ALT + scroll wheel is not zoom in or out more?
I've recently updated to AI 2015.3 and now my alt + scroll wheel doesn't work anymore. I'm using the magic mouse apple a touch scrolling. How can I go back a version or fix this in the new version, any help would be appreciated. I have the new version of photoshop 2015.5 and Indesign 2015 and they all have the same problem. Need help ASAP! Thank you.
Reset mouse BT settings did not work. I understand the problem, though, the button of keyboards is toast. The other key alt/option on the right side works, should have tested that first, I spilled chocolate milk on this subject last week, thank you guys for your help.
Installed the new version of Firefox, now my scroll wheel does not work. I need this problem immediately or will be forced to give up Firefox as my browser. Can anyone help? I've seen some Q & A on this, but no trouble. Thank you!
This has happened

UPDATE: I've updated my synaptics driver for my touchpad (by going to the device by clicking on Update Manager in the tab drivers mouse) and this fixed the problem not only for my touchpad, but also for my USB mouse. My computer is a laptop HP, is told by the way.
I have lived 2 replacement phones and downloaded, updated and restored my phone and the photo function will not zoom in or out. I reported this problem to everyone I know who has a curve and most people don't even realize the existence of the problem.
Reset the device, take out the battery (with the device turns on) for 30 seconds and reinstall again, try again if the zoom does not work
Since the installation of the version 4.0, there was a problem with the scroll wheel doesn't work does not correctly. Most of the time it works but sometimes the wheel stops working and is no longer made the pages up and down. At this point, I have to close the browser and reopen it.
Have you updated your mouse drivers lately? In addition, this can happen if you spend the rendering engines using an addon like IE Tab. If you have installed IE Tab, it may need to be updated.
Hello, I would like to explain the whole situation.
I tried already to Microsoft support and they did not / were not able to help.
I have three mice:
(1) comfort Mouse 6000 for business, white
(2) comfort Mouse 3000 for businesses, white
(3) comfort Mouse 3000 (commercial version), black.
The 1 and 2 appear in Intellipoint and Windows 7 64 - bit (Devices section and printers) as Comfort Mouse 4500. 3 however presents itself as the correct model (3000). 3. scroll wheel perfectly works (it's instant and smooth). 1 and 2 scroll wheels don't move unless I really push on this issue, and even then it only moves a little at a time.
I uninstalled however Intellipoint at some point and 1 (tried 2) will work as it should (instant scrolling and smooth), however I can not change the side buttons.
Any help? Thank you!HelloGiven that the same problem occurs in different computer, the problem here lies in the mouse. I suggest you to contact the Broken/defective product group for further assistance.Broken or defective products

Some other info:
You know that you can control the fields of Photoshop http://screencast.com/t/ApVseKYRxz with the mouse wheel. Quite handy indeed. Just click on the field and spin the wheel and change the values.
My mouse wheel is unable to control the entry boxes in this way. I select the field, spin the wheel and nothing happen. When I turn it faster a couple of times, that values are changing - odd ha? Scroll normally - don't change, scroll fast change. But to scroll quickly is not an option because I can't change the values slightly in small increments... There is a bug really...
What I tried and did not work:
1 restarted Photoshop
2. connect / disconnect and change of the different receivers two USB slots.
3. last Reintalling drivers SetPoint (after uninstalling I run ccleaner)
4 put the logs all settings by default (because I specifically programmed some MouseKeys to Photoshop).
5 install earlier versions of SetPoint drivers.
6. set my UEFI BIOS to default values.
7 restart the BIOS to load all the drivers again, but still no luck
(the last think I did is to reinstall Photoshop)
What I've researched so far:
1. when I restart the computer and run Photoshop it works perfect HA! , but after a few seconds it is not words again...
2. when I stop the SetPoint software, when I stopped it, it word perfect.
3 when I unplug the keyboard receiver it word perfect, but I have no keyboard :)
4. everything works perfectly in Illustrator and After effects.
5 also, I noticed that when I CameraRaw images scrolling - http://screencast.com/t/xKnn6cY9 the I scroll more difficult and more difficult to achieve - spin the same problem.
6. also in photoshop and bridge scrolling here - is quite smooth and works perfectly - http://screencast.com/t/75IXMG6Zria
Perhaps the most important part - when I start to experience the problem:
I had the same setup, same everything and everything worked well.
I have installed the SSD drive, reinstalled Windows (same as before), updated my UEFI BIOS. Installed Photoshop and set point and problem began.
Posted same request to Logitech, but you want to ask for help too.
I found a solution.
1. uninstall your current driver of the set value.
2. run CCleaner - http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner
3. download an older version of setpoint - http://www.oldapps.com/setpoint.php
(I used the SetPoint 6.15 software (x 64), I tried 6.20 6.32, 6.50, but no luck)
4. now, all right!
Someone can it mark as resolved? Thank you!
Usually, I use a single line of Alt + mouse scroll to scrolling in firefox, but updated for firefox 17.0, it works no more, even in safe mode.
Hello pikashi, the scrolling behavior has been overhauled in firefox 17 (for technical reference information see https://wiki.mozilla.org/Gecko:Mouse_Wheel_Scrolling).
It must still be possible to define a frame rate different when you press the ALT key you can enter Subject: config in the address bar of firefox (confirmed the message information where it appears), search preferences starting with mousewheel.with_alt.delta_multiplier_ ..., you can double-click on these parameters and assign a different value to - then a restart of firefox is required for the changed settings take place in the browser.
I don't know exactly how they work, but for example by defining all 33 instead of 100, the scrolling speed is greatly reduced. You can play around a bit to find the ideal values which correspond to your needs...
Original title:-mouse wheel stops
In recent weeks, the mouse wheel stops working after a few seconds, when clicking to the left or right, it works again for a short period.
I've updated mouse driver win 7, changed the question even the mouse. Its in all the applications I use, ms, so many others.
Hope someone has an answer.
See you soon

I just downloaded the Trial Version of Muse CC and I'm playing with the features of Muse CC and I noticed that I can not use the position function key or scrolling movement. Y at - it something I'm doing wrong or it is not available in the Trial Version? This is what it looks like when I try to use it:
No, the trial version has a time limit, no restriction of the service.
I use CS6 on windows 7-64 bit with a keyboard and a mouse. I have a problem with the default functionality of the 'Alt' key in windows 7. For those of you who are familiar with the default functionality of the alt key in windows 7, go to the next paragraph. For those of you unfamiliar, pressing the ALT key in most programs in windows will highlight the toolbar so that you can use the keyboard to make a selection in your 'file', 'Edit', 'View', toolbars etc. If your mouse goes dead.
My problem is that I use the Alt + scrolling the mouse to zoom in all the time. I rely on this feature, probably more than I should. Yes, I use Ctrl + or cntrl - for zoom, but that means that I have to take my right hand out of my mouse and I use photoshop 8 + hours some days. Time is essential to complete projects on time.
So has anyone found solutions to this? I tried to disable the service by default alt in windows 7 (it did not because you can not without third pary openware). I tried to reproduce the shortcut in the Edit - menu keyboard shortcuts (did not work because he does not recognize the mouse scrolling). Am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated because I'm tired of having to reselct my fonts when the alt key turns my focus of the workspace toolbar.
If you select Zoom with scroll wheel in Edit > Preferences > General, then you can simply use the scroll on the mouse for zoom wheel without pressing any other key.
Or you might rather than the preference above press both the Ctrl + Alt, which prevents the highlighting from the menu bar
I use Firefox Beta 19 for Android on a mini MK808 PC (but this also applies to other devices when using any kind of keyboard/mouse combo external;) I tried also with a Tablet Motorola XOOM 2 Media Edition with similar results).
My keyboard is a Logitech K400 with a touchpad. It must scroll the page when we slide down/up with two fingers. The feature does not work in Firefox; Instead, I have to hold the mouse button and drag a finger. The gesture of two-finger scrolling works with Chrome and the browser of stock on this device, this issue should be repairable. It's a little annoying because Firefox is differently from other applications.
In addition, during this test with another real with a mouse wireless keyboard/mouse combo I found that the mouse scroll wheel does not work. Again, it works in Chrome, so it is a behaviour Firefox only. (In fact, it makes perfect sense, because scrolling with two fingers to the keyboard Logitech is to emulate the scroll wheel). This is actually good news, because now I'm sure enough many users will be offended by this bug and it should be fixed.
Note: in case this information is useful, the scrolling mouse work on Firefox start page with thumbnails of the most used links, but not on the other pages.

Apparently, there's a difficulty, but when he reached the beta channel?
Yes! He works in Aurora! Even if for some reason, the logic is opposite to that of Chrome (scrolling down moves the page down in the window instead of the top). I can live with that.
Edit: well, it works partially in Aurora. Scrolling of the Mouse/touchpad does not work on pages that have fields independently scrollable (for example, the web interface of Tweetdeck with different columns) or the parts that are supposed to be stationary. I hope that (and reverse the direction) will be fixed later.
So there happen to be one who draws on a macbook pro without a mouse. This morning I installed Illustrator CC and discovered that scrolling with two fingers up and down while holding the alt key is no longer zoom in and out. There is a new feature where you can pinch to zoom, but this won't cut it for me. So my question is: can I re - enable alt + scroll = zoom for the trackpad? Is this a bug or did they intentially fall this feature. I checked Photoshop CC and alt + scrolling works great for Zoom.
I contacted Adobe support to try to find the answers to my questions... no help. Finally, I learned that my trackpad was the problem, but I assure the person that I am running the CC and CS6 and my trackpad isn't the problem.
Anyone else having the same problem? Know any fix?
My apologies for the long wait. The zoom issue has been corrected in the version 17.01. Please install the update via your Adobe Desktop App or app by going to help > update.

The camera feature does not zoom in or out when the trackball is moving upwards or downwards. He worked initially, but it doesn't now. Is there a solution to this, or do I have to take my 8330 to the dealer?
A simple battery pull solves most of the problems of camera. Remove the battery with the phone on and leave it for 30 seconds. Replace the battery and allow the phone for 1-3 minutes to restart the phone. Then try the zoom feature and please let us know if this solves your problem.
Is there by chance a way to change the entries and outzooming in InDesign CS6 to be with the Ctrl key instead of the Alt key? When you use the mouse to zoom scroll wheel, I mean.
I used to press Ctrl and scroll the wheel to zoom in and zoom out, and now I'm too old to learn using Alt + key instead, that it is impossible, the tracks in my head to use Ctrl is too deep. Cannot be erased or replaced.
Or is there maybe a way to make the wheel to zoom in and out without stroking any key?
No possibility to change the zoom keys. Here's another way to zoom in and out.
Use Ctrl + space, and then click the mouse to zoom in
Use Ctrl + Alt + SPACEBAR, and then click the mouse to zoom out
Since I need a pixel of ScrollBar of the browser window, in FF 12.0 I used:
MouseWheel.withaltkey.action = 4
MouseWheel.withaltkey.numlines = 1
MouseWheel.withaltkey.sysnumlines = false
and I was able to use Alt + wheel to scroll the content of only 1 pixel.
However, after updated to FF 20.0.1 Alt + mouse wheel stopped working so I try to reactivate the feature, but without success. According to me, there were a few changes from 17 FF:
Pixel scrolling seem to be now removed from suggestions, action = 4 once upon a time "Document scroll by a number of pixels (given by the numlinesrequired property)" and now it says:
' Note that unlike 16 or earlier, you cannot specify the unit values of delta such as scrolling by pixel, line or page. That is, you cannot specify the value of deltaMode of DOM WheelEvent with all preferences. Under Windows, the unit of scrolling is online or page with the mouse wheel. »
Is there a solution to re - activate a pixel scrolling without having to install Add - ons (each add-on for smooth scrolling some other behavior changes)?
There was changes in the prefs of mousewheel as a result of the implementation of the DOM3 (Bug 719320) scrolling mouse wheel.
I don't think that it is possible to replace / adjust the amount of scrolling when you use a modifier key for a certain number of pixels.
There is only the delta multipliers that change the number of lines (33 changes scrolling amount to one-third), so probably closed you can get is to assign the action to the modifier Alt 1 (or 1% of the default).
You can change mousewheel.*.delta_multiplier_y prefs (vertical axis) to change the vertical scroll amount.
- MouseWheel.system_scroll_override_on_root_content. Enabled-> true
