allowed senders

My ePrint allowed list of senders has stopped working.  I get a the following error message:

Discarded

Sender of the message is not an authorized sender

... even if the email addresses I've tried are on the list of senders.  If I change the senders allowed to "everyone", ePrint works very well.  However, if I keep sending to a list specified e-mail addresses, none of them work.  What's interesting is my senders all worked before the customization of my address @hpeprint.com.  Has anyone experience this problem?

Hi again

How about you try the following steps

1. turn off Wifi then on again

2. power cycle your printer

3. Remove and then reactivate web services (this will result in your printer, get a new email address)

I also found a post similar to your query. Check out thispost from the foru

This should work but let me know how it goes

  • How can I create a list of allowed senders

    wendydunn

    Hey wendydunn!

I assume you mean of ePrint. If I'm not mistaken, so you first need to do is make sure that you have registered with eprintcenter.com. Once you have registered (or signed in if you have been already registered), you must select the button on the side left that says 'ePrint Settings. " From there, select allowed senders in the tabs at the top, then click on admitted only shippers. Then you simply enter an email address, you want to be able to send to your printer!

  • Difficulties to remove connected HP allowed senders

    Hi guys,.

I have some difficulty to remove an email from my list of "senders". In the page settings HP connected (HP connected > devices > settings (under the appropriate product) > manage senders), I get the message 'Unable to delete the e-mail address of the list' when clicking to remove the second of the three addresses shown in the picture below.

Someone saw something like that? Any ideas on how to fix it? I tried to do the second address of the owner, and then move it back to see if it would shake anything loose, but no luck.

    Thanks for your time.

Sorry, I thought than that outside, but forgot this post right here...

    1. click on this link: https://www.hpconnected.com/us/en/#printingSetting/ (accessible via the connected HP homepage > parameters [click here for the drop-down list] > Printing)-j' thought it was completely intuitive BTW.

    2. Select "allow email addresses."

    3. Select "Delete" to the appropriate address.

You may need to return to the page of device to remove the address there too.

    I hope this helps.

  • Problems with the registration of Contacts to the allowed senders list.

Lately, I've seen on this forum where people are struggling to save the contacts to their list of senders allowed to ePrint Center. The problem has been described as one edits the list or it creates for the first time, adds their contact email address, and then it disappears and none of the contacts have been saved.

Here is the workaround I would use adding and registering on the list of senders allowed in ePrint Center. I had people report success using this method. I hope it helps.

    1. connect to ePrint Center

    2. click on the senders list and add the user as usual.

    3. click on the Save icon after adding the address - do not sign of ePrint Center.

    4. then send an email to the printer from this sender you just added.

    5. once the e-mail has been received by the printer disconnect and then come back in ePrint center and check the list of senders.

I hope this helps the community!

  • Spam blocking: setting up a list of "allowed" senders of e-mail with Windows Live Mail?

I have on the execution of ideas to put in place of the blocked domains and keywords blocked with Windows Live Mail.  These work well, but the spammers are constantly thinking up new things that I've not yet blocked.  So, I would like to put up a 'allowed' list of email addresses that I want to go to my box and everything else go to the junk e-mail folder.  I have several thousand "authorized" addresses, in a worksheet.  Someone knows a way to do this?

One thing is certain, it's actually pretty easy.

    1. Click on the arrow under "Junk" in the toolbar, and then click Security Options:

    2. Use the 'Safe list' option only

    3. Add the people that you trust to the allow list in the top tab.

Tip: you can automatically add your address book, so that anyone in your contacts is automatically secure without having to add them manually.  You can also automatically add anyone you send outgoing messages, so that their response is considered safe when they respond back.

  • Eprint of site using Internet (print-php smtp code)

    Hello

I'm a web developer and you have a website that is trying to send messages electronic smtp for a printer HP eprint for one of my clients.  The website basically built an HTML based email and sends via eprint to address of the customer.  I use a 3rd party SMTP (jangosmtp) service and confirmed that email is out of the service in the eprint address.  I never received a message from "eprint job received" and the print job does not print on the printer.  Emails are sent with one of"address" to [email protected]

I tested the customer eprint e-mail address by sending an e-mail from the sample in my email (MS Outlook) and I get the email "eprint job has received" and it prints successfully.

I don't have access to the account of the customer HPConnect, but I'm trying to order him to see if he can look at the settings for me or maybe see a history of emails that have been sent to the printer to see if it indicates a problem.

Three questions for this forum: A) can you tell me if printing a Web page in this way is supported) B is there any direction I can give to the customer once he arrives on his hpconnect account to search for this, and C) is it possible to your printing service is seeing this as spam?  no way of knowing?

    Thanks in advance,

    Jason

    Hello

Thanks for the reply.  I ended up finding this works by changing my 3rd party SMTP server and Google (Gmail) SMTP servers through (I had read somewhere that gmail is a messaging service supported the eprint service).

To answer your questions about the configuration of the old before going through Google:

    1. Yes, I get the email on the site to my email address.

    2. I don't have a printer HP (does my customer only) - but I have an Epson WF3540 and it printed fine when using their e-mail to the print service.

    3. the client printer was ready to open to everyone.  I also go to only allowed senders and the address to the address [email protected] nothing helped, so I spent it to allow all the.

    4. Unfortunately, the collection shows no email for print jobs.  Even with this work through Gmail now the collections screen shows not all print jobs.

Thanks again for the response.  Using the smtp servers of google seems to work very well, so I consider this resolved.

  • The State of the work of the not sent emails

    Hello

I'm hoping to find some help here after research by the forum and google does not find a solution.

Since yesterday I stopped to receive "Job Status" emails when I use ePrint. The jobs print on my HP Officejet Pro 8500 has, and the list of 'Recent projects to print' the ePrintCenter is up-to-date. I made sure all about the email addresses of the authorized sender boxes are checked under "ePrint settings" (on the ePrintSenter Web page), indicating that work status emails must be sent. I tried to restart the printer - all of this without any modification.

The only thing I changed yesterday was to install the 'HP Printer Control' app on my iPhone and start using it. Interesting list of ePrint works it is empty...

I love doing these verification emails. Is it possible to fix this?

On a separate topic - is there a limit to how many e-mail addresses allowed in the list 'allowed senders' in the 'ePrint settings' section in the ePrintCenter? Is seems to save only 3 addresses.

    Thanks for any help,

    Danny

HP is currently in the process of migration to ePrintCenter connected HP, through this migration of some of their services may change or no longer exist. At the moment these status emails are not a feature of the service. This does not mean that it will not re-added in the future, but I can't do any verification of the declaration if it will or will not happen. I apologize for the inconvenience this might cause, but you should be able to always see the job status by visiting the Web site itself.

I would like to know if this is the information you are looking for and I now will get to you as soon as I can!

The trick is to control the 'senders list' - give permission instead of having to hold a zillion line list of people you want to send your printer e-spam.

  • E Print - is there a way to prevent email addresses in its list to be deleted?

    Hello

Is there a way to prevent email addresses in its list to be deleted by the printer when not in use?

The printer is a HP LaserJet 500 color M551

Email addresses remain on the list allowed for a few hours without being used, but will be removed after a few hours if they are not in the history of printing, and I get this message in the e-print settings: for convenience, we will be prepopulate e-mail addresses allowed in those who have recently sent jobs to your printer. Add new and remove those that you do not want on the list.

After this message appears all the addresses of e-mail that have not been used recently is going to get removed from the list.

Can someone explain how to fix this please

I refer to this post here and try the procedure that there are listed in an attempt to solve your problem. He helped other clients in the past who have been problems backup / make changes to their list of allowed senders. I hope this helps.

  • Disable status messages

You can disable the status messages that can be sent by e-mail when a print job is completed?

Your ePrint ePrint settings under account, you will see an option for the allowed senders.  Change the option from everyone to admitted only shippers.    Once you do this, you can add the e-mail addresses you want to allow to send a fax to the printer (the system automatically turns to fill in the field with email addresses who have already sent faxes).  You can uncheck the boxes under employment email status.  Once this is done, you should not notice received for print jobs sent from uncontrolled e-mail addresses.

    Hi JC,.

I think this video is what you are looking for.  The video uses a different printer for installation; is not important, only the initial steps are very similar.  The video shows you how to set up the connection ePrint, what to type and where to type it.

One thing to look out for:

When you choose your options, it's your 'allowed senders' list, you may want to RESTRICT the list to only yourself and maybe a few other email addresses of your choice.  This will help prevent your eprint printer to be overrun by spam.

  • Windows Mail blocks - suggestions for a fix?

    Hello
Here's the situation. I have Windows Mail running on a desktop with Windows 7 as my operating system.  When my old computer crashed, I asked the technician to put Windows Mail instead of Windows Live mail on my new computer.

Everything was fine until 2 days ago. Now, Windows Mail blocks whenever I'm doing one of the following things:

-a click or even overview and email from different people sending a particular server
-try to work in offline mode

Everything works well with Windows Mail on my desk.  I don't think that the problem is the server that sends emails, because these emails do not cause a crash when I open with Windows Live Mail on my laptop.

The server emails sent by is on my 'allowed senders' list in Windows Mail.

Any ideas on what is the problem or how to fix it?

The reason why I did not Live Mail on my new desktop computer is because I have more than 10 years of records organized of all the emails I received.  I was afraid to lose this info during the upgrade or passing.  I also find very confusing to use Windows Live Mail on my laptop.

Another question... I could download Windows Live Mail on my desk and run in addition to Windows Mail, without losing everything that I have stored in Windows Mail?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
    Sue

Not sure if it's too late, but I had the same problem and found a workaround.

Specific messages were originally the crash - not everyone, only some. After some trial and error, I discovered the problem - by displaying the message in HTML format can cause a malfunction. I don't know what specific problem in the message causes the crash, but I found that switching to plain text resolved the problem.

Switch to plain text turns off display HTML messages. You lose some formatting and images, but it does not crash, and that's what I found most critical. If you really want the screen, Windows Mail appears to include the HTML code as an attachment you want to open in another browser. I was able to do this successfully.

Here's how to change plain text:

    1. in Windows Mail, select the Tools menu.
    2. Select the submenu Options. You will see a dialog box.
    3. Select the playback tab.
    4. check the option "read all messages in plain text.
    5. click on OK

You should be good to go!

I always intend on the study of other e-mail clients - Windows Mail is not supported for Windows 7 and I like either Live Mail. If all goes well, that you pass the problem while you other research programs.

  • List of senders allowed on Eprint

I have set my printer to accept only eprint to selected users, but whenever I create an allowed list, save it, then disconnect the next time, as I log it didn't list just original pop - up box saying that it will start a list to make things easier. How can I stop my list created endangered?

I understand that your list of senders is not save.  I would like to try the following steps.  Let me know how it goes.

    1. connect to ePrint Center

    2. click on the senders list and add the user as usual.

    3. click on Save icon after the addition of address - do not sign off ePrint Center.

    4. then send an email to the printer from this sender you just added.

    5. once the e-mail has been received by the printer disconnect and then come back in ePrint center and check the list of senders.

  • I have 30 messages of my Web site users. How can I (1) Replay at ALL using an email. I can't reply to all allows me to respond to each person INDIVIDUALLY.

I have 30 messages of my Web site users. How can I (1) Replay at ALL using an email. I can't answer all allows me to respond to each person INDIVIDUALLY, and (2) how can I get all the addresses of electronic mail from senders AFTER I FILTER my mails for a list of emails which can only from my site.

I get tons of mail from my site, and I need an easier way to manage the workflow. each email open and copy the email address for 50 emails would be a lot of work. I just want 'select' all emails, do a right-click and enter all e-mail addresses from senders.

And, as stated above... Send an email to all by a RESPONSE/option button.

I found a solution. Updated my Thunderbird, and the app worked. I used v.11.
