Anyone with USB problems after recent updates Microsoft for Windows 7?
A couple of days my Logitech wireless mouse stopped working after my Presario CQ62-225NR restarted to complete the latest microsoft system/security updates, 4/12. Further investigation, external and thumb drives drivers were more or recognized. Here's what I managed to shine since the Device Manager:

You can disable the anti-virus software and check if that causes this behavior.
Temporarily disable the security software installed on the computer and check if the problem persists.
Disable the anti-virus software

Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.Method 4.If the steps above do not better work that you can do is to perform a restore system just before the point where the problem occurred.

Problem with the security sysytems update KB3110329 for Windows 7 64 x-based
Microsoft is aware of this problem with security update KB3110329 for Windows 7 x 64 systems? Have they fixed it? Thanks to John Butler to isolate the problem of configuration updates from January 12, 2016.
Bill Blair
Dear Jayant Gupta,
Thank you for your response. When I tried to install the updates from 12 January 2016 on my Windows 7 computer, I met a problem at the stage where I have to shut down the computer to complete the process. When configuring updates, he remained at 12% for a very long time and then permanently returned to the opening of session and when I checked the history update based on the x 64 updates eleven have been identified as having failed.
I ran to the resolution of the problems of Windows Update. I did not try to reset the Windows Update components for fear of making things worse. I see at least another user, John Butler, has encountered the same problem and he identified the update of security KB3110329 as the cause of the problem of configuration.
Later, I downloaded the updates again and hid and then successfully installed their KB3110329 leaving unchecked everything.
Currently, I have hidden KB3110329 and wait for the opinion of its repair.
Thank you for your help.

Anyone with crash problems today with the Muse?
Anyone with a problem of crash with Muse today? I worked all day, then it crashed on me three times whenever I was working on the text. Then when reopened claims made to date were made when I did not have any it also lost some content?
Accidents that you encounter are submenus of the menu police. We are painfully aware of this and is very actively working a solid solution and subsequent update.
There is no work around of 100% to avoid the crash, but you can reduce its frequency being very deliberate when selections in the font menu or a submenu fonts. If, at the time when you click, you keep the cursor of the mouse on the element even for a slow count of 1 before you click and never click on an item in the main menu of police that contains a submenu (a gesture that would be useless, but that would trigger the crash), which should avoid the crash in most cases.
We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Problem installation of update KB2556532 on Windows Vista 32 bit - stops configuration stage 3 of 3
original title; Problem installation of update KB2556532 on Windows Vista 32 bit
I had problems for the last two months trying to install the update to windows KB2556532. I have Windows Vista 32 bit.
I had a virus that has been cleaned of my laptop. It was windows recovery of fraud, and I don't know if this could have caused the problem at first, but after you have cleaned the virus always impossible to install this update.
She always says that it has installed ok, but then when the computer has restarted, it is located in 'Configuring Updates step 3 of 3..' he said then that the update was not installed correctly and is back from changes. Once the computer has booted I am prompted to install the update again. It continues in this loop.
Can anyone help me please with this. I can't online solutions for this problem, I looked for a few weeks to try and fix myself.
Unfortunately if this utility installs not it is not that there is something corrupt or prevent Windows to install correctly.
At this point you can try to contact Microsoft through these channels: https://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?gprid=11732&st=1 to see if they can provide assistance.

Recent update asking for permission to put on my camera and audio without my knowledge, what then? Does this mean that Big Brother or anyone who can turn my Audio/video and see what I do?
Firefox will always ask permission each time before the video/audio recording is turned on - then only you can activate it.
the authorization is used for technologies such as webrtc: https://blog.mozilla.org/blog/2013/09/17/webrtc-now-available-across-mobile-and-desktop-with-new-firefox-for-android-compatibility/

I get the error code 80073712 - windows component store is damaged - when you try to install windows vista SP1 and also the Cumulative security update to explore 7 (KB978207). Fails every time.
I followed the advice and installed the system update tool for Windows Vista (does this twice), but still cannot download and install updates - get error 80073712.
How can I fix the corrupted windows components store?
Thank you
Dan
CMDC,
If the SFC was not able to repair files then the best thing to do is to reinstall Windows. You can try running a disk error check, if it fixes all of the problems, and then rerun the SFC and then install and run the System Update tool. If there is still a problem with the SFC nto be able to complete then you should do a reinstall.Mike - Engineer Support Microsoft Answers

Since I installed the updated definition for windows defender-KB915597(Definition 1.21.1279.0) 03/03/09, I was not able to install the new updates. I don't know why, but none of the updates I have been install, or at least try, are installation and saying "Success" next to them. I've used different methods to dispose of everything, if I have any, virus and still have not seen any progress. And unfortunately, I deleted all my restore points to keep the memory on my laptop. I have too many errors, report them all, but some of the things I did to check to ensure that I have no viruses do analyses of the complete system and remove a mysterious software they gave me an alert by (using McAfee Security). Any help will be considered. Help, please! :(
If you install the hidden recovery partition to do the cleaning, you will probably not the product key. Otherwise, use one on the sticker attached to the computer. ~ Robear Dyer (PA Bear) ~ MS MVP (that is to say, mail, security, Windows & Update Services) since 2002 ~ WARNING: MS MVPs represent or work for Microsoft
