AppAssure BMR cannot find the Destination disk.

I am preforming a bare metal restore material disimillar and Appassure cannot find the drive on the target computer.

Restore dell Poweredge R430 13g. The discs are in a controlled by a H330 PERC RAID 1.

Is there something I am missing, usually displays the disc without any problems?

Thanks for the support!

Inject you the Perc controller drivers in the boot cd when it was created? If this isn't the case, then this is probably the issue.  He can't access the storage controller so he can't see the disks.

    Hello

If you n t find the recovery disk more and you want to restore the original settings, ask an authorized service provider. Guys can put in order a new disc of recovery for you.
You have the address of the guy?

Alternative, you can also sell the laptop without recovery disks. Just wipe the HARD drive before selling it with the HARD drive like s boot cleaning tool Darik and nuke or some other program.

But I think you get a better price if it comes with recovery disks ;)

    Hi lmcrae,

Put your computer in a clean boot configuration to determine which product is responsible for this. Clean boot is a way convenient, safer to change the options for startup in the registry; You can turn individual items or disable freely to try various combinations up to that narrow you the problem. Once you find out, post details about the same so that we can take additional measures.

Please see this article for detailed information on how to do it.

While restoring my Mini 1010NR with 8 GB SSD from the disk of XP SP3 operating system, everything fine until partially through the recovery an error message saying that it cannot find the i386\ASMS file.

I tried the options "install fresh copy" and "repair" and get this same error message in both directions.

I formatted the SDS with both regular and quick NTFS file system. My OSD software gives me the possibility of formatting of the SDS with fat? I have not tried. That I should?

I looked at the CD, and in the i386 subdirectory, I see a subdirectory called ASMS. I see several subdirectories in this directory.

I am booting from an external CD/DVD drive. This seems correct, as the installed much restoration program file until stopping in the message saying that it couldn't find the file ASMS.

This OSD provided with the computer when I bought it new at HP.

  • P1102w - cannot find the printer

    Hello

I'm unable to print using a wireless connection.

    the printer is p1102w.

operating system is MAC OS 10.10 Yosemite

Whenever I try to print something I get "printer is not connected / cannot find the printer" message.

I tried the solutions on your support site, but nothing helped.

For sure, printer is connected to the same network as the computer. I see it on the print configuration page and I can connect to its IP address via a web browser (but I can't use web services).

All software and drivers are up to date. Update Apple is nothing new to me. Niether have your site.

I tried to move the printer closer and further away from router. No results.

No web proxy is related to my network.

To make this work, I have to remove the printer from my system, reinstall it using the USB cable, and then add it again via wi - fi.

But some time the problem reappears.

    It's really frustrating. Help, please.

    Hi @xopot ,

I see that you have problems printing via wireless network. I would like to help you today.

Since you can access the printer embedded Web server, the printer would have a valid IP address. Most likely, it has something to do with the software that the printer uses.

Fix permissions of the drive on the Mac:

    Close all applications.

In the Apple menu, click OK, click Applications, and then click utilities.

    Double-click disk utility.

Highlight your hard drive / partition on the left.

Click on check and then repair disk permissions.

    Restart the computer...

    Reset the printing system:

Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer deleted can be re-added later by clicking the sign plus (+) symbol.

Click on the Apple icon and then click on System Preferences.

    Click on Printers & Scanners.

Make a right click (or Ctrl + click) in the left white side panel, and then click Reset printing system.

Click OK to confirm the reset.

Type the name and the correct password.

Click OK to reset the printing system.

Then click on the sign to add the driver, highlight the printer +. (you may need to click the drop down menu to select the name of the printer) Then click the Add button.

Configure a static IP address for the printer.

The printer is not found during Installation wireless.

Do not take into account the title. Select the Solution 4: assign your printer a static IP address.

If you need help, let me know.

    Have a great day!
    Thank you.

    Hi Stephdan,

    1. have you done any hardware changes or software on your computer before this problem?

    2. Why are you trying to fix the computer?

It would be possible that the Windows XP installation disc is damaged.

    (a) you can try to do a Windows XP disk which should correspond to the same edition, as it is installed on your machine.

    (b) later, try to repair the installation and check if you are able to boot to the desktop normally.

    Perform a repair Installation

    Note:
however, you should not have Service Pack 3 installed on the computer before you run repair installation.
