  If you bought the CS6 Indesign download at Adobe online, you can go ahead and sign you in to your Adobe account and navigate to 'My Adobe' > 'My orders' to locate the order, its download and serial number.

  You can also download the same trial again and just use the serial number of the to activate for full version. Here is the link for the trial for CS6 versions versions:

• Impossible to install InDesign once removed from the computer

  Hi Indesign users,.

  Here are some technical details:

  1 MacMini 3.1, 6 GB RAM, OS X 10.9

  2 adobe CC - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator

  3 inDesign has worked flawlessly until this morning.

  4. no update yesterday (Saturday, 30 November) and today (December 1)

  5. no fonts installed in between.

  What I did:

  This morning (1 December), I tried to open an InDesign file to check if my coworker has completed the project. The file is hosted on Dropbox in a folder that we share. Therefore, I did what I always do with any of my files IND: double-click it to open it. It has the file open, showed me a white screen with all the menus and tools of InDesign. And it was like that for several minutes until I decided to force IND quit smoking.

  Then I tried again simply open the IND software. IND began to gave me an error like: IND is blocking down a serious error...

  I turned off the computer, and he did it again. InDesign has the file open correctly, but I can't do anything: no no scrolling, no navigation between pages, nothing. He froze showing me a cursor circle Rainbow for the minutes. So, I decide, once again, to force the software to close. I can't open InDesign at all after that. The same serious error message is shown.

  I have delete all kinds of files based on things I've read on the forum: caches, workplaces etc. Nothing has worked.

  As I had enough of these errors I lived several months ago I decide to completeely remove the InDesign in the hope that I can reinstall it again once, clean without errors.

  I remove all instances where InDesign may be present. At least, I think that in this way.

  I shut down the computer and open it there even once, is went to Creative Cloud Desktop Manager and when I tried to choose install InDesign, surprise. The Manager is shopwing that InDesign is up-to-date. I can't install it.

  Help, please.

  I did a full instalation of my MAC, about a month ago just to get rid of these errors of InDesign. I had enough of it. I don't want to reinstall my MAC from scratch just because that damn application.

  P.S. I just read something on an old post. In this case I agree, there is a file with the extension: *.idlk that's why I can't open the InDesign file? What to do in the future when I see files like that? In any case, it is now unimportant because it won't save me from missing installation option for InDesign.

  You will probably need to run the cleanup tool now since you do not use the uninstall program to remove the program. See CS for installation problems cleaning tool | CCM, CS6, CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3

• Problem installing Indesign CS6 in another mac

  I bought Indesign CS6 some time ago, but I wanted to install it in another mac.

  So I uninstall the program in my current mac.

  Then I used the installation CD in another mac, I entered the key, logged in with my adobe account.

  At the end, 99%, and the CD is ejected and an error message...

  How can I install it?

  Your license allows you to have two active facilities.  If you want to uninstall you should disable so that you retrieve activation.  Otherwise, it remains in your account as a used activation.  Normally, what you do is open a/the program and choose Help-> Deactivate.  If you have uninstalled then you have lost the ability to disable and need to contact Adobe support via chat and ask them to reset your activations.

  This side, if you have never used an activation then you have still an available for use.  So you should be able to go forward with the new facility.  It's just cleaner to not have unavailable additional activation.

  In regards to the error message flows, I suspect that you left the start of it when he has an Exit Code, if I'm wrong.

  We used the Adobe Download Manager to get a trial of InDesign CS6.

  After the download is complete, the user is prompted to restart the computer.

  We rebooted the system, the Adobe Download Manager is not started again, but we found the folder where the bits were saved and have tried to run the Set - up.exe from there.

  We can launch the Set - up.exe using run as administrator but nothing happens. \

  The process consumes about 8 MB of RAM and does not provide a visible window to open or put in the foreground.

  What steps are required to install this trial version?

  No instructions are included in the file when the download was registered.

  It was because I was installing directly from network dump.

  I managed to install and register the software.
