Am I a good deal?

I paid £280 for a good condition 2014 iMac 21.5 "original box & accessories. Logic pro and final cut installed (no interest for me).

Any software/apps from the app store is NOT transferable license is for the buyer only and relates to access to its Apple ID forever. So, without any fault of your choice, you are running illegal software is it she got on the app store. If he got the retail disks, while he should have given you those as well as the registration of license keys. The end result is: every time you put to day or need to reinstall, apps will disappear because they are not yours and you will never be able to update because they require Apple ID of the buyer

This licensing rule also applies to the operating system. If it does not wipe the Mac and reinstall the original OS, you'll have a problem, try to update or reinstall or upgrade unless you can connect to the app store with Apple ID of the seller

You can take care of this right now by using the restoration of the internet (Command + Option + R) to start in the Apple servers, use disk utility to erase your disk, and then reinstall the operating system. Who will install the original version of OS and you can then update using your own Apple ID. It would be the best way to do it, it will eliminate those software that left you there.

As for the price you paid: I can't comment because I would not buy a machine that violates the license agreement.

I just checked e - bay and a number of vendors offer a (BP6X) spare battery, car charger and charger at home for the Droid.  The price seems too good to be true ($10-14).   Should I consider?  Someone had experience with these low-end devices?  Thank you.

It sounds very low for brand new and authentic motorcycle components.   My favorite match cell phone parts store has OEM batteries for $19.99.  (http://www.cellphoneshop.net/bp6x.html)  I tried a couple of spare batteries (non-Moto) and was not happy.  (They weren't set up properly or last as long.)

  • Thanksgiving Deal W530DB

    Hello

Maybe it's a bit random, but I wonder if anyone here has the data sheet for the W530DB Doorbuster deal on Thanksgiving (November 29) 2013? It was a limited case of a 39% percent off the coast day. As I tried to look for the details now, I only managed to find the price at the request of the coupon was $1 349 (of an original price of about $2,200).

I was surprised by such a good deal that day, but because it costs $ 300 above my budget, I opted for the doorbuster on T530 finally matter. So, this is not a technical question and is fairly random, but y at - there someone here who bought in or took note of the agreement and has a detailed specifications of the W530DB this day there?

    Thanks galore.

I didn't do it, but it was probably a preconfigured machine. Most Black Friday deals are not for personalized offers (i.e. CTO) and are not top of the line models.

At that price, it would not have had the FHD, would have had the K1000 graphics not K2000 and would not have had the sensor of Pantone color or upgraded wireless antenna. It was also probably of them with only two slots for memory instead of four, without RAID and probably no backlit keyboard. To get the above options, a machine would be of the order of 1600.

Unless you specifically need graphic card for something, then you have an amazing machine already. I highly recommend upgrading to a quality SSD or mSata SSD to the more sensitive machine. And if you got the T530 with FHD screen, don't look back because I had rather the T530 with display than the W530 without.

    Right!

    No!

and how to determine what fixed DO not implement.

    Each of them.

Registry cleaning programs are all snake oil. Cleaning of the

do not use any registry cleaner. Despite what many people think, and
What software record cleaning suppliers are trying to convince you,
have unused registry entries is not really make you hurt.
The risk of a serious problem caused by a registry cleaner by mistake

    It can have.

Let me stress that neither me nor anyone else who warns the
use of registry cleaners never said that they always cause
problems. If they have always caused problems, they would disappear from
the market almost immediately. Many people have used a registry

The problem with a registry cleaner is that it carries with it

  • model from 2012 to 2015 date for the meeting?

Has anyone heard of an old model of Macbook Pro with a date of the current Assembly?

Not one, but two of my colleagues recently bought Macbook Pro of the Best Buy Web site, thinking they were getting a good deal. But when they complained to me about the slow performance, I told them that the Macbook Pro have been 2012, not 2015! The bodies of these laptops are certainly the 2012 models - they have internal SuperDrive and same port configuration. And yet when we ran the serial numbers, they have all two current AppleCare. No place on the Web from Best Buy site he mentioned that they have been renovated, either.

I went to www.powerbookmedic.com and it was even more detailed information:

    Model number:

    A1278
    Number of sales: MD101LL/A
    Machine number: MacBookPro9, 2
    Dimensions: 12.78 in x in x 0.95 in 8,94
    Weight: 4.5 lb
    Production: June 11, 2012 - present

Based on your serial number, your device is a model of Mid 2012 and was assembled on:

    Year of production: 2015
    Week of production: 46 (November)
    Production number: 700

Anyone seen this before? How can a body 2012 have been assembled in 2015? This means that they are refurbished? Why is the date of production always open for this model?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

This model has been in continuous production since its introduction. I see it as a credit to the value and reliability of this model. Apple uses dates to indicate when changes have been made, not the time period. If you buy Apple, you get a new unit. I can't say that about Best Buy.

This isn't like cars where something changes every year. It is rather old Winchester rifles. The Winchester Model 1894 is still in production with only a minor change in the name of model 94.

I believe that this model has been in continuous production longer than any other Apple product. You can always a "built to order":

    http://www.Apple.com/shop/buy-Mac/MacBook-Pro?product=MD101LL/A & step = config

I have this model in the "basic configuration" purchased directly from Apple as a refurb in 2013 and it is not slow. It came with OS OS10.8.5 Mountain Lion and today runs the latest OS version 10.11 without complaining. I hope that Best Buy have not previously installed some unnecessary anti-virus or the operating system on the computers of your friends.

It is always better to buy a Mac directly from Apple rather than through the limited number of dealers, they use.

  • Envoy in contact form does not end in sent items

First of all, a nice feature is what preceded this form (trying to answer my question and undo/resolve the workload of duplicate messages), where I'm typing now.

I see two to be descriptive. Good point... but fortunately, I can be concise, and I'll get right to the point.

My dad said that a form of contact presented in the browser does not (not) found in the sent items of the email client. Which is probably a good thing.

It would be a good deal to represent? It is useless, but for a system administrator to do it manually. So he would probably need a script...

    )

PS: search powerhungry Google for 'thunderbird sent form elements' (should have that in the representation of Thunderbird...); It might be good to separate the content from that of other pieces on the Web page... perhaps that Google reads. A good deal for the hubs! Or webrings as we were doing it at the time to call them. All voluntarily.

You are trying to read through all the unwanted extra in your post, I think your question is why items sent with the web mail interface do not appear in the folder sent to Thunderbird or any other e-mail client.
Best estimate is that you use POP email and that's how it works. POP email only interfaces with the Inbox.
If you want all folders to synchronize you should use IMAP E-mail.
    Google that.

OK guys, I am owner of a Mid-2012 MacBook Pro 13.3 "with a 2.5GHz processor with 4 GB of RAM and a self installed 480 GB SSD that is about 3 years old. I have an iPhone6 which is maybe 1 1/2 years old on and worked perfectly all the time until a few weeks ago. Seems as if after 9.3.2,and my GPS no longer works and the scope of my Bluetooth is about 3 feet.  I did the reset, the new phone set in place, and a visit to the Apple store and nothing worked. Not on the point of paying $299 for ship away for repair and its not in warranty. Are there other options? I will probably update in the fall, but don't want to go all summer with a phone working partially since I rely heavily on Bluetooth, GPS and WiFi. The phone is a fitness fantastic and lived his life in a good deal, so I can't that suspect update did something weird.

  • iPad mini 2

It is better to buy a new iPad with IOS $7 199 2 or is there a better Tablet out there for the same price or less?

It depends on what you want to do with it and your budget

The iPad looks like a good deal if most of what you want to do is the internet browsing and e-mail

It would be a good buy in 2016? I have program, record music, design in PS, and use the internet in general. I have to write a lot of papers on it also.

I'm looking for a startup time Super fast (like 60 seconds), no lag and fast rendering.

To play a video game would be cool too.

Would I be able to update a more recent operating system too?

If someone could give me some info on what this machine is capable of, and if it is still relevant in 2016. in terms of functionality I would appreciate it a lot!

    Thank you

    Hello..

    "Mac OS X Ver.10.6.3.

You may be able to upgrade to 10.6 Snow Leopard (Apple no longer provides updates of security for such archaic system) to El Capitan v10.11 > update of OS X El Capitan - Apple Support

No matter which OS X is installed on a Mac in 2009, it shouldn't take a minute to start, but it is not as fast as a new Mac either.

Minimum of Photoshop is v10.9 (Mavericks) or later version, so it should work on El Capitan 10.11.

With v10.11 as el Capitan installed, you can buy the Pages app for writing documents. It is available on the App Store for $19.99.

  • Z600: New to me Z600

I just finished setting up my new to me Z600 with 2 processors E5640 and 18 GB of ram (said the pub 16 GB but she actually had 3x2gb and 3x4gb).

I already did some reaseach on this forum and I got lucky with the latest version of the motherboard. I have 48 gb of ram on the way and plan to discover updates as funds allow.

Couple of things, I am curious about at this stage.

    (1) the LED on the power button does not light upward. I saw refernce to this topic somewhere and they have may be burned. Unless there is a BIOS setting I'm missing that seems to be the only plausible cause. The machine seems to work as it should.

    (2) I'm missing the top trim of the grill and the rear handle. In my view, it was mounted in a rack. Its a minnor thing, but I would replace it if I can. I came with P/N 536605-001, is this correct? I found one on ebay with a suspicious image, anyone know any other source (I tried)?

You clearly have this well-studied.  Here is some info for you (and others in the future):

1 part HP numbering system includes two Assembly and buy spares parts for the same exact point numbers and you can sometimes find better for article on eBay or elsewhere in the knowledge of both.  For my Z600, the part number on the label on the cable was 468625-001 REV:B and it is the same as 536305-001.  This is the cable that manages the switch with blue LEDS attached, the son of the speaker system and the thermal sensor in this single cable.  You can't buy just the switch itself.  The Revision B may indicate that HP including how to keep the LED lights goes... it's nice to have this Visual indicator because I put my workstations to sleep, and it is useful to know their status like that.

2 replacing that Assembly cable requires more digging deep you might be comfortable with, but it's doable.  I marked where the clips were before you cut them with a marker Sharpie on the metal under the lid of the... practice right panel to back things together.  The video CV on how to do this is HERE.

    http://h20464.www2.HP.com/Media/730DD9A1-B5D6-4CFA-A950-C630D70C3073/nav_FRU_video_powerswitchassembly.htm

3 cursor sets the Z600 and the perhaps Z620 suffered some fine-tuning by HP from versions prior to the last, but I 506601-002, 536311-001, and those 663074-001 and they seem to be interchangeable in practice.  Good deal on this one you got.

    4. great buy on this SSD... these workstations are generation SATA II and is therefore only the version of the Intel SSD.  If it's HP or besides I never had a problem with these 320 series.  They have some internal capacitors integrated to enable automatic saving of data if power failure, unlike the X 25-M series.  Be sure to leave about 20% of the unused capacity for better performance (overprovisioning).  Set the TRIM to run once per week via the Toolbox Intel software, and I don't think that that wakes you up a workstation to run TRIM, but not sure on that.  Thus, it is better to put it for when you are going to use the workstation, usually.

5 memory... you are already ahead of me!  6 sticks of the same memory is the key to better performance.

    6. the transformer: I mine officially maxed out with 2 x X 5675, running under the heat sinks "Mainstream" that accompanies this Z600 (they run at 95W each and Mainstream heatsinks are noted for this too).  Apparently, unofficially, the MHz 3.46 X 5690 can roll with the Z600, and I a Z400 running with one of those too.  However, warmer 130W TDP max missions and require the 'Performance' for the Z600 heat sinks that are quite expensive (as are the processors).  You can adapt a Performance of the Z400 radiator in the a two spots just Z600 bend down the bottom rear air deflector slightly, but the other processor socket positioning requires the official version more expensive Performance Z600 to adapt.  Fans are wired identically for Z400 and Z600 performance of heat sinks, so the motherboard does not know the difference if you use this method to save money.

7 Behold my summary of W7Pro64 WEI.  With 2 X 5690 processors in the processor and the memory of the scores we 7.9.  The X 25-M works a little faster and in this box it will get 7.7 score and rarely reliable, 7.8, but he capped in size to 160 GB and does not have the special capacitors, I mentioned to protect data in power outtage.  I stick to what I showed here... very fast and capable workstation:
