  Hi all

  I've been wondering. How the device know if my application will be run automatically at startup (when the device starts up) or not, if my application is installed by the user from the App World?

  I thought that the autostart flag is stored in the Blackberry App descriptor XML file then reflected to the .jad file once I've compiled my app.

  Presentation on the App World vendor Portal requires only the .cod files, not the descriptor xml file or a .jad file.

  I downloaded a new application on the supplier portal Monday night, today I tried to connect to App World to check the status of the submission...

  But I get an "Invalid username or password" error, I'm a little worried, is it a bug related to the new portal AppWorld? What happened to my account?

  The site was in maintenance yesterday and today the login window accepts the password of more than 15 characters in length, so I guess I was right about it being a bug ;-)

• HELP blackBerry Smartphones: I downloaded the upgrade for App World to BB 8900 and now the App World icon has disappeared!

  I downloaded yesterday the BB App World 1.1.0.33 for my 8900 Javelin and just realized today that my App World icon is gone / hidden!

  I HAV to search all folders and it isn't here.

  When I checked my applications in options, it is quite there as being fully installed!

  How to 'show' or find App World please?

  No it is not hidden on the homescreen as I put it to show all. It was not located in the downloads folder. I mentioned earlier that when I checked on the list of installed Applications, it was listed as being installed on the system.

  My solution was to remove the slice of the list of Applications, restart the device and then reinstall once more (I did twice btw). When I did the second time I checked the downloads folder and it is finally here! I hope this helps @ rcorai.

  Although I preferred pretty well if I could have located the previous app rather than delete n re-install!

  1 performed the regular updates on bberry "BOLD" today through Desktop Manager

• App World and digital asset / payment of blackberry service

  I would like to submit a free app from App World and offer users to pay for additional features. I can't describe the digital products in my application.

  I use the BlackBerry payment Service , but I can't find anywhere in the App World vendor portal to describe digital products contained in my application. Do you know where I describe my digital good? (the SKU, price etc..)

  Hi all

  Today, it seems that the blackberry provider portal has been updated (at least) in France. Now it seems we can add digital assets in an existing application. The form is called = "add virtual good presentation."

  Looks like it was what I was looking for :-)

• App to App World submission

  I added a product on my Blackberry App World vendor portal. I wanted to send the *.cod file to the RIM and tried to add the release. When importing the *.cod file, the page showed 6 imported files (Note: I *.cod file and release it to 5 devices).

  Why is it showing 6 imported files?

  Another problem is that I'm not clear on the naming conventions while grouping file generated. I went through the referenced link but do not have all.

  You must submit the *.cod file, digital products are used, if your application contains additional content, that is not unlocked after the user pays for it.

  Ignore the .zip file thing, it's a bit complicated especially for beginners (meh, I used it so far )

  Just add a statement, set the version release and upload your .cod file. If you have different .cod files for different versions of the OS, download the .cod files one after the other and specify the minimum version of operating system for each of them.

  Hello.

  I recently downloaded my app on BB App world. later, when I went to check the approval status is showing status as icing. There is no specified reason nor any error of refusal which can help me ractify the error.

  Please help me track the bug or error, or any other reason so that I can re download my application.

  If the application or the payment is denied, you can find a copy of the denial email which has been sent to the 'History' of the ticket for your Application/release tab.  (Tickets are found under "Change request Tickets" in the left menu bar).

  If you need any clarification to this e-mail, you link to the Support team of the seller directly on the App World Vendor support page.  Scroll down beyond the graphics and you'll find a button that says "Get Vendor Management Support".

  This team must reply within 24-48 hours of your request for information.

  Guys, I'm having a serious problem with my app world. I want to download some applications and wen I try it says "my blackberry I had need of an update" I select Yes and it freezes, I recharge my camera and start the moment process again and it brings up the same message and wen I select none, it does the same thing. I deleted my app world and downloaded 2 times now and still no luck. Please help * cries *.

  Unfortunately, there are several possible matches for "my blackberry I'd need an update", so I can't narrow down to your exact needs. But if I had to guess, it's here:

  • KB29300 "An identity BlackBerry update is required" message appears at the launch of BlackBerry App World 3.1

  If this is not correct, then please re-post with the exact message that you see, including all punctuation signs, codes error, etc..

• Smartphones from blackBerry App World Download Icon

  I downloaded the upgrade for Salesforce Mobile on my BlackBerry Storm.  I had to delete some older applications, so the upgrade would fit and should have attempted the upgrade of App World several times.  I now have an icon on the top of the home page which is a black circle with a white border and a white arrow pointing down, with a red star over the arrow.  There is the number "2" beside him.

  I think that it is a download of the App World in progress icon, but I have never seen this.  What is and, more importantly, how clear it?  Thank you!

  Go to the message folder and you will see these 2 points. You can just delete it fom.

  In the beta version of the provider portal, the key is to tap your card, press "More", then "submit for review".
