  I bought the Publisher of 12 elements in March 2015 on the Apple App Store. Apple has confirmed that there is absolutely nothing wrong with my Mac.   OK, I just learned how to do it properly and I tried it and it worked.

  1 - right click on the sheet and select move or copy. (remember to check the copy)
  2 - Select the new journal and in the smartview, or Ribbon menu, select the option 'import metadata.
  3. you will be asked to select which sheet you want to import from, select your original sheet.

  If you do not have this option, it may be because it was introduced more recently... I know it's in the 11.x versions.
