We needed to move to another port for smtp 3535 25 for security reasons.  This is a wide spread question.  We are connecting to a POP3 "qmail" server to send and receive e-mails.  All systems work perfectly with the receipt of emails. Need a solution to this problem as soon as POSSIBLE please...

  • Alerts emails to a non-standard SMTP port

Is it possible to configure LiveCycle ES 8.2 to send e-mails to alert to a SMTP server on a non-standard port?  In the /AdminUI there is a field for the server, but not for the port.

    Thank you

    Hi Jon

The ability to configure a nonstandard port in the /AdminUI has been added in the ES2.

There is a work around that you can use the 8.2.1.

Depending on the process under the management of the process, open the process called Notification by Email.

    You will see 3 services:

    1. don't send no attachments

    2 send mail

    3. send with map of attachments

On the properties of each service on the connection settings tab, locate the SMTP Port number.

You will notice that it is hardcoded at 25.

Change it to some port that you need for your SMTP server.

Your task Notifications will now be transmitted using this port.

  • Sent print Outlook 2007 emails as attachments

    Hello

My new HP Photosmart Premium e-all-in-one C310 is a personal printer.

I work from home using a VPN connection - so I can't print directly - I send my emails from the printer.

If I send a single email - to make the content I want to print in the email - it works.

However if I send a number of emails - like attachments - it does not - print with the error message "FAILED." - not enough

Why is this?  I thought ePrint supports printing from Outlook 2007?

Can someone help me to print emails and attachments?

    Thank you

    Kevin

    Hi kjgunn,

Currently, ePrint don't support Outlook message as an attachment.

Prospects are referring to the body of the Outlook e-mail.

This is certainly a good feedback and something that HP will want to improve in the future.

    Thank you.

  • Outbox stuck on Outlook 2007

I use Outlook 2007 on XP and I have a few emails stuck in the Outbox.

I tried a few different settings, the connection to the server with a normal connection, a SSL, TLS. SSL does not work but the normal and TLS works when I click on the button "test connection". But e-mails from the Recycle Bin are still there.

I just installed Service Pack 2 for Office 2007, but the problem persists.

In most of my efforts, I don't get an error message. Once I got an error message saying that it timed out the connection to the SMTP server.

When I try all these things with Outlook Express, everything works normally. The Test account works. How Outlook can not work?

I also try to delete messages in the Outbox folder, but the system, I cannot do so because it is said that he sends them. I click the buttons cancel, he still complains with the same message.

Everyone comes to this kind of problems before? Is there a way to dig deeper in the journal of communication in order to see what could be wrong here?

See here for the 3 methods of elimination of mails blocked http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/messagestuckinoutbox.htm

You cannot play with the settings of your account, unless your ISP supports the setting you have selected.

If you have integrated Anti Virus in Outlook that can be the cause of many problems. Integration does not give better protection that the wicked would be detected by the scanner in real-time.
If you have not integrated AV, uninstall this AV, so symantec, use the utility on their website to remove completely.
Restart the computer, reinstall the AV without the outlook integration. Then update your virus deffinitions.

Another cause must be running an auto send/receive definition - it change to put 10

Is there a solution for outlook 2007 not finished indexing of Microsoft?

    Hello Emlyn John Powell, welcome.

This could be caused by a number of things. I recommend to try this first:

    1. open Outlook
    2. go in (top) tools > Options > Search Options
    3. uncheck the box next to your mailbox name
    4. click 'OK', then 'apply '.
    5. close Outlook completely (restart the computer if you must)
    6. open Outlook and see what happens

    7. then go to tools > Options > menu of Search Options and re - activate Indexing
    8. click 'OK', then 'Apply', and then restart your computer

  • Change the Port number of e-mail outgoing "587" as required to use the Comcast e-mail

When my email out through Comcast did not all Comcast more, technical support told me that I had to change the number of Port for outgoing in Windows Live Mail beta 110 to 587.

Worked well, until I had a system crash.

When I reinstalled Windows Live Mail, I could fine is no longer the 'Tools' button in the status bar and by result cannot change the port number.  So, I can't send emails from Comcast of Windows Live Mail.

The inbound port setting is apparently correct already, as I had no reception bad don't mail... sending mail.

I hope it will work for you.  I use Windows Live Mail 2009.

If you look on the left side of the window, you will see the name of your e-mail account.  (Underneath there is Inbox, drafts, sent items, etc.)
You'll want to right-click on the name of the mail account. (Right above where it says Inbox.)
Then you'll want to click on properties.
A properties box opens.  You'll want to click on the tab "Advanced" on the right side of the Properties window.
The first area is the SMTP (outgoing) port number.  You just want to change it in 587.

  • Outlook 2007 receives all incoming mail

I have been using outlook express on an old emachine.  Upgrading to a new desktop computer with vista and outlook 2007.  I don't get the same emails on the new platform that I receive on the former.  I use verizon as my Internet access provider.  Any suggestions?

There is no need to go back. Some of us work at real jobs! (Note: not everyone who helps out on these forums work for Microsoft; a lot of people [like me] is volunteers.)

I think you missed my point or I can be misinterpreted your messages. I assume you are using the same email address on two machines and download of mail on both machines. If it is incorrect, please let me know. In the meantime, let me give you a brief explanation of the work of e-mail that could be more illustrative. It is an explanation of "boilerplate" I give to some of my clients, so not everything might apply to you - and I certainly don't want to hurt your feelings, if you already know this stuff - I'm just trying to help you. :-)

    *****
When you sign up with a provider of Internet (ISPS) like AT & T or Comcast Service, they give you email addresses, as * address email is removed from the privacy * or * address email is removed from the privacy *. When someone sends an email to you at this address, the e-mail goes and lives on one of the computers of your ISP. This computer is called a mail server. Now you have the choice on how to get that email.

    A. you can access reading online in your browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.), your ISP e-mail program. It's called webmail.

    1. the advantage of webmail is that you can read your mail from any computer that is on the Internet. You just need to open a browser, go to the Web site of the ISP, login and go to your Inbox. Enamel still lives on the mail server of the ISP, not on your computer, and he stayed there until you remove them from Inbox of your e-mail on the Internet. He is interested only in viruses by the ISP anti-virus software. Since your email and address book are on the ISP e-mail server, you need not save anything unless you want to change ISP.

    (2. the drawbacks of webmail are a) If you have remote access and/or pay for Internet access by the minute, you must be online to read your mail; (b) you will not like the ISP webmail interface.

    B. the alternative to webmail access your email using a mail program (called an e-mail client) like Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Thunderbird, etc. Using a mail client downloads the email on your computer. Email has been scanned for viruses by the ISP anti-virus software, and again by the anti-virus software you have installed on your computer when you download. Unless you choose to keep messages on the e-mail server of the ISP and do not forget to remove them from webmail regularly, once downloaded on your computer these emails went from the ISP mail server. You can no longer access your emails from anywhere except on your own computer in the mail client you are using. As your mail and address book are on your computer in your e-mail client, backup regularly is your responsibility.
    *****

So if you download mail with Outlook Express on the same machine and mail with Outlook on another computer, you will get the same emails on both machines up to what you set each email (Outlook Express or Outlook) client to save a copy of the mail on the server. Then, you will get the same mails on both machines for as long you said the mail server to keep a copy of the mail. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

    I can't send emails via outlook 2007 - 0x800CCC80 error code

Strange, I can add a new email ACC. and send e-mail, these two ACC. with the same POP3 and SMTP server.

    Hello

-Try in Outlook - Tools - account settings - double-click the account - additional settings - outgoing server
-check "connect to the incoming mail server before sending mail"-apply / OK.

If this does not work and your outher accounts work, you can save your Outlook.pst file by
COPY to another folder. As a safety, you must also export your Messages in this account as well
    as your Contacts.

Then REMOVE the problem of account and recreate it. If you have lost messages or contacts you can IMPORT
the Outlook.pst file you saved from sales you made.

I hope that you are in business now. Rob - bicycle - Mark Twain said it is good.
