  • Satellite A200-1AE: sound from speakers when headphones are connected

    Hello. Sorry for my English.

I have problem when I started a player (winamp player or a movie or a game with the sound) and I want to change the sound from the speaker to the helmet by plug them into the headphone jack. The sound is still speaker.

So I just restart this player or the game and then sound is switched to the headphones.

So in sum up: when I want to listen to the sound of some player I have to plug in headphones first and then start the player in order reverse, the sound is not switched to the helmet line.

In other laptops with Vista I have check this problem is not to happen.
    Do you have any suggestions?

    Hello Pawel

I have the Satellite A200 too preinstalled with recovery DVDs. I was very curious and I tested it on my laptop. In my case everything was OK. Through the use of headphones, Laptop speakers are automatically TURNED off. Remove helmet speakers work again.

I am really confused, and it is really not easy to say what the problem is here. AFAIK in headphone plug it is small, and through the use of headphones this past should disable Laptop speakers. All you can do is check if it happens after clean OS installation, maybe update the BIOS or install the latest driver sound.

Sorry, but I don't see any other possibilities. If anything maybe you must contact the service in your country. I really can't imagine that this little mixer may be defective but service may only do a check.

    Bye and good luck!

  • Series of beeps sounds coming from the laptop when windows starts... (connecting to the computer)?

Ok... I recently bought a laptop that had some viruses... So, recently, I have completely swept away my laptop Sony VAIO (model name-VPCEH1AFX) and started from the factory settings. It seems to be back to normal, but he's doing a quick series will beep when I turn on the computer. Randomly, he makes noises in two quick beeps and beeps extended. It sometimes lasts a minute, but it can take up to 5 minutes at a time.

The only difference with before reboot (that I have noticed so far) is... (1) I can't use the mouse to copy and paste... it is as if the mouse settings are pushed. (2) some games do not completely load right... as the option menus are able to be seen but not used. (3) on the beep. (4) it seems that I've lost a driver or something.

I have read a few forums and studied the * outta this noise and have read that this could be the BIOS, or a harddrive out or something of this nature. I scanned everything I could think of to analyze and what she says goes and is up-to-date. I'm not an expert in computer science and REALLY need some (simple as possible) record... lol... I use this laptop for personal use and linked work use... Please help...

Alright. You can try to control your system and see if it will produce freeze any error, momentary, or everything that happened around a minute before or after the sound signal will sound. Also, try to reset your BIOS to its default settings. Good luck.

  • Satellite P100-192: cracking sounds coming from the speaker when you use MSN

Hello, I just bought this laptop p100-192. The speakers seem to mute (especially when there is an incoming message in MSN)
Is anyone know why and a solution to this?

    Hello

I studied in this forum for answers and it seems that the update of the audio driver will solve this problem.
There is an update available (V3.11.0.51) driver that solve this crackling.

But before installing the audio driver updated to at least the BIOS version 2.10 or higher must be installed on the laptop.
Be careful. You must use the good BIOS and the correct procedure to update BIOS!

I suggest to check the audio device by default and check if it helps.

Set the audio output device by default using steps below:

    a. click the Start button and then click Control Panel. In the search box, type sound, and then click sound.
    b. click playback devices.
    c. Select the default device (internal speakers or speakers of HDMI output) and set it as default to make the sound come from specific device.

  • Microsoft LifeChat LX 3000 stops the sound from the speakers when connected

    Hello

I bought a USB Microsoft LifeChat LX 3000 headset, and when it is plugged into my USB port, no sound is heard from the speakers.

When I disconect the speakers rund LX 3000 perfectly.

Someone knows how to fix this problem, please

I wanted to check if Microsoft LifeChat LX 3000 has all the entries in this section and if it has settings to enable or disable speakers when it is installed.  It is obviously the installer to work this way by default--I know not how to change the value by default if there is no entry in the audio section.

Try to download updated drivers for your sound card - she is in the speakers and contolling the LifeChat for an upgrade can provide options that are not currently available and you should be able to control if both can work at the same time.  While you're there, download and reinstall the updated drivers LifeChat as well.

Here is a link to the Microsoft Support - I don't know if it will be free or not (I can't go past the area enter the product id field). https://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?gprid=12368&st=1&wfxredirect=1.  If free (I'm not sure I want to pay for support) and then explain the problem and they may be able to tell an easy solution that we have lost.

Here is a link to the product documentation that can explain what is happening and why.  Maybe it's just the way they are designed to work. http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/documentation/default.aspx?type=LifeChat&sku=JUG-00001.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Windows 7 - audio system sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Soundcard Question. Issue of the audio recording. Poor sound quality from the speakers.

I connect on - the work of sound system very well.  Media player works fine.  The next time I log on - no sound system.  Everything is plugged, convenience store finds no problems, Media player goes through all the steps and looks that don't worry, still no sound.  I have download a fix for the VIA recommended by Dell Driver.  I did, and it still has the same problem.  I can close, reconnect, and then the sound will work.  Sometimes I have to close and log on twice in a row so he can launch.

Can someone point me in the right direction to solve this problem?  I am working on a Dell Inspiron 546 AMD Athlon II x 2 215 2.70 GHz and 64-bit with 400 GB of RAM.  I installed Windows 7 but when I dug deeper into the service code for this machine which found at some point in time he had installed Vista.  This could be the same Vista to Windows 7 problem audio, everyone seems to have?  I bought this Staples announced new with Windows 7 as operating system.

I did research on all forums and responses and am unable to check if I have a "sound card".  I'm not used with the terminology so even if I follow the Microsoft instructions to find the right place to check and see, I do not understand what I see when I'm there.  It is said: ATI high definition Audio Device and VIA High Definition Audio.  Is this to say that I have a sound card or I should get it a?  If I buy a sound card will it fix my audio problem?

Even though I had my audio problem fixed, I was disappointed by the sound quality of the speakers on this new system up to date.  My speakers on my old computer (which lasted from Windows 98) were by far superior in sound quality.  I don't understand why they sound so crappy and barely louder, and when you show the to they have a rattle for them.  I tried plugging my old speakers on my new computer, but nothing happens.  My new speakers have a Plug and a USB port.  I don't know what is... why goal can not use my 'old'?

Finally, I want to record my vinyl on discs and need a great sound system.  Any advice?

I removed all the ATI Audio as suggested.  The result in the short term is that the audio quality is improved.  I no longer hear the "crackling" when the sound is turned on.  I'll answer more if the issue of audio (works) continues to be a problem because the fix.  If you don't hear from me, then please consider the problem solved and my thanks to you.

  • HP laptop - 15-ac158dx: squeaky sound coming from computer speakers, headphones are not affected

Earlier this week, I received and downloaded the latest update of Windows 10. It went smoothly as planned and everything seemed fine until yesterday, I started to experience a buzzing scratching of my laptop speakers. It was intermittent at first, and then it escalated. Some music and audio as dialogue and certain songs feels this scraping sound along the coast the audio ordinary much.

To test fade the cause is physical (speakers themselves) or software related (because of update) I did the following.

I tried what has been said in this issue; http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Audio/HP-15-audio-crackles-unless-headphones-plugged-in/td-p/5....

I created a system on the laptop restore point and backup all data and uninstalled the audio drivers from the Device Manager and reinstalled.

It didn't work and now I'm assuming it's a physical problem with the speakers themselves. If this is the case, what should I do? A check appears to show that my warranty is still applicable; should I go with him?

    @cannonfodder-14

Thanks for joining the HP Forums.
I'll be happy to help you

If I understand correctly the helmet function correctly, however, the speakers create excessive noise and in view of the fact that you have already reinstalled the drivers, tried a backup & restore, but the problem persists.

It is time you contact HP telephone support and get a repair service (free, because your computer is covered under HP warranty).

HP technical support are available by clicking on the following link:

    (1) once the page opens, please select the country in which you are located. Then enter your model of HP on the right number.

    (2) then choose "Contact the Support" tab at the top and scroll to the bottom of the page "HP Support - contact" to fill out the form with your details.

    (3) Once finished, click the "Show Options" at the bottom right.

    (4) Finally, scroll to the bottom of the page and select "Get a phone number." A file number and telephone number will now fill for you.

  • Cut the speakers when headphones unplugged.

So, I wanted to know if there was a way to mitigate the speakers automatically when my headphones were disconnected. I tried the device management, but my speakers seem to be considered the same as my helmet as I use. I'm running Windows Vista business on a HP Compaq 2710p and my speakers are SoundMAX Integrated Digital HD Audio. Thanks in advance.

    Hello

You can check to see if you have an Audio Manager in Control Panel, you can not and even if you
do, there are maybe not THOSE that allows this. In native mode, Windows doesn't have these settings.

A method I know to do is to have an external amp that allows to control the speakers and
any helmet hanging on to her. You would normally connect an amp to your LINE that is not
affected by the Volume on PC controls. You can get this connection to your headphone plug (mine
does) with or without adapters and then volume controls affect the noise level, but you can
still in control with the external amplifier.

    I hope this helps.
