Allow end users to change the font, color and their text size in a form to fill out?

I have created a few blank invitations and want my end users to be able to type in their personal information.  I know that I can specify a font for them, but is it possible that they could change the name of the font, size and color in Acrobat Reader?  I wish they have this option and thought that he was allowed in earlier versions of the player, but I cannot understand.  Thank you!

(Edited to add that I create the form in the full version of Acrobat XI on a Mac, but trying to fill and change it in the CD player.)

Yes, it is possible. Under the text field properties, go to the Options tab and check the box 'allow Rich Text Formatting'.

The user will then be able to specify different options in formatting drive, using the properties bar.

    I'm building an application form and asked if there was a way to change the font color in a text field. (EXAMPLE: content Original is black.) The notes are in red)

    I have 2 ideas on that, we should type out and highlight, and then click a button to turn red. The other way. I'm more part. Have a radial affecting when turned off, black types. When on, red types. What is the best way to do it or is it still possible?

    Figured it out. Replace 'plain text' 'rich text' and have user support on ctr + e. seems strange to me, but it works.

  • This allows end users to customize the color of police/size/etc.

    I am VERY new Live Cycle and I hope I post this question in the right place.  I created a few PDF where users can download maps and projects and the custmize what they would like the text to say.  I know that there is a way to also allow end users, through the Properties menu in Adobe Reader, to customize/change the font, color and size.  Should what parameters/script I use to achieve this?  Thanks in advance for any help!

    I think you are referring to a rich text field. This type of control allows the user to enter information, but also to indicate the police, style, color, etc... for their contribution. This is only possible if the designer of the form is used, otherwise they are only able to enter information in the font, style etc that the designer chooses. The user should hit Ctrl-E to bring up the menu of rich text, then they ghave tools to affect the text.

  • Cannot change the font color on the desktop icons

    I am running windows vista. I can't change the font as in windows xp. No matter if the background is dark or the police is always black... Help!

    Hello

    Thanks for posting the question in Microsoft Answers.

    I apologise for the inconvenience.

    Unfortunately, you cannot change the font color of desktop.

    Because desktop wallpaper images have different colors, it is easy for the colors of unreadable fonts if they are on top of the same color in a background image to display. For example, a black font on top a dark part of the background image or a white font on a white part of a background image.

    The desktop icon fonts are dynamic and show white on dark background and change in white with a shadow effect black on a light background.

    In previous versions of Windows, it did not matter what color you chose to fund policies, some would still make invisible because of the background color of a desktop wallpaper. The user was constantly moving icons around the desktop computer to another colorful area where the police could be read. This was the source of a large number of complaints from users asking for a policy that was still visible, regardless of the color that was behind the police.

    However, you can change the theme and see if that helps:

  • How to change the font color under block Action workflow history?

    Hi all

    How can we change the font color to Blue(see attachment) to the Red under history of Oracle Workflow Action block.

    In my scenario, the user has launched good order to the approver. He goes to the first approver. First approver enters his observations and approvers it. PO goes to the second approver for approval. now when the second approver opens the notification, it should be able to see the comments made by the first approver in red instead of blue.

    In short every time that comments are those should visible in red once stored.

    SR.png

    Try to set the CSS class.

    I do not remember exactly where this region is generated. Check the Message in the workflow and see how this region is rendered.

    If it's HTML, you must define tags, if there is an OA region, you must customize the OA region and add a CSS class on the ground.

    See you soon

    from "ORDERS"

    I can get this working by selecting the Standard report column in the type of the column header . However this to say that I can't use the LOV LOV options involve removing the HTML characters.

    Is there a way I can conditionally change the font with the above query and use LOV as well? Thank you.

    I'm sure that not looking the application form first before posting this question.

    Your solution would be:
    Please edit your report column under > report attributes > and select the property view as as a Standard report column

  • How can I change the font color on the title of file name list in a folder?

    When you do a "file save as"..., type a document name... Can have the police on this document at a red name round (or other color) fonts for the list of files in the folder.  I want to be able to open the folder and have a file name "stand out" in other securities of black font in grip my eyes with red font?

    Vista does not have this capability.  There may be some 3rd party programs that might work for you, but I could find no one who were free and no coming to add this feature to Windows Explorer.

    Here "a s business option: http://www.xyplorer.com/index.htm but it's a pretty radical change (it is just to add the ability to change the fonts, colors file, and includes many other options, but it is not Windows
    Explorer - this is a totally different file manager) and it costs money so I do not recommend because I think that it is better to use a totally different program Windows Explorer, even if it means not to change the font color of file names.  And if you check, it's a bit expensive just to get this functionality (and who knows the other features of Windows Explorer that you like that you may lose with this alternative - don't really know us much and that it works well with Vidta or causes problems - maybe even serious problems as far as we know - because I know anyone who has ever tried it).

    Sorry if this isn't what you wanted to hear, but it's like that. I think the right answer is that Vista is not supported this feature, and then remove it.

    Good luck!

    How can I change the color of the font of the taskbar? The white letters for minimized windows are impossible to read.

    Hello cheesechief,

    Thank you for visiting the Microsoft answers community.

    As SharonMary has previously said, there is not a configuration option to change the font color in the taskbar. Although there are many third-party applications that can help you accomplish what you're after, simply start looking for them.

    Hope this helps

  • How to change the font color

    as in the subject...

    I have a class that extends the VerticalFieldManager and paint method:

    public void paint (Graphics _g) {}

    Super.paint (_g);

    _g.setColor (Color.Black);

    _g.fillRect (0, 0, getWidth(), getHeight());

    _g.setColor (Color.Red);

    _g.drawRect (0, 0, getWidth(), getHeight());

    }

    So what I have is a black rectangle with red edges.

    later in another part of the program, I make an object of this class and I want to add a TextField to write to him. the problem is, the font color is black and is also the background of my rectangle. I want to change the font color in the TextField in white, but I have problems. I tried to crush paint method as follows:

    _Tf TextField = new TextField() {}

    Public Sub paint (Graphics _g)

    Super.Paint (_g);

    _g.setColor (Color.White);

    }

    but it won't help.

    Anyone know how to solve?

    concerning

    Make the call to setColor before calling super.paint (...).  Although you might need to save/restore the current color

    {} public void paint (Graphics g)

    oldColor int = g.getColor ();

    g.setColor (Color.WHITE);

    Super.Paint (g);

    g.setColor (oldColor);

    }

    The color setting is perhaps an exaggeration, but you can play with it.  I remember in the past where I had put the red label text, then a bunch of controls designed after it was all red.
