Android Market - Antivirus programs

So, are they necessary? Are there really viruses based droid? Or they just slow down your phones?

There are currently no reason for AV on an Android phone - or any smartphone platform. Right now they are just a waste of money and will probably slow down your handset.

If you start to install apps from unknown locations, then you may put malware on your device, but AV usually used to take it either. Install applications on the market with good reviews and you should be reasonably safe.

  • IPhone 3GS Best Antivirus Program/Protection

I heard a lot of rumors on how IOS does not really need an antivirus because the software application is quite sure just within himself. Even if I have OCD and I am always worried about something. That being said what is the best Antivirus Program (free) that I need to download for the safety of my Iphone 3GS. Even if I could not ever having a virus problem or whatever the cause. It is just a type of "peace of mind" of the thing im dealing with.

It must also be free software because I have no money to invest in the purchase of a request right now.

Please someone help me to find what I'm looking for.

May God bless those who can help me understand my situation.

    Thanks again.

There is NO antivirus program for iOS. Because iOS does not privilege any sufficient demand to see what is happening in the operating system or install apps. Your 3GS is safe. There is no need and that you can not use an antivirus.

    Hello

One of your antivirus programs? You should not have two or more on the computer much
less running. They load the pieces themselves at startup and interfere with each other
which can actually reduce safety. If its best uninstall all but one and run the removal
Tool or look for the special removal for these deleted instructions.

  • Android Market since the Reset problems

All trying to solve another problem, I reset my phone using the data reset option in the privacy settings Menu. Now after resetting, I find the Android Market with a different style and presentation than before.

He used to have an option for "My Apps" when I pressed the menu button. Then from there I could also go to a settings menu where I select the different sides of the apps that would appear on the market.

Now when I press the menu button, I have an option for "downloads". It lists the apps I bought and downloaded. But there is no menu parameters and no options for different sides of the apps that would appear on the market. My kids love to play with my phone and I would rather hide "Mature" apps

No idea what can happen and how can I get the old walk back?

It should update itself after a reset. Try to go to the market and download any application. Then, wait a bit and go back. If she has still not updated you can try to delete the data, this will reset the market once again and you should see the old market after again. Let it sit and then close and wait. Try to open later.

  • It is better to have two antivirus programs to be sure?

    original title: MS Security Essentials?

I am now under Webroot Internet Security complete and I was wondering if I have or should run/download MS Security Essentials? I read somewhere that it is better to have two antivirus programs to be sure. What should I do?

    Hi Richard,

Contrary to what OU a course, you must have a real-time protection anitmalware/antivirus program installed on your computer. Major reason being disputes between two to treat an infection. However, you can have other scanners on request, indeed since no antimalware/antivirus software is 100% sure I'd say at least one to increase daily or weekly scans with your resident security program.

Microsoft Security Essentials offers protection in real time for your home or small business PC that protects against software viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

If you Choose Microsoft Security Essentials cleaning/unistall this guarantee as well as programs of real-time protection previous using tools and methods remove properly.

You should also consider how to use the Microsoft Safety Scanner(similar to MSE, but it is a self-contained/not installed scanner)http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Online scanners are also good second opinion option. My preference is ESET OnlineScanner.

Another recommendation is free WinPatrol. Although not a software program anti malware/antivirus in the usual sense of the term, it monitors your computer and landlords of any changes to your system that could be associated with malware. It can be run in real time with other products without conflidt because it does not take immediate action on the issues.
