Analyzer memory?

Hi all

How do you perform tasks analysis plugin eclipse BB memory? I think that my application has a memory leak, but it works well on the device. It may be eclipse plugin bug or my code, so I really need a Profiler. If you think 'use breakpoints' - well, I have tried of course, but how do I get the info about memory leaks by using these breakpoints?

This is the post of 3rd (!) that I managed to answer by myself

In fact, now I use memory analysis and profiling tools, I just need to understand the data. The process is not very obvious, but follow this: http://docs.blackberry.com/en/developers/deliverables/12002/Generate_profiler_data_656010_11.jsp

Don't forget to press the yellow button updated to receive data.

    Hello

After a lot of testing, I finally found what slows our ADF application, I was unable to have more than 200 concurrent users in daintiness of our ADF application. I made a report analyze of the heapdump 'Eclipse-Analyzer' memory, and here are the results:

    Loaded a single instance 'oracle.security.jps.internal.policystore.JavaPolicyProvider' of ' Sun.misc.Launcher$appclassloader$ AppClassLoader @ 0x1971c738 ' care 395,790,808 (62,10%) bytes. Memory is accumulated in a case ' oracle.security.jps.util.ReferenceMapFactory$ SoftKeyHashMap ' support of ' Sun.misc.Launcher$appclassloader$ AppClassLoader @ 0x1971c738 '.

I found this post from December ' 09, where someone is having a similar problem. Unfortunately, I have not found any related on metalink.

    https://community.Oracle.com/thread/2142245

I added the recommended the managed server JVM settings and my results are better.

    -XX: SoftRefLRUPolicyMSPerMB = 100 - XX: + ParallelRefProcEnabled

So, no don't know what could be wrong in my application to force me to have theses settings?

    I have

    -XX: SoftRefLRUPolicyMSPerMB = 100 - XX: + ParallelRefProcEnabled

It seems that there are only two solutions, the addition of these two parameters -XX: SoftRefLRUPolicyMSPerMB = 100 - XX: + ParallelRefProcEnabled but I have the impression that they consume a lot of memory when users are connected (but memory is published when they connect) or using JRockit.

We decided to move to JRockit, since it does not have this problem, and it is more efficient.

    Thank you

  • After the effect CC 2015 - KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE (memory dump)

    Hello

As is obvious, I had a problem after installation of AE and it gives me a blue screen with a message above (KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE). It seems that there is a failure of memory between AE and another software or driver. So I analyzed Memory.DMP file with WinDbg and gave me a result below.

As you can see, I discovered, file dxgkrnl.sys with AEGPUSniffer.e process of do a memory crash. I have to say befor installation AE I uninstalled drivers for my graphics card (Geforce and Intell) and installed a pilot seller directly but AE has a problem with DirectX. (my edition of DirectX is 12)

Here is the Configuration of my system:

Laptop: HP with a UEFI Firmware (start secure power off)

    Windows 10 edition 10586

    RAM: 16 GB

Graphics cards: Intel internal (1 GB) and dedicated Geforce GTX (4 GB)

CPU: 2.3 GH core i7 (quad core and 8 logical processors)

    HARD DRIVE: 1 TB

    All drivers up to date

Well, any help will be appreciated. If there is no any way to make it correct, can I do it just with a new edition of EI or will be the same?

  • Unrecognized RAM upgrade - HP Pavilion DV9628nr

Hello! I recently updated my old Windows Vista 32-bit, HP Pavilion DV9628nr to a configuration of SDDR 2 x 1 GB for a 1 x 1 GB, 1 x 2 GB configuration, waiting for my RAM available for increase of 2 GB to 3 GB, but that's my BIOS or my system properties seem to take account of the change (I finished analyzing memory BIOS boot successfully). I did this because as I understand it, the 32-bit Windows System I'm running can recognize only 3 to 3.5 GB of RAM upgraded anyway, while I was trying to be economic. Is there a problem when you use an old 1 GB SDDR wand in a slot and a new 2 GB of SDDR stick in the other? I reinstalled the new stick in both slots, without success. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello:

It is either poorly labeled or screwed up somehow.

I would certainly return it and get another.

If the replacement does not work, try a different brand of memory, and if it does not, you have a strange problem with your PC!

  • Can I install windows7 64 bit on hp pavalion 2000 2116tu. is it a 64 bit system?

    Hello

I would like to know if it is possible to install Windows7 64 - bit os in HP Pavalion 2000 2116tu. Is also the system's 64-bit architecture.

    Thanks in advance

    Anish

    Hi, Anish:

Depending on the product specifications on the link below, you can install a 64-bit operating system, but I would recommend that you upgrade the memory of at least 4 GB before installing a 64-bit operating system.

    http://support.HP.com/US-en/document/c03354595=

Your product indicates that you can install up to 8 GB of memory.

I even think that the laptop can handle 2 x 8 GB of memory.

Run the Analyzer memory crucial free to confirm how much memory you can upgrade to.

  • Windows Vista (x 86) NetIO.SYS BSOD me HELP!

Whenever I use uTorrent to download, I get the BSOD, usually this happens when you listen to music with WMP 11.

I formatted my PC and reinstalled Vista Home Premium and happens again, OMG!

I changed my BIOS settings for optimized def and again! even on Ultimate SP2 happens, OMG!.

WHAT TO DO! ? It always happens even if I leave my PC alone for a few minutes! OMG!

    Hello

    1. don't you see 0x000000D1 on BSOD error code? If not, what is the error code?
    2. using a single processor or a computer equipped with multi processors?

This occurs usually after a driver for a third-party network adapter is installed. NETIO.sys is a driver file.

We recommend that you uninstall the driver of network adapter in the Device Manager and allow Windows to install a generic driver. To do this, follow these steps.
    1. click on start, type devmgmt.msc, then right-click on devmgmt and click Run as administrator.
    2. from the list of objects, expand network adapters.
    3. right click on the sub elements and click on uninstall.
4 restart the computer for changes to take effect.
    5. once the computer is restarted, windows will load the generic driver.

Make sure that your computer is up-to-date.

    I hope this helps.

    Kind regards

  • AVG says using too much memory because multiple firefox is open, but I only see one.

AVG regularly analyzes in the background. Lately he has demonstrated a popup window that says multiple applications of Firefox are running and using too much memory, so I should close some. But I can only see 1. Tried CTRL ALT DEL to see if I could find the answer, but only showed 1 firefox, and that he used more than 28 000. So I think that AVG is correct, but does not know how to see what who or where they are. They DO NOT display in the lower menu on the main screen, so I guess they are in the background. Do not have the virus, and Firefox, regularly updates itself. What should I do to fix?

    Hi cmich80220.
It is true, that you should only be able to run only one instance of Firefox at the same time. I searched but could not find someone else with a similar problem. If the problem comes back to Firefox running slowly, you can consult this article for troubleshooting:

  • Problem of memory on my Tecra S1

    Hello:

My Tecra S1 has been used for more than 4 years and returned to replace one of the RAMs because of the callback activity launched by Toshiba about 3 years ago. A few days ago the OS (XP) becomes very unstable and crashed. After playing with him for a while, I realize that the RAM modules have a strange problem.

In the past 3 years, these two Rams as well as the other very well, but for some reason they become incompatible type. A reminder of Toshiba activity is 256 MB DDR333, and the other is 512 MB DDR 266, which I've updated by myself when the laptop had just bought 4 years back. If I use one of them, no matter what slot, XP works great, but it becomes crazy and keeps sends me blue screens when I try to log into XP and keeps restarting by itself, if I put the two together. Moreover, I use Memtest86 to analyze the two Rams, and it has no error message about them.

Anyone had a similar experience? or any suggestion will be appreciated.

    Thank you very much.

I had a similar problem on my old laptop. The portable frisottés and a BSOD appeared from time to time.
I replaced the modules because I thought one of them would be failures, but I was wrong a slot was faulty.

But I don t think that your locations are memory may be faulty there is a compatibility problem between the different modules and therefore the BSOD appears.

It might be desirable to launch Notepad with two100% similar modules

  • Generate a digital waveform like memory on PXI cards

    Hello

I'm looking for a way to send a large digital waveforms using a PXI digital signal generator. I saw DIO HS cards, but their memory is smaller than the files that I want to transfer. My understanding is that the PXI backplane bandwidth 132 MB/s. So, I shouldn't be able to stream a digital signal from the memory of the card that is slower than the CPU? For example, 50 Mbits / second (equivalent to only 6.25 MB/s)? However, I think I understand after reading their textbooks is that you cannot continuously transmitting a large waveform of the processor memory file, you must transfer the file to the memory of Council first and then transfer that out.

Does anyone know if there is a way to have a flow of digital signal generation card an arbitrarily large directly from memory to the processor of digital signals? Or, what is the fastest card of pxi digital signal generation that does not require the storage of Council first files?

    Thank you

    Isaac

    Hello Isaac,.

Take a look at the following area developer.

NOR-HSDIO Stream from disk (generation) using Win32 file IO

Note that you will not be able to take full advantage of the maximum rate of update HSDIO devices, because the data must be transferred in a bus.  Some other considerations are the width of the data as well as the HSDIO device you select, which may depend on other requirements not related to the size of file or waveform (for example the standard voltage or whether you need hardware compare).  For more information, take a look at the developer following items area.

  • "no memory to perform this operation? Help.

    Hello

While I was running an explicit signal project, a window pops up that says "no memory to perform this operation" and "memory is full" in the power spectrum. Then he paused data collection. I wonder where I can set up the maximum memory and let express signal capture much data that I need. Thank you.

    Ningyu

You push the limits of what can do SignalExpress.  You acquire data points about 8 million (internally, it is integrated 64MBytes, since they are arrays of doubles).  Analysis carried out additional copies of data (the originals must be kept for future use).  To do this, we need to minimize copies of data.  You have several options, in order of complexity:

    1. Take your data and store it in a file for later analysis.  Thanks to the acquisition of the data streaming into smaller pieces (10kS in the 100kS buffer) it would be easier to do using the SignalExpress integrated logging mechanism.  When you have finished to acquire data, analyze point by point in a different project, using the log for the entry.  This allows you to cut your use of memory by a factor of eight or more.  Note that the newspapers (which is a binary format - TDMS) can be converted to ASCII, if you wish.
    2. Your input file have specific areas of interest?  You can generate and analyze in pieces.  This isn't my first suggestion, as a power spectrum can be easily generated with segmented data (it is possible and National Instruments sells software for it, but it is not included in SignalExpress).  However, if you can live with ghosts of different power of different regions, this may be an option.  You have not included your file to generate, so I can't speculate further.  If you do so, back up your data to each piece.
    3. If you have LabVIEW, you can rewrite the project relatively easily here (the entire analysis is available as screw).  LabVIEW allows to optimize the memory at a much lower level that the Signal Express (see the tutorial Managing large data sets in LabVIEW, for example).
The R & D department is aware of this problem of memory and strives to do better.  It is a question with many facets, so generally gets progressively improved with each release of SignalExpress.  If you would like more information, please let us know.

  • FPGA an internal software error occurred. writing of memory

    Hello world

We encounter an error during the compilation of an FPGA VI. It is probably related to our use of block FPGA memory. We have a non-timed while loop which is reading a host-target FPGA FIFO and writing in memory block (inside a Subvi called z_scan_write.vi). In another loop (this one is timed loop), there's a Subvi we called z_scan_read.vi, within which read us of the memory block.

Does anyone have an idea what goes wrong and how to avoid this problem? Thank you very much in advance for any suspicion!

The full error message is as follows. Note that this is for the two subVIs z_scan_write.vi and z_scan_read.vi...

We could solve the problem. It was actually caused by the fact that we had set some subVIs to not reentrant. Their semifinal implementation (with the option to clone preallocate) solved the problem.

  • Analyze the text and identify which columns contain unpaired data

    Hello world

I want to write an elegant solution in LabWindows-CVI to accomplish the same thing as what I implemented in LabVIEW.

The client does not use or do not own LabVIEW.  I have to code the solution in the CVI.

Order to simpify the explanation of what it is that I try to do, I wrote a small example in LabVIEW (see below):

The code needs to parse a string to determine which data column includes unpaired.  To do this, I first removed the unwanted text on the top and bottom.  I also removed the extra space between the 2 groups of data by replacing the two separated by one to facilitate the next step.  The result string has been converted to a table 2D-string.  Only the columns you want to search for remained (total of 16 columns).  Table 2D has been transposed as the table 1 d of research searched each line, I want to look in each column.  2D table transposed in its entirety was sought of all no corresponding values, which fills a table 1 d of boolean.  I converted the table 1 d of boolean to a number to see if data 'no match' has been found.  If none have been found, the value would be zero.

I need help to encode this in CVI.

    Thank you very much

    RayR

Ray, aspect string makes me think that it's a memory dump, while I designed a solution that analyzes the values of the whole of the chain and operates on them, instead of working on the string itself. Take a look at the attached example which should be what you're looking for. feel free to add comments or ask for clarification on some instructions if you need.

  • Wire terminal in diagram of Sub - VI Analyzer

When I run the VI Analyzer I get the following results

Class wired in diagram of sub-

That terminal control 'path of the log file' does not reside on the upper level diagram.   To avoid memory copies useless, control and indicator of the terminals which are wired on the part of the connector must be placed on the top level diagram.

This brings me to the question-

Should the control terminals are located outside the case Error statement or between the case of the error and the case of the state machine?

VI Analyzer is pleased that when the terminals are outside the case of the error.

    Jim

The 'proper' method is to do like the VIAnalyzer.

  • Leak memory in cRIO running RT

I am running RT 2009 on a compact chassis of RIO.  My very basic VI causes the RIO to restart, which seems to be linked to a leak memory.  I use system monitor and you can watch the use of memory on the chassis of RIO grow very slowly.  Attached is the project and the target VI is pretty basic.  I even made the change to close the refence that opens when analyzing data, but I still have this persistent problem.

    chOff,

The next thing I would look at, it's how you use the "allocate Array for entry Module.vi.  Based on the help of this function and this reading, I don't think you are using it correctly.  I'm sure it is planned to use this function outside the main loop.  Your vi called repeatedly in the loop.  Whenever you call, it allocates another segment of memory.
