AppData.Roaming/sun/mag0.dll

When Windows Vista comes a restart or stop, I get this error message. I can't get IE to connect to any web site.  It is not a problem with the network card. How can I get this .dll to reinstall or repair?

You can use Firefox or Chrome browsers as an alternative to IE. My Windows 7 system does not have such a file, so I think it has to do with Java.  Try to go to http://www.download.com and download the program Java runtime to see if it will fix IE.  You can download Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org and Chrome from http://www.google.com/chrome .

I hope this helps. Good luck.

The file is not on your system. There is only a registry entry that is refencing a nonexistent file. That's why you get the message.

If you disable the entry in Autoruns, Autoruns moves the registry entry to another location so that it is not used during Windows startup.

If you want to permanently delete the registry entry, right-click in Autoruns and click on delete. Or you can remove the entry from the registry using Regedit.

    Hi Dimitridpa,

This problem can occur because of a missing or corrupted Rundll32.exe file, conflict between software on the computer or due to infection by the virus.

    Method 1:
Let's first virus scan run using the Microsoft Safety Scanner to make sure that the computer is virus-free.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

    Note:
    1) the Microsoft Safety Scanner expires 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

    2) if you run the virus scan of the program which is infected with the virus will be deleted. Therefore, reinstall the program. Also, if files and folders are affected by the virus, while they might even get deleted.

    Method 2:
If the problem persists, we will start the computer Safe Mode to check if the problem occurs in Mode safe. If the problem does not occur in Mode safe then you try affecting the computer in a clean boot state to find what startup item or service is causing the problem.

Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode.

Check out the link: Advanced options boot (including safe mode)
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode

    Step 2:
To run minimum, follow these steps.

By setting your boot system minimum state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.
