ALT + 7 (dash) makes the page disappear and go up to the start of firefox/google

When I press ALT and 7, I should be able to insert a dash. When I do, today, the page everything I typed disappears and it passes to the firefox/google start page.

Switch on NumLock to prevent Firefox to interpret as Alt + Home (7 is the home button)

Hello. I'm having a problem with Firefox 8. I've updated just now. At first, everything seemed fine, but only today, when I opened Firefox to browse the Internet, never, it seems, although I heard him running. The window itself disappears whenever I tried to access Firefox, despite always on display in the preview window. In addition, whenever I clicked to open firefox, several windows appear to have opened to the start page of Mozilla. Despite this, none of them will appear on the desktop when enlarged. I tried to access Firefox via the Manager tasks, restart my computer several times, had tried to get Firefox in safe mode and even re-installed and uninstalled Firefox itself three separate times. I also tried to use Ctrl-Alt-Delete and Ctrl-Alt-space-M and these corrections that I met to try to resolve this problem, of which none has solved this problem Firefox is the main browser I use. It's frustrating for me that I can't access the browser. It seems to work, else the fact that I can't see what I'm trying to access something other than a miniature preview displayed when I hover over the icon on the desktop. Is anyone else having a similar problem, or is that what I'm doing wrong?

I ran the antivirus scans on my computer, which is only a few months old and this doesn't seem to be a hardware problem. If anyone has any advice, solutions, or just the same problm, entry would be well appreciateed. I'm close to the end of my tether if it continues to be. I thank very you much for any help you may offer. I would be extremely grateful that I can't access my information for troubleshooting this issue due to the above question. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Edit: Starting from 27/11/11, I tried also back to previous versions of this browser to see if that fixed this issue, all to nothing does not. I've uninstalled and reinstalled this browser several times, always with no end to the problem in sight. I decided to leave Firefox uninstalled for now, out of pure frustration with this issue. I really love Firefox, but it is of no use to me if I can't access the content I am trying to see. I hope this problem is solved in the future, because to switch browsers threw me for a bit of a loop. Thanks again for your time and consideration in this matter.

Use Restore or expand in the context menu of the icon in the taskbar to set the focus to the Firefox application if you do not see it.

Open the system menu via Alt + space and see if you can resize the window.
If it works then close Firefox (file > exit/Quit) to save the setting.

  • Why is it "Private browsing" not indicated when automatically start navigation of privacy at the start of Firefox?

I was wondering why "Private browsing" is indicated only when it is turned on for a

forgot that I am in private browsing mode, so the things I want to keep (i.e.
