktop PC Windows 8.1 brand new. Print an e-mail without problems using basic default Microsoft driver. Then I tried to print a PDF from the Reader app, and it failed. I loaded the drivers of HP recent na dnow printer doesn't work at all on theis system! Diagnosis HP say everythings is fine, but in test mode (or all other prints) appear in the print queue that the 'printing' and then eventually fails in about a minute with the useless error message: -.

    Looked in the queue of the printer from the control panel command displays the document in the queue with a status of "error - printing".

  • Updates failed after the new HD install

    I live in South Africa and use a MacBook Pro bought in the USA by the end of 2014. When I had to replace the HD in December 2015 the company is certified local Apple had to order the HD of the USA. After installing it, they restored my software and data files and mails in Mail.

    Since the replacement of HD that I was not able to install updates because after that I give permission to update, I get a notice that no update is available under "this Apple ID" or something to that effect. After 8 months of updates failed my HD is slow again with my computer freezing temporarily and the color wheel - wait please turn from time to time. What should I do to allow updates succeed?

    It seems that an another Apple ID that yours has been used when the HD has been replaced.

    I have a Satellite M100 (bought mid-2006), 512 MB RAM, 60 GB HDD, Intel CPU T2050.

    I decided to have a cleaning and use the restore disc to return the laptop to factory settings, and then reinstall only what I really wanted.
    I had this done yesterday, I had forgotten something, then he ran again about 4 hours later.
    The first time that the restore worked, now it reboots once the progress bar reaches full when he says "Loading RAMDISK Image".
    After the progress bar reaches full, the mouse pointer appears for a few seconds then restart the computer.

    Nothing has changed with the hardware or BIOS, and what is on the HD should not have any effect because I am booting from the DVD.
    Can someone please help? I am at a loss to explain what happened in this interval of 4 hours.

    I agree with Akuma.
    Sometimes I can read here on this problem and I know you should only remove the partition on the HARD disk. Therefore, you can also use a Windows XP CD from Microsoft or the FDISK utility.

    After you delete all the partition, you should be able to run the recovery disk.

    HP all-in-one will print not in Windows 8. New CPU HP P2-1310. I get "some driver files are missing or incorrect.

    Reinstall the driver or try to install a newer version. "I tried more recent on your site - OJ_AIO_J4500_Full_Win

    Tell him Yes and continue.  You want to get rid of everything that has to do with the printer, so make sure you tell him Yes on something like this.

    Hi, I am the owner of this very good printer for 10 years now.  Used only a single all these years ink cartridge (I use it only for work related missionery) with not a single problem.  When we bought it we also bought a replacement ink cartridge.  However, when I put in place the new ink cartridge, I have a problem of printing documents.  Each document gives me the same results.  I took it to the store of the local computer, which shook the cartrdige vigorously and I also ran the service option in the HP printer Toolbox. The guy at the computer said I need to print a lot of papers and see what is happening... what I did.  But the result in each impression remains exactly the same. The annex in the printed document.  Can we still do this ink cartridge work after having been stored for 10 years?  Thank you for reading my message.

    You have a bad toner cartridge.  Given that this printer is very old, there is a lot new in the old box of cartridges of toner there stock.  Over time, the wiper blade will hurt comes from there.  Think that buy you a new toner from a big box store which should have new actions and you will come back if the cartridge is bad.

    After loading a new cartridge (genuine) 338, everything I print has the top of the first line is missing. I rebooted the old cartridge and it prints the line correctly (even slightly). I'm sorry that I was not to give complete information about the printer, as this has been my first post - I'll do better next time. The issue has resolved itself today! After several attempts to print and reload the cartridge, I dropped, but unexpectedly, the printer has pulled up and began to do a second test of its own alignment, and that solved the problem.
