• 2013: MacBook Pro replacement motherboard or not

  Brain Trust,

  I need some advice here.

  I have a 2013 fully bridged on (500 GB SSD, 16 GB of RAM) MacBook Pro and the sound from the speakers awefully distorted.

  I did all the regular troubleshooting inclusing a clean installation of the operating system, applications 3rd party and the problem persists.

  The distortion is NOT dependent on volume, it is still there, as if the sound is cut at all levels.

  Now, the headset on the port is perfectly clean, so I think I have it narrowed down to the (material) built-in drivers for speakers. I went to the Genius bar and they agreed and recommend a motherboard replacement. Since I have a month left my Applecare, I could do it, but I hesitate. Professionally, I rely heavily on my machine on a daily basis, and I fear that a machine otherwise perfect with zero problems (other than the problem of speaker) will be messed up.

  What is your experience with a motherboard swap and what do you recommend I do? Live with the distortion and contemplate a great Macbook, or opt for repair until the warranty runs out. NB, I have a very old Macbook that I can use for the week or I'll have to miss my machine.

  I'll answer my own question:

  Do it! I had a fantastic experience! Not only was my main problem, distortion in speakers, correctly diagnosed and resolved, since engineering also saw a small white spot on my screen (who had been there forever), I also had a nine screen. Not only that, I got a new valve and bottom plate, so after 3 years of intensive use, my Macbook Pro looks like new again. Total costs under Apple care program: $0.

  It's really the only problem with Aplle MacBooks: my excuse to buy a new went through the window, this machine will last me a few years ago!

• Cannot find my car with maps in iOS 10

  Although I activated the option to show my location parking there is no pin code to my car parked in Apple maps or in the notification window (cards destinations).

  I use an iPhone 5 with iOS 10.0.1 and connect the phone to my car via Bluetooth (not Aplle because play).

  It seems that your iPhone on iOS 10 5s is not allowing you to take advantage of the new feature, "find your car".  I'll be more than happy to help with this. Don't forget to try "Find your car" after each troubleshooting step.

  1. How to back up your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch - I highly recommend you to make a new backup of your iPhone to make sure your personal information is safe.

  2. reset the iPhone settings -, on your phone, go to settings > general > reset > reset all settings. This returns your iPhone settings to their default settings.

  3. use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - you will need to use iTunes on Mac or PC to completely erase your iPhone. In the settings of the iPhone doesn't that erase your personal information.

  First, select "Set up as new iPhone" and connect to iTunes and App Store and now iCloud. Retest "find my car". If she works continue with the last step.

  4. restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch from a backup - follow the steps described in this article to replace your personal information on your phone.

• Photo card printing problem

  I've used iPhoto before and had no difficulty to print a card using the PDF export option. However, I am trying to print a map now and it exports as 3 pages with the photo, which should be on the front of the card and therefore on the side right of the page, appearing on the left side of the page, the next page is empty on the right side with the greeting on the left side and the next page at the back of the card on the left side with a blank section in the right. It makes me crazy! Can anyone offer me a solution please?  I need to print the birthday card this morning!

  What version of iPhoto, whose theme card do you use?  Any theme card, I tried included only the photos without graphic ornaments.

  9.6.1 iPhoto is very disappointing upon registration of a card preview. It will include photos, but not the graphics that are part of the Aplle stop.

  My quick and dirty way to print the maps must take screenshot of separate pages of the card and arrange them with preview.

  I just noticed that.  That's a no-no.  They REALLY blew it.  Is any more convenient.  They got rid of all the shortcuts at the top and you have to click in the menus to get where you want.  Not good!

  They's also rid the shortcut CREATE list READING GENIUS. You must go through the right-click menu, suggestions of genius, then at the bottom of this menu select save playlist.  I'm going back to the previous version.

  It seems that every update that they make worse it!  They are deliberately crippling iTunes because they are getting rid of the purchased music.

• Ghost mail inbox reception, junk, trash and sent folders

  I I have an iPhone 6 and an iPad. Both use iOS 9.2.1.

  For several months (and several updated operating software) I have ghosts emails in my Inbox, junk, garbage and now my sent folder. I tried all of the fixes recommended on this forum, but nothing works. I use an Exchange account. This is not the case on my iCloud account that works very well.

  I know I'm not the only one and keep praying with each software update that Aplle will fix the problem, but it lasts for several months now.

  This is most likely a problem with the Exchange account and not your phone. I had a similar problem with an Exchange account on my iPhone and was able to solve it by signing on the account, and then insert it again.

  Dear friend, it is possible and vmware a wonderfull feature called affinity for the DRS cluster rules, in order to complete you must have enerpise or enterprice more license.  You must configure the rule afinity VM host. configuration is the following: to connect to vcenter and go to the cluster and change the settings-rules-add and it will jump to the top another assistant with the title of 'Rules' which contains rules and DRS group managwer two tabs. • How to download a purchased package of Creative Studio

  My company has the Creative Studio, standard purschased for my Mac.  I've got an Aplle ID signed in but when I go to download the trial and try to download it on my Mac there is nothing that allows me to use the new serial number from the purchase.  Any direction?
