AMD Radeon 8670 graphics card does not not on my 15 laptop n259tx win8.1 Pavillion

I recently bought the laptop above and tried to play games, but I get error that my graphics card drivers are either not installed correctly or that they are missing completely, I had installed the drivers from the driver AMD autodetect tool. Earlier I had installed the AMD drivers from windows update, but the problem persists. In the game, I get error not enough memory, unable to change the graphics and display settings. Game gives me an error message about update my graphic drivers from AMD.

My computer laptop specifications are-(dxdiag)

Please tell me that I need to install drivers or what I should do to work my AMD Radeon card.

Hi DevangS,

If you use GTA 4, which would actually be the problem. According to PC system requirements for GTA 4 it is only compatible with Windows Vista and Windows XP. Also, the game requires a minimum of a processor clocked at 1.8 GHz and your model has only 1.7 GHz. You try to run an older game on the wrong operating system with hardware that does not meet the conditions required for the game. Change the BIOS or the net won't help with this question.

    Hi Lyle,

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

According to the description of the problem your graphics card does not support the Aero themes. If you experience a problem then you need to update the drivers.

Drivers are updated occasionally. Windows can update automatically, or you can install the drivers updated yourself. It is important for you to have confidence in the updated drivers that you install. Windows warns you if it detects a suspicious or dangerous driver, you should not install.

Try to update the drivers from the link provided below and see if it helps you to solve the problem.

  • Try to install the video card. Integrated graphics card does not! (PE T110 II)

    Hello

I tried to install a video card in the x 16 slot PCIE (ASUS Radeon 5450 Silent). I read on the Board that this video card has worked for others with the T110 II.

I turned off the computer and unplug the power cord.

I installed the video card in the x 16 pcie slot.

The VGA cable is connected to the integrated VGA.

When I turn on the computer, my monitor receives no signal. I tried to access the bios to change the settings of the embedded video controller of standard to distributed. Unfortunately, I am unable to see anything on my monitor, it gets no signal. If I try to connect the vga graphics card it shows a screen black nothing else.

The integrated graphics card works again once I remove the location PCIe video card. The integrated graphics card does not work while the video card is connected.

    I 2.8.0 bios version.

I can hear the computer starts, but I don't see what is on the screen, I'm not sure if the bios is starting.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

  • Graphics card does not not after reinstallation of windows 7

I just did a clean install of windows 7 and it seems that my graphics card does not work. It is not in the Device Manager and my screen will appear swollen and I can't solve this with screen resolution that I only have 2 options. I have a laptop Asus K52J with a Radeon Graphics HD637OM card. Windows 7 Home premium with service pack 1. Was working fine until I removed the original windows 7. I tried to download the Radeon drivers, but they come with a compalibility problem.

Go here http://www.asus.com/Notebooks/Versatile_Performance/K52JE/#download select your OS, expand the section VGA. Download and install the ATI graphics driver. Most laptop video drivers from the laptop manufacturer and not the video to a chip.

While you're there, you might as well download and install all the other drivers that are not up-to-date.

My 740 gforce graphics card does not work in my HP Pavilion HPE h8-1205, please help

    Supaman4040, welcome to the forum.

I think that your problem is related to the BIOS.  The 700 series video cards require UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard BIOS.  HP didn't start using UEFI in its motherboards up to mid-October 2012.  Your computer was released January 25, 2012.  You must contact the card manufacturer to see if they have a VBIOS update which will allow the card to work with your computer.

  • What does that mean? -This problem occurred because your graphics card does not support the required version of DirectX. This version of Windows requires a DirectX 9.0 compatible video card or newer.

I tried viewing a presentation power point and got to page 2 and my computer crashed.  Thought on... what he did previously trying to display a PPP file, but I thought that it was not my computer to the actual file.  now I have my doubts and also this time an error message came that said... This problem occurred because your graphics card does not support the required version of DirectX. This version of Windows requires a DirectX 9.0 compatible video card or newer.  can someone tell me what I should do next?

You left out which version of DirectX has been shown.

As far as I know, your Intel 945GM should support DirectX 9 and because you have XP sp3, you must have at least DirectX 9 installed.

I met the following, but it shouldn't apply to Powerpoint:

Some such as the Intel 945 GM Intel video cards have a design limitation which may cause problems when you try to run the Source Engine games. 3D graphics kernel does not support transformation of material, light and the vertex shader to similar technologies, which is an important part of the pipeline of 3D acceleration. Instead, this functionality is emulated in software that can reduce the compatibility and performance with 3D games.

I don't have a solution for you (assuming that DXDIAG, in fact, reports to have DirectX 9 or higher).  You can see if you install a new driver support, but if it were me, I would be first contact Acer technical support or ask your question in another forum as one of the following conditions:

    Intel graphics Forum: http://communities.intel.com/community/tech/graphics
Forum PowerPoint: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/powerpoint (select the corresponding forum for your version of Powerpoint).  Include the results of DxDiag, including the version of DirectX.  If there is something unusual about the image that causes the crash, include this info as well.

Normally, for notebook/laptop computer, it is better to get the drivers of the mfr of computer rather than the manufacturer of the device.

Acer drivers for your computer are here: http://support.acer.com/us/en/product/default.aspx?tab=1&modelId=535 (you want the Intel VGA for XP driver)

Intel has a newer driver: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Internet+Devices&ProductLine=Netbooks&ProductProduct=Mobile+Intel%C2%AE+945GM+Express+Chipset+Family
It's the main Intel support page: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/highlights/graphics/945gm

It may be interesting to try to go to support
site Web of MFG. your video card and
search for course Windows XP Compatible
    drivers.

(FWIW... If your computer is a laptop... check
the manufacturer of the comput4er one
    updated video driver)

If you do not know the make and model of
    your video card... check documentation
    supplied with the computer.

Also, you can try the following steps...
    Reach... Start / run... type...
    Msinfo32... Press on enter.

    On screen Information System... Choose...
    Components / display...

You should find the make and model of your
adapter display as well as the version of the driver.

If the driver on the Web site is no longer
    current than you run...
Download and install it. Also, you should find
and follow the installation instructions on the
