  Hi all. I have a hard drive 1 TB, divided in a 250 GB drive C and 750 D player. My problem is that the C drive is nearly full, but the large D drive is almost empty. I have urgent need to move the partition, or transfer a huge chunk of files from C to D drive. The first would be better, or even delete the partition and have one disk, but I tried to move the partition using the Windows utility, and all I could do was reduce the C drive. I don't see how to remove the partition either.

  Which leaves the possibility of moving one of the large folders on drive C to D, which seems risky, but an it vendor told me that I could move the big folder of users (75GB). It seemed risky, but being desperate I tried - and got the error code 0 x 80070057. I would be grateful for any advice on how to solve this stupid problem.

  You can safe your Documents, photos, videos and music files to the other disk.  Navigate to the folder users, your user folder.  Right-click on each one and choose move.

  Remember that the overall performance will begin to suffer when you exceed 75% c in use.

  However, your real problem is the fact that your hard drive is partitioned and it need not be.

  Copy all your data on the D drive in an external storage device.

  Right click on computer, select Manage

  Click on disk management

  Right click on D and choose Delete volume

  Right click on the C partition and choose the volume of measurement.  Extend it up to the limit.

  Copy the data on your external storage on the largest new C space

  Now, you'll have one almost your entire partition 1 TB.

  It is possible that you have a problem with some Add on Firefox which is an obstacle to the normal behavior of your Firefox. Have you tried to disable all add-ons (just to see) to see if Firefox goes back to normal?

  Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you must make sure that it is not caused by one (or more) of your installed modules, whether an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do this easily and cleanly, start Firefox in safe mode (remember to select disable all add-ons when you start safe mode). If the problem goes away, you know that it's an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode and allow them one by one until you find the source of the problem.   You can't do that.  There may be 3rd party applications that will do something similar.

• Not enough memory, but only one partition is almost empty. running Windows XP Home Edition

  My computer says there is not enough memory available to perform the printing.  When I tried to defrag, there is not enough memory to perform this function, either.   Several years ago a friend introduced (then new) computer with 2 partitions - C and F drive.  Everything I've done seems to be on the C drive.  Now the C drive = 935 MB free of 19.52 GB of capacity, while F = 56.62 free 56,79 GB GB.  How to release the rest of the disk on drive F?   There are a few things here, and reading of 'aid', it seems that they would be removed if I deleted a partition.   This computer is now my husband, who use it for e-mails, play Spider and a few Google searches.   I'm no computer expert, so I'm hoping for a simple solution.

  Your report reveals a number of issues. Your C partition has only 4% of free disk space. You must have a minimum of 15% but preferably 25% of free disk space.

  Normally, the report will contain details of your MFT (Master File Table), but this information is not there. I have not encountered this situation before and at the present time, I do not know its importance. The MFT is a master index of all the files on your computer and their location, which allows the operating system to access all the files needed to perform a given task.

  The reference to the DC4.bak and similar files may be indicating a problem with your trash. This is where deleted files are stored temporarily until the user decides to permanently remove the files. The update of Windows XP SP3 is installed? Right click on your my computer icon and select properties to view details. There were three MS updates and you may not have the latest updates.

  Your version of AVG is obsolete. You have version 8 and the current version is 10.

  You use Outlook Express, and it takes a considerable disk space. You can move the folder to your partition F store. This link explains how:

  You can increase the free space on the disk by deleting restore points, keeping the last restoration, using disk cleanup. Follow the instructions on how to do it.

  Select Start, all programs, accessories, System Tools, cleaning disk to emptying your trash, delete temporary Internet files and other selected options. I recommend also you click Other Options, System Restore and delete all but the last system restore point.

  I recommend you download and install cCleaner, which is a best utility disk cleanup, but this would be better done later.

  You can create more free space in C by performing the steps suggested below.

  The default allocation for the restoration of the system is 12% on your C partition is more generous. I have them would be reduced by 700 MB.   If you use the GET method to send the search form, change the
  conditional statement like this:

  If (isset($_GET['search'])) & $totalRows_rs_searchresults == 0)

  Change the value of 'search' for the name of the field used to
  filter the results. If you use the POST method, use instead of $_POST
  from $_GET.

• How can I change the location of the weather on the empty search page?

  Hi Brian, I don't know how AVG that calculates the information on the page. It may be a feature of an add-on or a website, I can't say. If you click on the location (the color makes me think there is a link) it lets you change there?

  I understand when you read an email on your Mac and your iPhone that emails from the sender 2 display only one line of information. The same thing happens on a Windows PC or if you read your mail from your site e-mail provider?

  If not, then you can check on your Mac in the mail, under Mail settings > Preferences > display > load remote content into messages and make sure that the box there. See this article for more information:

  Furthermore, on your iPhone, tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, calendars and scroll down to the mail section. Make sure that the switch to load Images remotely is enabled.

• Suddenly cannot enter anything into some empty search fields, drop-down menus does not and javascript popups freeze randomly. WTH?

  I noticed a few things randomly does not not on my computer in the last month or two, and I have tried everything I can think to figure out what it is... still have not thought about it yet. Examples - I was on ebay and the tracking number, I clicked on the page 'My ebay' jumped open a javascript window, but then froze the page so I had to close the tab all. Then on Grooveshark, home page comes up, but if I type anything in the search field, I see what I type, but at the same time, I can still see their default search message. If I try to enter something and click search, it gives me just the warning that I wonder if I want to leave the page, he is never looking for. There are a few other times I think that I tried to use a menu drop-down, and they don't always work - they look just like they are which is clicked but nothing shows. • Windows 7 says that my drive is not enough space - when it is almost empty.

  I've been moving files from one disk of 1 TB on an empty 2 TB drive. So far, I moved on 200 GB on 2 TB drive. Twice today for moving groups of files that were 3 to 10 GB, my machine was told that he was not "enough space" on the reader target when there was, indeed, 1.6 TB of space empty remaining. After clicking on the 'try' new 'button' about 15 or 20 times, the machine is softened and allows me to move the files.

  I have a photosmart 7520, running on Windows 7 and connected wireless. I recently replaced the photo cartridge for installation with a new photo cartridge, and although I barely printed anything since installing it, the ink level is already shown below. What gives? I printed some diagnostic pages, but that's about all.

  BTW, I do not have print real photos, just regular documents.

  I found that had been suggested by above, leave the printer, eliminates this problem, it was very helpful. Since I started to follow this advice, I have not had any problems with the printer at all and I am happy that I bought it. I hope this helps.

• List of Windows 7 network is almost empty unless I disconnect al lmapped readers, and then populates the list

  I have a number of Windows 7 machines on an area with Small Business SERVER 2003 as a domain controller. Almost all windows machines 7 list only 5 of approximately 30 computers in the network list in the Explorer.

  I noticed if I disconnect all mapped drives, populates the list of networks, however as soon as I map 1 network drive, they all disappear again. Network discovery is enabled on all machines. I've disabled windows firewall and deleted the antivirus software and the issue is still ongoing.
