• Amazon kindle device default reset after purchase

  Recently I started to have a problem (in the last week or two). I put my Amazon kindle device default. I buy a Kindle book. The default kindle device is reset (none of the devices are the default). I deleted the cache and history. No effect. Tried on another PC and got the same error. Tried in IE and no error - device by default are still together. If there is something in maybe the last version of FF, which causes this setting by default to lose? (I was not able to determine exactly where the Kindle device default settings are preserved, but it seems to be in the browser, as FF doesn't and IE works on my PC).

  1. were you able to connect the camera to your computer as soon as possible?

  2. have you tried to connect by using a different USB port?

  3. don't you make changes to device settings before the show?

  2. What are the permissions you are talking about?

  3. are you able to run other programs?

  4 are logged as administrator?

  5 did you a recent software or changes to the material on the computer?

  I suggest to uninstall and then reinstall the software and check if the problem persists.

• Amazon Kindle on Surface - problem with highlighting using pen

  When I try to use the (original) stylus Surface Pro with Amazon 80% of the time when I select something in a book, the Surface Pro jumps as if by magic to a different page.  This problem is reproducible constantly and is not serious if the app or browser of the Kindle version.

  What is my pen?  I have yet another defective Surface Pro?

  Nothing but trouble with my Pro Surface.  This is my second.  I wish that Microsoft just give me a replacement Surface Pro 2 instead please.

  I got a tip from a friend who has a Surface and noted that the latest versions of the Amazon Kindle do not always work with the pen from the digitizer.  I downloaded a version of work much earlier of the Amazon Kindle, and everything seems to be better.  I go to work and struggle with this material.  I think my return period has spent too much anyway.  Sigh.

  Not at the moment. Adobe of Touch applications require a minimum Tablet Android compatible running Honeycomb 3.1 or higher and a screen resolution of 1280 X 800. More info in the FAQ of Apps Touch. I believe that the Kindle Fire has a screen resolution of 1024 x 600 and runs a modified version of the gingerbread.

  I was able to use e-print to print on my Officejet 4630 using my Kindle Fire HD tablet.  However, I succumbed the same Kindle Fire HD print on my HP Officejet 1512 using the same e-print application...  Keep in mind that the 1512 connects to my network wireless using a USB cable.  Please offer a solution or workaround so I can print from my fire on the 1512.  Thank you.

  I guess that you are referring to the model HP Deskjet 1512?

  The HP ePrint app support network connected devices only, the 1512 Deskjet is not supported as a single USB printer.
