AMD Radeon HD7470 with two monitors

Hello

I have an Optiplex 7010 with an AMD Radeon HD7470 card with 2 connected screens: a 23 "monitor connected to the HDMI port with HDMI/DVI adapter, and a 17" monitor connected to the DVI port with DVI/VGA adapter. Despite the 'strange' way to connect monitors, the image is sent to two of them. Problem is I managed only to have the image duplicated on both screens (with a single resolution, which makes the strange image on the 23 "), but I needed to extend the image, since 2 applications must be run at the same time but on different screens, so I can watch both at the same time. Also, when I go to display controls on the PC, a single monitor is recognized. Is it possible to have PC recognizing both screens and to be extended, so I can put different resolutions on each monitor and have applications open on each screen?

Hi Luigi1967,

Driver AMD Radeon HD7470 must be installed in order to have the multi-screen work display correctly. Are the drivers of your computer up to date? If this isn't the case, please download and update the drivers from here if your computer is Windows 7, Windows 8 download the drivers from here. To know exactly how to update the drivers to watch this video.

I hope this helps.

just bought a new HP Pavilion p7qe with a graphics AMD Radeon 6450.  How 2 DVI monitors? I tried a digital dual link DVI, of no separator. I ordered a multi hub adapter, DP DVI 3 screen... who do not work.  Help!

    Hello

The Radeon 6450 on your PC has three ports; DVI, HDMI, and VGA according to the configurator.  Please check this information.

You can use a DVI cable to HDMI. www.pccables.com you can think of an adapter (DVI-HDMI).  I do not recommend adapters because they add more points of failure.

  • Three monitors on two AMD Radeon HD7470 video cards

I just got a Minitour OptiPlex 9010 with 2 dual AMD Radeon HD7470 1 GB graphics cards.  When I placed my order, I told them that I wanted to connect three monitors.  The VGA port has been inactive for other video cards have been installed.  I've been on technical support for more than three hours, when they finally decided to send a tech.  He was released the next day and told me that I needed a split adapter.  I ordered an and he hung up but there was showed the same jobs and I was unable to make changes to the resolution, etc.  Video cards have a DVI and a displayport.  I can connect a DVI monitor and others in the displayport and the monitor then third on the second video card?  Or can I just add another video card to the Tower?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

    Hi pbondcb,

You must connect the first monitor to the DVI port and the second for the DisplayPort on the first graphics card. The second monitor must be connected to the DisplayPort with the appropriate cable. You can connect the monitor third DVI port on the second graphics card.  You must enable the display via the Catalyst Control Center under Windows, using the Eyefinity function. The third monitor works only in Windows.

I hope you find this information useful.

My original system was connected to a HP 2310e monitor using DVI port on my GPU (AMD Radeon HD 6570 (TransAM)).  I found a HP W2371d monitor to use as a second screen, bought an HDMI cable that I had planned to use on 2310e and then use the DVI port on the w2371d.  I can't get the 2310e to detect the graphics card HDMI signal.  It is this card manages two monitors?  Second, the my hypothesis is correct, that I'm ok to go DVI to DVI on the W2371d monitior and HDMI to HDMI on 2310e monitior?  3rd if 1 and 2 is OK, am I missing somewhere, or do I need a driver update?  Thank you!

I tried the methods described in the attachment that you gave me.  It seemed that he would work for a second.  Turn the computer off, tied the two monitors, turned on the computer and got the window startup screen on both monitors, then both became black.  SAT, wait a few minutes to see the login screen - nothing.  Unplugged the monitor with the HDMI cable and the monitor with DVI cable up to connect.  Plugged the cable HDMI back and connect the DVI screen goes black and the HDMI animated.  Went to the Catalyst Control Center and created an Eyefinity display group and followed the instructions and have now both screens to work.  Thank you

  • I have a HP h8-1010 and it is supposed to be compatible with two monitors...

But there is only one port for monitor (DVI). I don't really understand this... There's an HDMI port as well, but is that what he meant when he supported two monitors? There are other ports, but they are covered and say 'do not remove. " Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Hello

Your monitors are DVI - D and VGA.

Use a DVI cable to a monitor.

Use a DVI cable to HDMI to the other monitor.  www.pccables.com has what need you.

Both monitors will now operate digital which is the best quality.

  • Some subtle problems with two monitors on Windows 7

I used two monitors with your Windows 7 Desktop for quite awhile and I just had to replace a.  This is a problem which is probably easy to fix, but I don't know how to do it.

I figured out which monitor, I wanted to just in front of the keyboard (the larger one) and that I wanted on my right.  The new is more.  They both work very well, but there are two problems:

    1. the office and the taskbar are in the older monitor to the right - I do not know how to move.

    2. the mouse is confused.  He considers that the monitors are in the reverse position.  In other words, when the mouse is moved on the screen to the right, I have to move it OFF THE RIGHT EDGE OF the SCREEN to enter the screen on the left.  I know that I can get used to this, but I'd rather not have to.

    Thanks in advance.

Right-click on an empty space on the desktop and choose "Screen Resolution."

(or Panel of-> screen-> the resolution).

Above under 'Change the appearance of your screens', you should see two icons of the screen display.  Simply slide one on the right to the left of the icon on the left (so that they switch positions). Then press "OK" your way out.

To select the screen that contains the task bar, select the icon for this monitor in the same screen as above and a small box should appear below the "Multiple displays" line that says 'Make this my primary monitor '.  Just check this box and OK your way out.

  • SX2210T-touch screen with two monitors feature

Solution found by the user ES128 for touch dual monitor.
I've just set up a configuration of dual monitor with a SX2210T and a ST2220T on Windows 7. I got the touch features work correctly on both. As a first step, affecting either translated the entry only on the primary (the one that has been in primary school at the time), but after playing around with the settings I got work like I wanted. I tried several things, but I think that the right thing to do is go in the settings of the Tablet PC from the Control Panel window and press the Setup button next to "configure your pen and touch poster» There you will be asked to each touch screen and you're done. 2-point multitouch works on each monitor, but not both simultaneously. At one point, I went that one would be regarded as primary, and which caused the hand on a single monitor to take account of the other and vice versa. Following the same steps above again not straightened it.

    Screen touch troubleshooting.
    * Disconnect the 2nd monitor of the PC. Restart the PC so that it only displays one monitor in Device Manager. Depending on your operating system, do the following: -.
    SX2210T Driver (Windows 7 only)
    SX2210T-Touch Application
    SX2210T-Touch Cam
SX2210T facial recognition Application (no not necessary, only if you want)
    * Test the touch screen on the single monitor feature.

I hope someone can help me with this problem of Photoshop CC. I use two monitors, the left one for my tool palettes, plugins, layers, etc. and the right to display the image I am train in full screen. After the upgrade to OS 10.10.4 I now a toolbar at the top of two window (this may have been the case before, but I've never had any problems until 10.10). When I work on an image the toolbar at the top of the right screen activates and controls the keyboard and Wacom buttons do not work unless I click on the other monitor (left). Needless to say that it's a pain in the thigh. Is that what I'm stuck with or can it be turned off?

BTW, I have a Mac Pro desktop computer.

It does sound at least somewhat as the landmark white window behavior fixed, but I thought that this was not a common problem with the latest OS updates.  I'd be inclined to try if

  • USB 3.0 docking station pro with two monitors

I have an E550 connected to a dock, Pro USB 3.0. To get two monitors working, I got a VGA plugged into the laptop to a monitor and a SVGA from the platform to the other. I want then to the main display on the second.

But I can drive both monitors of the dock? It is not clear in the manual if this can be done. I suppose that if I hang a HDMI VGA adapter to the dock, I can then drive the first monitor from the dock too?

I can confirm that it works.

A DP/DVI for dock first monitor and a DVI/DVI for the dock to the second monitor gives an extended through the two display.

    Try this:

Right click on a box empty office.  On the left, click Customize display settings.  In the monitor window that opens, you should see your two monitors.  Who is that clicking on identify monitors.  Click and drag the right monitor left to the left of the original left screen and release the drag.  This should change the positions of the two monitors so that the movements of the mouse must be as you wish.

  • Problem with 5.2 and Terminal Wyse (P20) view with two monitors

    Hi all

I'm having a problem with our Wyse P20 terminals after that we went to view 5.2.

When a user connects first on the main screen comes on, but shuts down the secondary image and your hear Windows 7 constantly 'detect' a device - the sound when you connect a USB device.

If I put out the Terminal voltage and plug everything is OK. It seems that if you connect at the beginning there is a problem, otherwise if the user is already "connected" and simply reconnect everything is OK.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Hello world

Just solved the problem with the help of VMWare.

The problem was 'Basic Video' has been selected in the Configuration of the system > Boot > boot options - it doesn't have to be selected.

NOTE: The problem with multiple monitors would happen with other devices and clients (ie: Customer View under Windows), so this is going to solve the problems on these customers as well.

Hello, on the Panel of Wacom preferences (from your system preferences), it is possible to configure the screen area that the Tablet is mapped on tab "Mapping" that you then need to deselect the screen area: all the, and then set the screen area to use.
