• red lines in speedgrade for EXRs of first preview

  Hello

  I'm trying to implement as much as possible a linear workflow using EXRs within our portfolio.

  Our 3D pipeline includes 3DSmax (export EXRs) to Nuke to computer and then hoping to be able to export EXRs as final to read in the first model. This is achieved using the ProEXR plugin.  There are some problems of Gamma in the first LUT (compared with Nuke) Viewer, but it's something that we deal with at the end of Nuke.

  The big problem is when I send the Speedgrade using 'Direct link to Adobe Speedgrade' project with 3 files including an EXR (using ProEXR to read first) the EXR has red lines through it makes little useless to make any correct classification should be. The other 2 files (Jpeg and DPX discovered very well).

  

  

  I am based in a PC running CC 2014.

  Any ideas on what it is and how it can be treated?

  Hey John, it was a bug with ProEXR that appeared in this particular circumstance. Basically, the record (including the trial period) was not get checked in SpeedGrade and you saw the watermark of an expired trial. I posted a new version that fixes the problem, please give it a try.

  I noticed one thing, it is EXRs entering SpeedGrade this way works differently from those you are importing directly into it. The final aspect is applied with a LUT on the front that operates in the video space, clipping dressed values. Take this into account when you explore this workflow.

• Pink & red lines vertical & horizontal with mini box?

  Your code is the colorful stuff, not the grey matter. More colorful stuff is under the bar, more your code runs. Your code looks good here.

  You run with 31% of your budget by image 25ms (he says in the summary Panel). 25ms is 1000ms/40 fps.

  The red line represents the desired SWF frame rate. This is usually set when you create the SWF file in Flashpromanager.new, FlashBuilder, or other tools. It can also be defined as directly in ActionScript code. Because yours is at 40, you must have already established it somewhere.

  You must watch the gray bars. Represents grey time waiting for the next frame, not the time spent running your framework. Grey is good. If you don't see any grey below the red line, your code takes too long to run in this context. The gray bars show you the actual intervals between each image. In your case these are alternately above and below the line. If you select a range of images, you will find that the average lies at 40, but each individual image will be more or less. The flash player has an internal algorithm on average these intervals to make your desired rate. The player prefers rate divide evenly into 60, 60, 30 or 15.   I have a portable Satellite P850, which is under warranty. I have two problems, one with the laptop with Toshiba (or maybe me)

  1. the screen of the laptop has developed a red line in the middle. It's still there even if is more noticeable on some backgrounds than others.
  It doesn't seem to appear on my TV when I use the HDMI connection but it's always on the laptop screen image.
  It doesn't matter what software I use and which is again on the initial screen, the one with the flying saucer on a stick? I don't know what to do about this. Any suggestions please?

  Have you noticed the same sense on s to laptop screen?

  I think you should check the different HDMI cables and should check the HDMI settings and the different ports of the TV, even if the HDMI cable works very well with the PS3.
  The fact is that these lines does not appear on the TV using the VGA port and VGA cable so it has something to do with port HDMI, TV or the cable.

  In addition, you should check if this issue would be reading different movies from different sources (HDD, DVD, etc.)

  I agree with Richard. There's probably graphics card failure. If the same behavior occurs during the starting procedure, the graphics card must be exchanged. I mean the motherboard together. ;(
