Analog input for NI EVS-1463RT loging

Hello
Im trying to connect an audio input OR EVS - 1463 RT (LabVIEW RT App). I thought that the audio input behave as "analog input" for example DAQmx Device.

Is there a driver to control the acquisition on audio input NI EVS-1463RT? I need only to connect the sound signal and save it for the next treatment.

Thanks for the replies

Jan

In LVRT there is absolutely no way to use these audio jacks. I think they're working on the Windows version however.

Pins 1-2 are the same as ai0 and pin 3-4 identical ai1 or is it the opposite? CSC Quick Start Guide, or the User Guide for the series AI CSC CSC Configuration Guide have this information. Hi Louise,.

Page 6 of the User Guide and specifications shows a block diagram.

    http://www.NI.com/PDF/manuals/371066d.PDF

On the right side of this diagram, you can see that the E/M material inputs DAQ series is AI (X) or As (X + 8).  Since these modules are modules of conditioning, signals, they do not in reality a measure, they simply affect the signal so that you can take a measurement by the DAQ hardware.

I (X) will be the channel that you specify on the DAQ hardware (for example, entry zero analog channel).  If you perform a differential measurement, spacing must be eight apart, and HAVE (X + 8) will be the other side of the signal that connects to your DAQ hardware (in this example, the channel analog input 0 + 8 = 8).

Please let me know if it helps.

  • How to use 1-channel analog input for start/stop aquire sample second channel input analog?

I have a little problem. I've just been programming in labview for 2 weeks.

I'm trying to figure out how to use my channel of analog input on the USB-6009 case for start/stop (reference trigger and start) presented to the second analog input channel samples.

I need the first analog input string to operate continuously and control sampling on the second.  When the second channel will start sampling program brings a new graph each time and saves it (I have all this that figure out).

How can I configure the trigger so the lance program presented in for the second channel when the 1 channel reached above 2V (e.g.) and stop when it falls below 2V.

I use a pressure force sensor on the first channel that gives me straight (up to) 5 V when it is pressed and nothing when it is not...

    Thank you.

    Grand... Thanks for the information!

But can't I then make a 1 channel instead and wait until that meat of the max element value?

  • How can I display an analog input for the PXI-5105 on LabVIEW?

    Hi all

I am very very new to LabVIEW and I started to tinker with it. I use the version of LabVIEW 2010 SP1 on Windows 7 OS. I also have the chassis NI SMU-1073 with SMU-6361 and PXI-5105 modules and the chassis is connected to my PC via PCI. I became familiar with the devices and trying to see some analog signals to one of the channels on the PXI-5105 module in a graph in LabVIEW.

  • Best analog input for portable computer device

I have a Sager laptop and CS5.  When on the road, I would have the ability to import the VHS and other legacy formats.  Any suggestions?

As long as your willing Sager of a FireWire connector (my other more ancient the fact), or has an ExpressCard for a FW controller card, I strongly suggest the Canopus/Grass Valley ACDV-110, or the big brother of the 300.

  • 6009 outputs digital and analog input synchronization

    Hello

I work in a program NI 6009. I want to leds by car with outputs digital NI 6009. For example, leads first will be on until what 200 micro seconds then second led will be on up to 200 micro seconds, and then first of all led will be on up to 200 micro seconds. I'll take led with photodedector signals and connect analog output photodedector input NI 6009. I want to synchronize the outputs digital and analog input and separate the first and second led signals the analog input for NI 6009 channel. How can you do with NI 6009? Please ADV

You can not do with the USB-6009 case. Its outputs digital are software with a maximum speed of slightly more than 100 samples per second. The outputs can produce 200 microsecond pulses and cannot be synchronized with the analog input.

You need a device with outputs digital hardware timed or counters that can produce a pulse outputs.

You can synchronize a bit digital output and analog input recording signal on an additional channel to HAVE. Will allow you to see the photodetector and LED the drive with the same schedule and such resolution as described by the sampling rate I. The maximum sampling frequency of AI on the USB-6009 case is 48 kHz that is shared by all channels. If you have two lights to led and photodetector two signals maximum sampling rate would be 48 kHz/4 = 6 kHz which is barely fast enough for your 200 US signals. For more than 4 channels, it won't be fast enough.

I suggest a simple oscillator circuit building and use it to clock a flip flop. This will give you alternating signals to drive the LEDs. You can use a line to reset the flip flop to give you control without the need for high speed.

  • Medium-sized dynamic data analog input read DAQmx read

Hi, I'm new to labview. Is there an easy way to index using the dynamics of data returned by a readout DAQmx x samples to calculate a moving average? My thought was to read the analog input for X samples pump with the data in another loop through the data, but I can't quite understand how index using the returned data set to extract the measurement value double returned for each sample.

    Any ideas on that?

    Thank you...

If you get a type of waveform data, why did you ask on dynamic data? No, of course not would you use the conversion of dynamic data on a waveform.

If you want only one channel, then your DAQmx Read could be changed to 1Chan NSamp. If your channel list only has one channel, you will get a table 1 d with a single element that can be indexed. To get the average of a waveform use the statistical function with the waveform. You use the average Point by Point, and not the average function that has a table for an entry.

Make sure you always have context-sensitive help on. You can avoid many of these rookie mistakes simple.

  • can you have set for the analog inputs points

If you install an analog input can you get set points that trigger an alarm or an engine that allows you to enable or disable

In SignalExpress you can use alarms to trigger recording on and outside:

Alarms Page - help of LabVIEW SignalExpress

Regarding disabling engines, SignalExpress is not intended to control applications.  For controls, you should use LabVIEW or entirely a VI in LabVIEW, SignalExpress.  To do the latter, you use a LabVIEW VI step in SignalExpress that will run a LabVIEW VI that performs control of treatment and the output you want.  This way you could work in the SignalExpress environment for all the acquisition of data, and you should only use LabVIEW to program control VI (or screws).

  • Synchronize the clocks of 2 PCI cards for analog inputs with e/s digital reference

I'm trying to synchronize the clocks of reference of 2 PCI cards so that the analog inputs are synchronized. However, my appilcation has also digtial e/s on two cards, and who apparently made the mistake DAQmxErrorResourcesInUseForRoute_Routing. This discussion describes a similar problem, but the solution was to just put the reference clock to the slave device, who had no other tasks running on it, so what mine does.

Is there way I can synchronize the clocks of refernce without interfering with the digital I/o?

    Thank you!

PS: My application is in C++.

The reference clock is really a lower-level component that is shared by all resources on a given device.  All tasks on a given device must use the same reference clock.  So if you use DAQmxSetRefClkSrc for a task, you can use it to set the same value for your other tasks.

  • analog input on USB-6009 - what potentiometer to use for this test?

What is the resistance (ohm) the potentiometer used in the film?

They know the author of video ...

Since it is connected to the output of 5V to the DAQ card, you don't want to use too low of a low value.

A pot more of 500 ohm must work safely. Exact value is not critical for this demonstration. Rear wiper terminal must be connected to the analog input, the other two legs go 5Vout and GND.

  • iMac with Thunderbolt - how to get the old analog inputs

I hang up my old Mac Pro in 2005.  I used it to record video cameras and mainly music best of my plate rotating and stereo system - vinyl and CD disks via s-video and RCA cables and Firewire for Mac Pro.

The iMac 27 "new is primary Thunderbolt and I can't find a Thunderbolt conversion box so I can enter my analog input RCA and S-video signals.  No indication on the Thunderbolt converters 'both ways' I can't exit analog in the iMAC, then the iMac as well?

They certainly run Final Cut Pro X on the iMAC, then how people get their old media and music in the machine?

I'm about to talk to the local Apple store, but the chances of finding someone who knows what they are talking about with the iMac, Thunderbolt and analog input is going to be a stretch.

    Al Donn

    You can probably use a converter DV firewire as a Canopus ADVC 110 http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O= & sku = 349146 & gclid = CLSF0_qUnswC FQ8vaQod9VkFFw & is = REG & ap = y & m = Y & c3api = 187... and then an adapter firewire-crush.

  • Input signal is set to +/-0 .5V when it is connected to an analog input

    Hello

I have a difficulty connect an analog source to the analog inputs of my acquisition of data (USB-6215). The analog signal is output operational amplifier through a 10 k resistor. I wore the signal out of the amplifiers is 10V peak, I then move the probe across the 10 k (the analog input terminal) and the signal is clipped to +/-0 .5V. If I reduce the amplitude of the signals of source less than 0, 5V Ridge there is no clipping.

Maybe the analog input range the value +/-0 .5V which is causing this as a form of protection? I don't have a LabView to try to change the input range as I do just the wiring.

Analog source is connected to him HAVE 0 and the ground of the analog source is connected to the GND AI.

    Thanks in advance.
