• XPS12 tapping noise headphone jack

  Hello

  I bought a Dell XPS12 for a few months now, and recently I have started to use the helmet.

  When I plugged the earpiece, the noise coming from the earpiece was choppy at first for a few seconds, and then it became 'tap... tap... tap... tap... ». I tried to just turn the volume up/down and 'tapping' got a little stronger. Now, whenever I plug headphones in, the sound coming out of the listener is always "tap... tap on... touch... tap...» "(and not audio normal, not even the default of Windows). No matter if I chose "Speaker" or "Helmet /headset" on the pop-up window.  I tried the headphones on my phone and the earpiece is not working properly. Does anyone know why XPS12 helmet for this? This could be a hardware problem?

  FYI, the Realtek Audio driver version is the most recent of the Dell Support (version 6.0.1.6704) website. My version of BIOS A05, model is XPS12 9 Q 23. I run the Diagnostic Test (F12 key, 4447 Build), but he has only a speaker test (and not a test of the helmet). The speaker works well, but the headphone jack is not. I tried several options in Dell's Audio software, but none has helped... :-(

  Fred, if you re-install Realtek driver and the problem persists then it's a hardware problem. When you re-install the driver it resets the default configuration settings, if you eliminate the configuration as the cause of the problem and the cause is not the driver itself, otherwise it would be more prevalent.

  Alternatively, you can remove the Realtek driver entirely (to aid in the control panel "Remove a program" or "programs and features"). By removing the Realtek driver you force Windows to install the native driver on restart. If the problem persists with the native driver who also confirms that it is a hardware problem.

  It seems that the model number of the earphones supplied with my Walkman is MDR-NWNC33. This is the noise canceling headphones with a mini plug with five surfaces of contact. When I do a search for this model number, I get no results.

  The MDR-NWNC33 and MDR-NWNC20, both seem to support the built-in noise canceling feature of the new Walkman players.

  Can someone please send a link to how these two models of headphones can be ordered with parts of Sony?

  Version the most recent Photoshop 2015.5 CC is not connect with any app connecting remotely. It doesn't with Iphone, but only on the Androids.

  Bought the Y50 because it is decent spec for video editing (which works well), but - can not get the external microphone to work.

  Tried a headphones/mic adapter.

  Tried all the different settings in Realtek HD Audio Manager

  I tried Control Panel / its parameters - this allows me to use the ' Mic in towards the front (black), even if it's on the side of the laptop - the volume indicator shows a signal comes from the microphone.   But - I can't get any software on the laptop to record really any external microphone signal, what I need for the voice-over.

  Update

  Feel a bit of a numpty - the microphone works now - whenever I tried to hear the recording of the test and I got the silence - that as a failure - I just needed to unplug the microphone from the socket to allow the speakers to play confused recording. Read white noise headphones - must deal separately with this!

  Thus, the headphone splitter adapter is the key.

  IM using after effects (CS 5.5) as an editing tool for my video, which is 15 minutes long.

  My settings komposition: 2158 px x 1728px (3 x DV-PAL format), certainly very great.

  The composition has 102 layers whose only 4 layer Max play both.

  When I do a RAM of 15 seconds of the movie preview, the noise fades work correctly.

  But when I make a film out of it, the sound fades are not accurate. Why?

  I tried several export settings, but non of them seem to solve the problem.

  Looks like you are using After Effects as a Publisher. It is not really designed to do. Allows you to create shots or short sequences of AE and you change into a NLE such as Premiere Pro. The audio tools in After Effects are also very limited.

  Your image size is also very strange and according to the compression format can give you some of the problems you are experiencing. If you served all memory and cache before making a RAM Preview and then purged all again before rendering and you provided to a codec that supports the size of your image (h.264 MP4 does not), then it is very difficult to tell exactly what is happening.

  If it were my project I would have started the project in Premiere Pro and only used After Effects when I needed to make the effects or composites that could not be done in AE. If you have about 100 layers and most of the time 4 of them is visible at once and your video is 15 minutes, and then the average comp would be hard about 36 seconds. It's still plenty of time for a model of EI.

  If you want to keep all the work you have done in After Effects, my suggestion would be to try to make a separate audio file and make sure that works very well. If all the rest of your render is okay and that you have made to a production format and not in a highly compressed distribution format (MPEG) then you can then create a new project in Premiere Pro or AE and add your rendered movie and your new audio track to the new project, disable the audio in the movie and audio that fixed you. If you lost to a compressed format then you could select your original model in the project Panel, create a new composition of the original model, disable audio in the timeline panel, and then add your repaired audio file.

  If you can't get a good audio track I would set the work area to the portion of the project where the audio works and made audio only from the parts that work and then mix the tracks at the hearing to get your audio final.

  Hi, I have been looking for a solution to this problem and found that not using the Realtek HD Audio Manager/B & O stop audio popping. The problem with this driver is that it makes the card its close after 10-20 seconds of no audio output in order to save battery power and to our advantage, there is no way to disable this "feature". What you mean, its break-up, is similar to the helmet being handed over to since the restart of the sound card. I see that the audio is not as great after this fix. To do a choice so audio sacraficing a little quality to not burst or better audio quality and popping. I found these steps of the forums hp here, thanks to SteveCT99.

  1. Go to the Windows Device Manager > sound, video and game controllers section.
  2. In the list of the audio device drivers, look for Realtek High Definition Audio.
  3. Right-click and select disable. Down arrow on this driver, indicating it is disabled. (NOTE: at this point, you will not be able to play music files.)
  4. Right click and select Update driver software.
  5. Select Browse my computer for driver software.
  6. Select Let me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.
  7. You should see a window that says Select the driver to install for this hardware device. NOTE: If you see a window that says something like This is the best driver for this device, close the window and repeat steps 4, 5 and 6.
  8. In the scheme box, select Audio device high definition (this is the device driver audio substitute) and click Next.
  9. In the Update driver warning window, click Yes. You should see a confirmation with thehigh definition Audio Device display window. Click on Close.
  10. In the list of drivers of audio device in the section audio, video and game controllers, you will notice that the high definition Audio device now displays instead ofHigh Definition Audio Realtek.
  11. When prompted to restart, click Yes

  I have a new A60 (although three or four weeks) I work in the industry of music and must deal with music on the laptop. Everything has been fine until trying to empty to an analog audio output device. Digital noise is incredibly strong! Its there all the time but just touch the double mouse pad the amount of noise.

  With a headphones only sound, but not too visible through a preamp, well well its just unusable.

  Is anyway around this or should I empty the A60 and buy a ThinkPad?

  I would like to send this message directly to Sony. I bought these headphones of your not so long ago, and not sooner than later, one side does not work. Now I don't blare the volume, so I usually wait headphones/headset to last me a decent amount of time.

  I opened the side that wasn't working, and I found a very avoidable error. The two wires that connected to the real speaker have been merged when I took a peek. I had to apply a decent amount of force to get them out, leading me to believe that they were firmly melted on the other. I guess that this caused a short circuit and that's why she damaged the Platinum that I don't know how to fix.

  * Side note, these two sons had MANY showing bare, which leads to a few options for reduction of the volume limit, or find a more durable coating material.*

  I bought this laptop some time ago (3-4 months). Don't worked fine, no problems at all. Used VOIP (Skype), etc.

  Then I started having strange noises of frying (speaker and headphone).

  And now - after a month or two, I started having this problem - I can not record voices.
  This laptop isn't microphone with microphone. tested the microphone with another laptop, it works fine.

  Reinstall the driver did not help. :(

  If the technicians have tested this laptop and didn t find any abnormality of speaker then everything seems to be ok.
  You said you play bad music. I think you mean bad quality music.

  I recommend reinstall the operating system, because I noticed a similar problem on my laptop and after a fresh install, everything was ok.

  Just something that can help others - I recently Preview in the BIOS and disabled startup secured, as well as activate debugging USB in an effort to solve my problem of not being able to recharge the Tablet by simultaneously connecting USB OTG devices. Not had any effect how to solve this problem, but instead introduces another problem.

  After that, I lost all the sound elements of the headphone plug - instead, I have only heard comments and interferences.

  I suspect that this fact was to activate a data output that technicians headphone plug type can use to debug and diagnose problems.

  So they are pregnant Dell with standard 3.5 mm USB powered plug (* and even the green port plug in as shown in the picture)?

  Therefore, the USB plugged into the port in the back of the computer for power to the speakers?  Try a different USB port - just to see if the chosen one does not provide the necessary power.

  Make sure that the speakers are turned on and the volume is turned all the top (to the right).

  Make sure that the sound output is not cut on your computer (plug in the headphones to check what you mean by them.

  Plug the 3.5 mm of the speaker to the green port on the computer (see photo above.)

  If you don't hear sound... Unplug the plug 3.5 mm and touch something metal - static electricity?  The speakers become power at all?
