Apple ID issue

IM 13 and I get a new iPhone and I was wandering if I can use my debit card from under 18 years for use with Apple ID.

Help, please

Jasmine

Being 13 puts you at a difficult time (you are right on the edge) when it comes to getting an identifier to Apple.  You * should * be able to use a debit card according to:

Create an iTunes Store account, App Store and iBooks Store without credit card or other payment method - Apple Suppor...

If you are not under 13.  If you were under 13 then the next power apply:

Sharing family and Apple ID for your child - Apple Support

It is said "children under 13 * unable to create an Apple ID on their own." implying that children who ARE 13 should be able to.

My suggestion is to follow these steps:

Create and start using a Apple - Apple Support ID

and see what happens when you arrive at:

Create your Apple ID

You can create your Apple ID when you set up a new device or connect to iTunes or iCloud for the first time. You can also go to the site Apple ID and select Create your Apple ID.

Here's what you'll need:

So, in answer to your question, MY interpretation of the above is that you should be able to set up your own Apple ID with your under 18 years old debit card given that you are 13 years of age.

  • Apple ID issue - pass or not?

I have an apple that was installed years ago, using my work email address ID. I use it in the peripheral work and personal devices and its mainly used for personal use.

Now, I want to create an Apple ID with a personal email address, so I can keep thing separate, should I:

    1. change the e-mail address of my current Apple ID to the new personal e-mail address, so I keep everything I bought, downloaded and use it on my personal devices. And then create another Apple ID with my work email address to use on the devices of my work?

    2. create a personal ID Apple with an e-mail address and then copy into what I can?

    3 do something else?

    Thank you very much

    Hello ellisj9

I'd go with option 1.   It is best to keep a job and personal issues that separated anyway.   And it is wise to keep what you bought or received (free apps) to ensure the update needs can be met.   Just my penn'th.

  • MacBook Pro (retina) and Apple Cinema issue

I have a problem when I connect my MacBook Pro which has a retina display to an Apple Cinema (that doesn't have a retina display). After you connect the laptop, if I try to open the creative cloud application, it shows a higher resolution. Please refer to the screenshot below. The first is a screenshot of the ACTUAL application after connecting my laptop to the screen. I have to click around the application in the hope of a tab and click, it will return to its normal resolution. The second is after I 'luckily' click a ghost tab.

Has anyone seen this issue. If so, what was your solution and more try to click around this App.

  • Change the Apple ID issue

I changed my Apple ID email tonight to my new email but I had to disconnect from iCloud on my mac and to do this, he said that I had to do something I've done a copy. Is this normal? Also, are my movies and music still on my account?

    Hi Ben_2575,

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple!

I understand your post, you have changed your Apple ID and are concerned about what happened during your registration in iCloud, as well as the status of your downloads.  When you change your Apple ID, you need to disconnect services you are logged in with your previous Apple, ID as shown in this help link: what to do after you change the password or Apple ID email address

At the signing of iCloud, just like you, you will be asked to clear the contents of your device, or save a copy, according to the function.  If you want to save a copy, the information that was on iCloud was saved on your Mac instead of delete it.  This information is then merged with iCloud, once you return connect with your famous Apple ID and select the Merge option.

Regarding your previous purchases from the iTunes Store, they are always associated with your famous Apple ID.

I hope this clears things up for you concerning the change of name of your Apple ID!

    See you soon.

    Hello

If you've used any third party fitness, followed (for example, Strava) apps to training Records, check if there is currently activity paused in the any of these applications on your watch.

If there is, put an end to this activity of this application on your watch (not on your iPhone).

  • Problems of subscription with Apple

    Hello

Recently updated my application so that it can see V.24 folios. I've just updated this part has not changed anything else. I submitted to Apple and it was rejected for the following reason:

The user cannot sign up for a free subscription. When the user clicks on the 'Subscribe' button, an activity indicator turns at the top of the screen with a text indicating «purchasing subscription...» ». However, after about 30-40 seconds later, an activity indicator disappears and no other action occurs.

Any ideas on what I should do?

    Thank you!

EDIT: Ok, so I went through the App Builder again and noticed that under the "free subscription product ID" that I had put in the Apple ID issue. I changed it to the "product ID" to the title of free subscription to my in-app purchase. I'm guessing that this will fix the issue?

Yes, you must include the product id "Free subscription" in the DPS App generator, so rebuild your app and resubmit the application for approval.

Go to the top of the Menu Apple left and use the ALT key to access system information.

Open Hardware > network > locations

On the right side of list of methods potential connection en0 works as the number for the connection?

You can also see in the network utility Applications/Utilities

If you Mac do not have capacity Ethernet number en0 will probably be the Wifi card.

If missing the number en0 then delete the contents of this folder: -.

It seems that for a very small number that any bet level and in some cased updates will result in their account (Apple ID) being blocked at the level of the server iMessages.

The question is based on the use of serial number to provide a specific device connection which in turn means that a device is disconnected.

The above is the only hint of Apple that they have a lead on why it happens.

It said that some people always have to contact the Apple Support and get their account to restore the use of their Mac from the Apple ID for the iMessages server only (Apple ID issues are free to set)

  • 6 iPhone no longer lights

Bought this Iphone 6 16 GB around February 2015. Worked perfectly all year with no problems at all. Has taken great care of it and is always perfectly as if I had just bought it. Just today, when I woke up from my sleep, the phone was working fine and was about 64% battery. However, all of a sudden it just completely shut off not the case. I tried everything I could to start up with the hard reset and plug it into the charger to charge, but the Apple sign will not come back on and the phone will charge even more. Certainly through technical problems with the software or the hardware. I have currently guaranteed more since it's been past a year as I got it and was scheduled for an appointment at the Genius bar, which I'm sure a lot of people had to go through this as well. I had already paid for this phone and don't think I should pay another fee just because something happens with Apple manufacturing issue. It's horrible, I used iphones and ipods from the first generation and the first time my phone turns off completely on me. As this is fairly new and should prove more effective than in the past.

It could be just a matter of an installation of a new battery...

You can make an appointment at an Apple Genius Bar.

Or send the iPhone to service > iPhone response Service

iMessage spontaneously told me to open a session, but don't connect. My ID and password are correct. I even reset my password to see if it would fix it. iCloud and other apps Apple ID/functions work fine. iMessage on my Mac does not work. iMessage on my phone is fine. Do not know what to do...

    Hello

Each connecting to servers iMessages is specific device using the serial number of the device.

In some cases have replaced mother/logic card may cause that the person performing the repair is supposed to "return of flame" the serial number for the new Board of Directors.

About this Mac (high Apple Menu icon on the left) the serial number appears in preview in the Yosemite and El Capitan.

While it is supposed to be a feature security a number of small but significant people find iMessages connection to various updates or updates it stops working.

Test your Apple ID in iMessages in another Mac user account (System Preferences > user and groups). Create a 'test' account or select th option invited and connect to this account.

If it works here then the problem is with your Mac user account.

If it doesn't work it is more likely to be at the server end, but there are other things you can try.

How to reset the NVRAM on your Mac - Apple Support

    Try a secure start

Do these two things separately and test Messages between the two.

If at this stage iMessages will still not connect, you will need to contact the Apple Support (even and Apple Care)

Explain that you have a problem with Apple ID with the Mac connection to the iMessages Server (Apple ID issues are free to set).

Chances are the level 1 players will not know what you are talking about because they use Scripts to handle phone calls.

Ask to speak to someone more important, particularly if they appear insistent and you pay.

Level 2s can vary with some knowledge about the issue and others work more blindly) (there was a post here where level 2 under a code number which has arisen in OS X 10.8.2 recently updated with the introduction by using the serial number).

Apple are aware that this security feature fires for some but not why.

Level 2 may ask you to try other things and also do data collection.

Ask them to check the iMessages server and see if it does not block your Mac.

    Ask them to put this.

At this point, they may involve engineers who seem to be the only ones who can reset the server.

Reinstall, upgrade or even a simple update don't work - it's a question of end of the server.

Judging by what others post back to talk about their experiences you can get told anything between 24 hours and 5 days to "Fix" (and in some cases a return phone calls to check).

Most report it seems 'resolves' as it is rarely if ever a return phone call.

This problem of not being able to connect (or in some cases to looking like you are connected but then all contacts turn red, then you cannot select them - or learn as much as by pressing send only to see "not delivered" for each iMessage) has happened since the Cougar in any form where the form.

It is probably fair to say that there has been changes and now it seems to a form any operating system level change.

We who post regularly have not found a quick process to face to get through Apple Support.

  • How many times should I stop my MacBook Air

I have a MacBook Air (early 2014), with a processor i5 and 4 GB of RAM. It will be 2 years from November 2016. Summer's going hard for me for a while now and works very well without any problems. I use applications like Final Cut, Motion 5 and Xcode and I am satisfied with the performance of such a light machine.

Apart from the information on my Mac, I have a question about proper use to optimize the performance and life of it. How many times have I stopped him? I use my Mac a day should I allow to sleep when I do not use as it has little effect on the battery and allows me to pick up where I left off. Should I only stopped when loading or is it okay to sleep by loading too? Should I stopped him every month or so or just during the software updates as I prefer to leave is majority of sleep of the time it won't have a long amount of time without me using it.

    Thank you.

If you do not meet the pigs of RAM, there is really no reason to close it. If you don't see the warnings of memory, a simple reboot menu Apple fade issue.

  • Unable to sign in imessage: an error occurred during activation. Try again.

    Greetings,

I just got my board battery and logic changed on the apple store, and since I can not sign in imessage. I get the following error: an error occurred during activation. Try again. I tried to reset the NVRAM, but I still get the error. My internet connection is fine, my e-mail works.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hello

Open the purpose of this Mac from the Menu of the Apple icon top left point.

Tab preview is to display the serial number.

If this is not iMessages will not work (resetting the app just does not this account)

Return to the repairer and put back it on the logic board (this is supposed to be part of the process)

If you check it matches what is on your Mac (back, down, or battery compartment)

If it is 'false' then get his change.

There is a chance that this has also blocked using Apple ID for iMessages by this computer on the iMessages servers.

The serial number is used to provide a specific connection of the device.

IF this does not work after correction or get the serial number to the logic board, you will need to contact the Apple Support (same as Apple Care).

Once you have explained that it is a matter of Apple ID, he should be free to Fix.  This does not mean that the person of level 1, you talk to knows what to do (they lead script for Apple care issues)

Ask politely to speak to someone more important.

Even in this case they may insist on collecting data and hoop jump.

Based on others who responded that it now gets the engineers involved (the question happens separately the question of the logic board)

Insist that the server is given regarding the use of your Apple Mac.

Update or upgrade does not work and neither did a reinstall.

Even in this case, they can tell you that it could take days for a resetting to filter through.

  • can't empty the Trash because of locked elements and certain permissions

I want to well to empty the trash, but am getting blocked by two numbers, starting with:

    (1) ''there are some elements locked in the trash. " Do you want to remove all items, including those locked or just unlocked items? »

Unlike previous messages or suggestions on the support Forum, this text box does not actually identify the locked objects, not their names, places or anything like that. Similarly, when I press Option with Secure Empty Trash, it scatters only my Finder window such that I can not select anything.

I have browsed through the trash looking for ASCII files or other weird characters and have removed these (created a new folder on the desktop), but this has not changed anything.  When I try to Secure Empty Trash again, the same note appears.

I tried the two options offered by this text box ('Remove all items' or 'Remove Unocked items'), but regardless of my choice, the following text is displayed:

    (2) the operation cannot be performed because you have not granted access to some of the elements. »

I guess that brings me to permissions, but given that the article "troubleshooting permissions in Mac OS X - Apple support issues" has been archived and is no longer updated by Apple (from Jan 2016), I'm hoping to get information updated here.

    Please help me!
