Apache 2.2.2 Jrun 4 WinXP - Apache connector problem.

I configured the external Web server using the Web Server Configuration tool. I recut all artifacts like httpd.conf, etc. Everything seems fine. I started JRun and Apache several times. "C:/JRun4/lib/wsconfig/1/mod_jrun20.so" is present. I can't get rid of the error.

I have no problem configuration. You must install httpd-devel to compile the connector...

I installed it in a multiserver under/www/bin configuration

In order to make it work with SELinux active, I had to do the following:
    CP /www/bin/jrun4/lib/wsconfig/1/mod_jrun22.so/etc/httpd/modules
    httpd_sys_content_t--reference=/etc/httpd/modules/mod_auth_basic.so /etc/httpd/modules/mod_jrun22.so
    httpd_sys_content_t u system_u /etc/httpd/modules/mod_jrun22.so
    setsebool httpd_can_network_connect = 1 Pei
edit httpd.conf to point to moved mod_jrun22.so module and put jrunserver.store in /tmp/

    Apache - 2.2.22

I took over a system that has been installed more than 5 years ago by people who have not worked in more than 4 years here.  I am new to the administration of the CF.

What I'm trying to do is to upgrade my apache but when all my come .cfm pages as code.  Looking at Articles and online help it seems that I need to edit and run apache_connector.sh, but the file does not exist on any of my servers.

    Can help you?

In fact I would appreciate it if you could give me a step by step on what I do.  Find everything what I head to install the CF and CF is already installed I just need to upgrade somehow connectors.

    Frustrated,

    Mike

Follow the steps for a same company of ColdFusion 8.0.1 and Apache 2.2.x on a machine separate from SUSE LINUX installation. Copy the file apache_connector.sh on your existing installation.

  • Oracle APEX Apache connection problem

    Hello

I have an interesting problem. I would like to install the Apache Server with mod_plsql on a server with at least another Apache server running. I thing it's an iSuites Oracle Portal. It doesn't seem to be an Apache Server installed on the machine in addition to the other server. I think that the iSuites server can be a server and report forms. I would like to set up 'my' Apache server to maintain my APEX development environment.

I know it sounds confusing, but if you can tell me what you need your help, I can provide the information.

    Thank you

    Charles

    Hi Charles,

I'm guessing what you have is actually an installation of server applications. Basically, you need to copy the images directory and configuration and the alias for her as well as descriptors of connection in the dads.conf file. The following post has some links that should help.

Oracle application server 10g and apex

  • Breakdowns of connector Apache on RHEL5

    Hello
I bet this question is asked a lot, but I can't find a very good answer. Installing CF8 on RHEL 5 is fine, but as soon as the server starts, the script of the apache connector fails. I checked the cf script - connectors.sh and script for apache - connector.sh and both show the correct pointers to apache binary and config service on the system scripts.

Is there anyone who can help me through this problem of script connector? Is there a way to tell why the script failed? I'm really burned on it and it took me 3 days of long nights to get it up and running. It is a 32-bit system.

Any help will be appreciated. In addition, I'm not a master of Linux by any stretch of the imagination. :)

Well I finally thought to it.

Problem 1: httpd-devel is not installed on the server
Problem 2: I had to manually modify the apache - connectors.sh to find script that the script to start/stop apache is not in the usual place.

After that I took care of both of those, everything worked for me! Thanks for all the help. :)

  • bad mod_jrun22.so architecture (CF9 and MAMP on Snow Leopard/Lion

I tried to set up a local development environment on the computers of my Snow Leopard and Lion.

I think that I have problems with the connectors, but the solutions that I have found online have not solved the problem. (The GUI was not able to create connectors for me either).

    I get this error:

I read that there were problems with the Lion, but I get the same results with Snow Leopard.

I also extracted wsconfig wsconfig.jar two different files and extract the installer of ColdFusion9.

Then someone has additional ideas on what direction take in order to create an environment are local?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

In fact, I had this problem last night. It seems that CF9 came not delivered with the 64-bit Apache connector.  I downloaded from here: http://www.scottpinkston.org/Downloads/mod_jrun22_64.zip (compiled by a developer, I know and I hope).

    Replace the /Applications/ColdFusion9/runtime/lib/wsconfig/1/mod_jrun22.so

    Restart ColdFusion and Apache.

If this does not work, then you must go through the process of the soul that I did.

    1. remove the JRun Apache httpd.conf config

    2 remove the wsconfig/1 folder

    3 al ' / ColdFusion9/runtime/lib/copy wsconfig.jar

4 rename the jar copied in wsconfigfiles.zip

4 unzip this archive, you will then have a folder called wsconfigfiles

    5. in this folder create this folder path wsconfigfiles/connectors/apache/intel-macosx64/pass-fail

    6. copy the new mod_jrun22.so you downloaed above in the prebuilt folder

    7. and then return to the wsconfigfiles folder and create a new wsconfig.jar with the command in the next step

    8 jar - FCM-META-INF/MANIFEST. Wsconfig.jar MF *.

    9. YOU do the command above in the wsconfigfiles folder

    10. you will now have a new wsconfig.jar inside wsconfigfiles.  Use this file to replace the file wsconfig.jar in/lib/runtime/ColdFusion9 / (create a backup of the original, just in case)

    11 restart CF

12 since/ColdFusion9/runtime/lib/executes the command in the next step

    13 sudo java-jar wsconfig.jar

    14. use the Web server configuration tool to configure a connection to apache

15 should work. Reboots may be required.

    Good luck

We have seen this issue, depending on how AD is defined. This means that the connector is not able to reach a few references.

An easy wrokaround is to use the port number of global catalog AD, instead of the default port of 389. The number of global catalog port is 3268.

Can you please go back to the connector user interface admin and click on directory, change the port 3268 and save. Now, try the synchronization again.

  • XAMPP

Hi I have a new computer and loaded all of my Dreamweaver stuff on it, but I have a problem with xammp it gives me this error

can someone help me with this please.

    Thanks, Jeff

I do not use xampp, I have wamp for windows.   When port 80 conflicts have arisen for one of my clients, it was caused by Skype, so we took away from Skype settings port assignments and wamp issues went away.

    Conflict XAMPP/Skype

XAMPP and Skype have a conflict. At the start of Skype (with default settings), it binds the ports 80 and 443 as listening ports. Even if you turn off Skype, it retains the port assignment and will not allow Apache to use port. The solution is to go in the Skype settings (Tools--> Options--> Advanced--> connections) and uncheck the listening ports.

    I hope this helps!

  • Compilation of sources each time.

Hello to my friends in Java.

Something sweet problem started happening recently, and I ask so few tracks that would lead me to a repair. When I ask my IDE to run one of my programs, I get the following result:
    init:
    Deleting: /home/owen/NetBeansProjects/CliqueSpace/trunk/AgentDevice/build/built-jar.properties
    deps-jar:
    Updating property file: /home/owen/NetBeansProjects/CliqueSpace/trunk/AgentDevice/build/built-jar.properties

    run:
I wonder why these files 90 source are compiled each time I want to start my program regardless of whether they have been affected, given that the last execution program. I guess it's an ant script, and it checks an addiction that I accidentally deleted or modified. I don't know too much about Ant (know how works of the Ant is not a priority), so a few pointers on the way to the 'Ant dependency mechanism' works in this case, so I can stop these 90 records compiled each time the program is run would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Owen.

    Hello Owen,.
There is a flag of Ant -v or -verbose , which will display detailed information, including the detailed resolution of dependencies rules, such as:

[javac] Test.java omitted as D:\classes\Test.class is up to date.
[javac] Unset.java added as D:\classes\Unset.class is outdated.
[javac] Compiling 1 source file to D:\classes

    (from manual, Ant http://ant.apache.org/problems.html)

But if you are working with a version control system, suits you, you should compare the current version, build files Ant with the most recent version not whenever recompile (since the problem only"recently").

    Kind regards

  • Problem connecting MySQL DW CS4

I know this has been covered at the front, but I have been trawling through messages for the last 2 days and still have not solved my problem.

I remember using Studio MX and Ultradev that establishment of a connection may be difficult. It seems that CS4 is all too little friendly in this regard. I know the settings I use for connection must be correct because I use them to connect to the database and view its files using a page coded manually with success. I tried to disable Kaspersky and Windows Firewall, to no avail. I noticed a difference between the php script that dw has tried to do and mine, I use mysqli while the dw version just talking about mysql. When I click on the Select button to try, and then select the database, I just get "an unidentified error has occurred" - about as much use as a chocolate fire - well made for the development team of dw for that Pearl of wisdom. Is dw trying to find my database somewhere where it is not located? I noticed that C:/InetPub and its subfolders are marked 'read only', but when you uncheck it, it resets the read-only - I don't know if this may have something to do with my inability to establish a connection. I managed to manually set up MySQL, PHP and Apache without problems, but it made me beat. Is this bad design in dw or am I just stupid? Don't answer that! Any help would be greatly appreciated because I know that there are many good things in dw if I could only make a connection (and I'm on a test with this 30-day) why should something that looks so easy be so difficult! Thank you, Mark

    Hello

Dreamweaver does not support the connection MySQLi (or AOP one). Check that your php Setup has the installed standard MySQL login script and use that for the moment, (don't know but maybe that CS5 will support MySQLi or PDO).

  • running php on the development server scripts

    Hello

I have server development Coldfusion and Apache running on my local host. CF is on port 8500, and Apache runs on port 80.

My remote host in plesk, I may add support for Coldfusion and PHP, is it possible to run PHP files on localhost:8500?

    Thank you

Sweet. I run this Setup on Mac 10.5.7 and it's awesome (PHP & CFML on port 80, that is).

The simplest solution is to reinstall CF as a multi-server and run the Apache connectors. Setup of Mac CF (8.0.1) most recent is "built" for Leopard, so it works well.

Mark Drew has a good post:

    http://www.markdrew.co.uk/blog/post.cfm/running-ColdFusion-8-on-Leopard

Aaron West also has an excellent post on CF 8 and Leopard:

    eopard http://www.trajiklyhip.com/blog/index.cfm/2008/1/14/ColdFusion-8-Apache-22x-and-OS-X-105-L

If you encounter an obstacle, PM me & I can help more (I have panic installed this $% & @ thing so many times)!

  • Installation on Linux 64-bit

    Hello all,.

I have been recently updated my servers and some trouble. I had Standard of ColdFusion 8.0.1 works great on Apache 2.2.11 on a CentOS 5.1 64-bit server. I got a new server, install CentOS 5.3 64-bit, then OpenSSL, Apache 2.2.11 and then tried ColdFusion 8.

First CF8 would not install because the httpd binary I build a 64 - bit, something I never had a problem with the front. So I recompiled apache with export CFLAGS = - m32 first, which made me a 32-bit apache httpd and ColdFusion would move.

As soon as I started the ColdFusion apache connector failed. I remember this problem of ColdFusion 7, but I don't remember ever having this problem with 8. I look through information related to 64-bit, and nothing works for me. I'm still stuck trying to compile the mod_jrun22.so to hand. Here is the result when I try to compile:

    / Error running "/ opt/coldfusion8/runtime/lib/wsconfig/1/build_jrun22": exit code was 1

The script/opt/coldfusion8/runtime/lib/wsconfig/1/build_jrun22 gives me this error.

Thanks for any help, here's a summary of my features:

    Hello

I had the same problem on a 32 bit CentOS 64 bit (v5.10) apache server.

I solved it by adding a parameter of 32 bits of the apxs tool, which builds the connector.

Hope this helps someone in the future. Please answer if he does!

    Hello

This is a new installation on a RedHat Linux Server Business 5. I installed ColdFusion 8. The web server is Apache. After installation, when I start coldfusion, I get the following message:

    Thanks again for the posts.

I found the answer. I don't have the htttpd-devel package installed on my Redhat Linux server. Once I installed that, everything falls into place. I am pleased to announce that the coldfusion server and the connector is in place and running. The real fun begins now.

  • ColdFusion 7 on Ubuntu

    Hello

I can access http://localhost/cfide/administrator/index.cfm, but it's the source code I see...
Interestingly, on http://localhost:8500/cfide/administrator/index.cfm, I get "unable to connect".

I edited the apache_connector.sh file according to the suggestions of a member of this forum in another post, running the script - apparently successfully - with no effect.

The error comes from cfmx - connectors.sh in the bin directory of CF. But I am unable to do anything "unfitting.

    Can anyone help?

    Thank you!

O, I just it is resolved.
It was simply a matter of rights.
In/var/www, there was a cfide directory and symlink CFIDE. The owner of CFIDE is "nobody", and when I use CFIDE in the URL, it works.
    That's all...

    See you soon.

I had the same problem with outlook 2010 and firefox 8.x in WinXP.
The problem seems to lie between Firefox and outlook.
Problem only appears when Firefox is the default browser. My vision is not no matter what plugin/add/market.

    Workaround solutions:
1 use IE as default browser.
2 backup Firefox BookMark. Then the latest version of Firefox uninstall, delete all settings in the Firefox UN-installing. Turn it back on. Finally, reinstall Firefox and restore the bookmark, and then make as default browser.

Problem always appear after you apply this workaround solution.
