  Is it possible to change the legend of default text in a specific font and size.  When I record, it works very well, Captivate keeps my 18-black police.  But when I manually add text captions, the size goes back to another font size of 10.

  Sorry to be a little late, I work with Captivate 5 all the time now, almost forgotten some features in CP4.

  The default layout for the text captions that you chose, is possible for text captions that appear during capture. I think you point to editing, preferences, default record?

  When you manually add text captions, there is not such a value by default (as it is now with the object to CP5 styles) but you can achieve your goal in two ways:

  1. Change the TC first you want, CP has a memory and all following captions that you add will have the same layout. This function even memory when you open a new project, the last remembered formatting will be applied.
  2. If you want to change the layout of all the existing legends (but this does not always work perfectly), try the feature "apply to all".
  3. Create a template with properly formatted text captions and use it for your projects
  4. Apply a design template.

• Good way to put in shape a date when the display object in a datagrid control

  Hi all

  I have a datagrid that displays a collection of ArrayCollection of objects having a Date property.  I want to format the Date property to display in the form DD/MM/YYYY.

  I made it like that.  Is there a better way?  This seems a bit complicated and wordy.  I was hoping I could just apply an attribute to the property of the DataGridColumn, something like "displayFormat" he said how to parse the date into a string.

  I produce WebHelps located in around 30 languages, including Arabic and Hebrew, generating help with RH7.

  My workaround to get the right orientation on the left seems to produce "acceptable" results, except our testers suggest that the navigation for the Arabic and Hebrew pane should be right too. I have not been able to figure out how do it.

  The success.html is something create you separately and reference in the form-to-email script.

• Many forms, even calculations-in any way to expedite the creation of each shape

  I create many forms in adobe pro 9 with the same calculations.  Each form when to convert word to PDF from adobe has only a few calculations.  I have attatched an example, but it's basically height x weight gives you BSA.  BSA x dose/m2 = dose patients.  All forms with have the same calculation, just different drugs.  Someone at - it a way to speed up the creation of forms of ~ 100. =)

  You can cut paste between Forms and calculations form fields will be copied on.

  You could also write the calculations as a function of document level that has the necessary values to pass as a parameter to the function, and the function returns the result of the calculation. You can insert a form that has these document in another form-level functions and features become functions of the new form document level and you can then delete the inserted pages and keep level document functions.

  The document function could be:

  function {BSA (nHeight, nWeight)
  calculate the index of BSA
  nHeight = Number (nHeight);
  nWeight = Number (nWeight);
  return Math.sqrt ((nHeight * nWeight) / 3600);
  } / / end of function of BSA

  The calculation for the 'low' field could then be:

  Event.Value = BSA (this.getField("height").value, this.getField("weight").value);

  What would be the best way to make a dynamic text and objects in your web site built in CF?

  I know that CF is not developer tool, and I probably have to use Flash Builder.

  I had a lot of demand for making web pages with parts that customers spend on their own.

  For example, they update the news on the page, etc.

  I probably didn't do any dynamic page.

  But what would be the best way to make an easy dynamic object on my site?

  Would be nice if I can solve this problem without using the database or a content management system.

  I know this question might not be directly related to CF, but as a designer I think that you guys can help me better.

  (Or at least push towards the right direction. )

  Flex can talk to any back-end, you decide to use, and it supports a variety of different data formats right out of the box.  Here's a good tutorial to get started (note that since this is Flex 3, there may be some slight differences in Flex 4, version difthe which creates of catalyst).  Here is a more advanced, database-driven tutorial (it's Flex 4 beta 1, once again, there may be slight changes).

  I can't tell you whether it is better to use a CMS vs one databcase vs another thing on the backend.  It's maybe a better question for another forum :-)  If you are looking for the simplest solution possible, I suggest to put some XML files on the server and extract the content of those (see first tutorial link above).  Your customers can then simply update the XML content files.

  Seems to work here (Pages of screen capture):

  

  Select (highlight) the text you want to change. Click on the Format brush, and then click Style. Choose the font you want to use.

  The example above is in the text layer. I also tried in a text box and a table cell.

  I also tried to change the font for a single word of a line of text in Pages for iOS. The police has changed to the selected word, while the rest of the line remained in the police, he had previously.

  Cannot test it in 5 Pages, because I have not installed. The above example is Pages ' 09.

  It is possible that you have applied to a paragraph Style, what would change everything in the paragraph containing the insertion point.

  Hi I am running some old programs exe based BACK.  Two programs that run one after the other, loop and redo (variables are modified for each loop) the first exe program requires the user to "press any key" to put an end (close window CMD.  When I start my VI using the sub - VI system.exe to run DOS programs I have to "Press any key" to close the window and leave my VI to continue a loop.  Or if I use the option 'Until the end', I find myself with a bunch of Windows CMD to close at the end.  There must be a simple way to "simulate a key shot" Plan B is to train a monkey to sit in front of the key board...

  It depends on how you shoot the Sun.   You're focusing a lot of energy in the body of the camera, and this can generate a lot of heat.  I have a friend who observed with a safe solar filter attached to its scope... but another Member (unbnownst him) not clipped the front cover from the dust of its solar 'finder' scope.  When he did the scope at the Sun, he immedaitely broke the sons of the cross in the finder and in just a few seconds he burned a clean hole in the rear Cap (imagine if your eyeball is trying to address the issue.)

  I put a solar filter on my 300mm f/2.8 to shoot the partial eclipse in last October.

  

  

  The filter was made by Thousand Oaks Optical.  These filters are really intended for use in the put telescopes can be put on the camera lenses.  For a filter to be safe for the human eye, it must dismiss 99,996% of the Sun's energy.  These filters actually block 99.999%.  They come in glass, a film 'RG' and ' Noir '.  Film noir is recommended for use with camera lenses, because the glass and the RG film resemble an opaque mirror and the 'mirror' like finish can cause undesirable reflections in the lens of the camera.  The 'black' movie will eliminate (or certainly reduce) all reflection.

  There are a number of companies that manufacture solar filters - for the most part, you will find the latter at companies that sell telescopes (e.g., Oceanside Photo & Telescope (OPTcorp.com) for example.

  I need to put a lot of (> 1000) hyperlinks in my indesign document. Is there a way I can add alternate text to links in Indesign cs6?

  My document is supposed to work like this: when a person reads the text and does not include an underlined word, they can click on it and it is brought to a dictionary into the document.

  No automatic way. The problem is that each hyperlink typically has unique text. Therefore, there is no way to really automate it. You can see a sanitation such as by Netcentric Technologies Commonlook product. It is generally used for the protection of the files for accessibility, but it may include the ability to more easily add the alt text in hyperlinks. It would be well done in the exported PDF file and still not in InDesign.
