An SSD is compatible with the iMac 21.5 late 2012 (13.1)?
Hello!
I have an iMac 21.5 late 2012 (13.1). I want to change for one SSD HARD drive. Before you buy the disc,
I wanted to know if there is some kind of compatibility issues or any new SSD works perfectly.
Thank you!
Any 3.5 "SATA drive should work, SSD or HARD disk.

InDesign cs6 still not compatible with the iMac 5K, his frustration that adobe is not fixing this issue! Perhaps a strategy to move to Adobe CC? I have urgent need to know how can I run the application correctly.
It will never be updated for InDesign CS6. This has been discussed to death. Adobe updated the CS6 applications that she could update. Illustrator and Photoshop come to mind, so your conspiracy theory is incorrect.
InDesign should be re-written from scratch due to the difference in the way it was designed.
Your choice is to live with it or move to creative cloud.

I use Firefox for several years on my G5 iMAC, running MAC OS 10.5.8. This morning, Firefox does not open. Tried to open it from the icon in the Applications folder, but does not always. Safari opens without difficulty. Tried to download Firefox again, thinking a file might have been corrupted, but new version is not compatible with my hardware of desktop computers. I find a compatible version of Firefox? My NAV for MAC security software is not interfering.
- Versions of Firefox 4 and later do not run a Mac PowerPC.
- Firefox 4 and later requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.

For a non-official Firefox 4 compatible version (TenFourFox) which works on Mac PowerPC with OS X 10.4.11 or OS X 10.5.8, you can consult:
Firefox 3.6.x (Mac OS X 10.4 and later versions) can be found here:

Mid-2009 MBP memory is compatible with the iMac late 2009?
Hello
I just upgraded the memory for my MacBook Pro (from 2 X 2 GB 2 X 4 GB)... I was going to sell the used memory space but realized that I might be able to add to my iMac late 2009. How will I know if it's compatible? Currently the iMac only has 4 GB as 2 units but is expandable to 16 GB and has 4 slots available.
Forward a response and thanks in advance.

"Adobe Creative Suite 4" is always compatible with the o/s 10.6.8 iMac. ? Can I REINSTALL the application from the original disc I made originally in 2009?
CS4 must remain consistent with the requirements of the System 10.6 | Adobe Creative Suite 4, products of Point
If you can't install it with the disc, you can download the installation files and use the serial number of the disc to activate it.

This external hard drive is compatible with my iMac 7.1?
Hello, I intend to update my OS X, but first need to buy a hard drive to back up my files. I found this one, but I don't know if it is compatible with my iMac mid 2007. Can you please advise me if it will work?
The external hard drive is this:
1 to, G-Drive Mobile 5400 RPM, USB 2.0, 2.5 in.
These are my computer specs:
Model name: iMac
Model identifier: iMac7, 1
Processor name: Intel Core 2 Duo
CPU speed: 2 GHz
Number of processors: 1
Total number of cores: 2
L2 Cache: 4 MB
Memory: 1 GB
Bus speed: 800 MHz
Boot ROM version: IM71.007A.B03
Version of the SCM (System): 1.20f4
Serial number (System): W8 * X 85
Material UUID: *.
I know that USB 2.0 will be very slow, but I don't mind. I've only used 1.4 GB of space on my computer anyway.
Thank you

In General, external hard drives are universal, so they will work with any computer. The particular drive you say should work perfectly.
http://www.g-technology.com/products/g-drive-mobile-1-TB-bus-powered-hard-drive
You don't even have to format it because it comes pre-format for right of Mac Out of the box.
Given that your Mac has only USB ports 2.0, he "does get a USB drive 3.0" Also the read speed of the internal hard disk will be always much slower than the speed of the USB 2 bus, so no need to have extra speed on the connection, you will not be able to use. You probably won't notice it in any way.

I have a MacBook Pro 17 withProcessor - in 2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo (circa 2007). Running OS 10.7.5 (Lion). System indicates the computer is not compatible with OS later. Hardware can be upgraded to the latest processors and other components to make it compatible with the latest OS. I think that later models of Macbook Pro 17-inch with processors that allow updates. I was wondering if these can be swapped or if alternatives were available.
Only the RAM and storage (HD, SSD) can be changed. Everything is welded to the map logical and selected specially for the system configuration.
I'm sorry.

HP iq 504: what SSD is compatible with my PC?
Hi, someone told me upgrade my HDD for SSDrive will boost the performance of my computer. I think of buying an SSD for my computer, I have an all in one computer HP IQ 504, its has been slow but still doesn't work and can work normally when optimzied. My question is, am not really sure that SSD is compatible with my computer and I don't have that a budget of $300, is there a good SSDrive I could buy for $100 - $ 300? How do I know if its compatible with my PC? This is the computer I use at the moment: http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-TouchSmart-Desktop-PC-series/3733137/model/3752238 is an all ine one pc, I bought 6-7 years ago and now I have window 10 operating system installed on it. Thanks for any helpful answer!
See pages 12-22 of the manual here:
Your computer uses full size 3.5 inch wide disc as with a desktop computer. SSD are 2.5 inches wide and thinner. You will need to get a 3.5 inch to 2.5 inch adapter and an SSD. But any current SSD model works perfectly and your budget is a lot to get a good. A 500 or 512 GB SSD is now less than $200. I have remommend Samsung 850 Evo of the SSD line.
Any other questions you do not know can have. If you need help moving or reinstallation of the software let us know. It is a good time to do this with Windows just out 10.

El Capital is compatible with the MacBook Pro version 10.10.5? Can anyone help answer this question before I update? Thanks in advance.
Why did you start a new post? Post again only after only 8 minutes accomplished nothing.
There is no general problem going to EL Capitan on your Mac.
Some applications may require updating.
Some devices like printer may require the updated drivers. For some readers of devices not being updated are available.
This is the Office Mac Pro forum. I asked that your post be moved to the El Capitanforum or another appropriate forum.

How can I return to a version of Firefox that is compatible with the Norton Toolbar?
After that I have updated to the latest version of Firefox, the Norton toolbar is disabled. I would go back to a previous version that is compatible with the Norton toolbar. Can I do this?
For security reasons, it is preferable not to decline to 40 Firefox. I could refer you to this thread for a more in-depth review and suggestions: screwed up why Firefox NEW Norton Internet Security?
