• Apple TV 4th gen: Photo app does just not for me

  Hi all

  I have a brand new Apple TV 4th gen 32 GB. The application Photo (photo stream in particular) does everything just for me.

  Most of the photos is not synchronized (iCloud icon). What is ironic, is that the 'photo stream' will display the last picture took from my iphone.

  It is very annoying because it's the app more interesting to use on a large television screen.

  Could you please share your experience with this application?

  HI I have 4 th from the 3rd generation gen aptv. I mainly use mine for my works of fantastic music as Iam a subscriber of Apple's music, I normally use the photo as a slide show app while the music plays. However I paid extra monthly void exrra I cloud storage for my 10 k photos, I was disappointed initially only heard photo stream photos photo enforcement and not my 10 k photos, which Canberra played on my iMac iPhone and iPad, but since finding that it did not work to my satisfaction, I did the following. I shared my pictures via I share with myself in cloud and spent a lot of s of time to select and put pictures into Albums or Rome Corfu etc. and shared albums now appear on the aptv. My biggest problem now, it's how many photos is repeated on the slideshow, I know there is a possibility of not repeating the pictures but I find if I select that for some reason any he may play 5-7 photos, then come back to the main menu, curiously this also happens if I use my VAC flckr the same thing happens a few times, he plays a round of photos over and over again and then all of a sudden it changed for a new batch. I can only hope Apple will address this issue later with an update, I would like to see the photos on the aptv app as it appears on my iMac phone etc, I asked this to Apple. Aside from that Iam enjoying this very well compared to the older generation, Yes, I bought plane finder app for my phone that I view somes and today I discovered that I can download to the Aptv very happy but still more happy if the patch on the side of the photos of it.

  The Photos app on the new Apple TV (4th generation) does not display my photo albums that I see on the Photos app on my iMac and my iPhone. The Photos app appears the flow of my photos, as expected, but does not show me the albums that I've implemented.

  Any of you know if this is a bug or there is a limitation of the current application. I've updated to the latest version of the TV operating system.

  I know that I can see all the photos/pictures using from iTunes home sharing, then using the app for computers on the Apple TV (which works very well for me). It seems strange to me that the Photos app is not it too much because it is the last attempt by Apple to have a single integrated solution for photos on all devices.

  Ideas are much appreciated!

  I have the same problem more than a few pictures selected alums are appearing on my 3rd or 4th get Apple TV.  When I try to run a slide show of photos, only those in the album which is visible from the piece of Apple TV (logic) albums however all play on my MacBook Pro, iPhone or iPad.  Frustrating that *.  Have restarted all devices, switched off homeharing / we updated all devices to current SW.  Any advice?

  I have a generation of Apple TV 3. I'm an American living in Malaysia. I have a subscription to NFL game Pass and the application of the NFL that it works on the apple tv.

  Whenever I open the app on the apple tv now, I get a black screen with the text "NFL is unavailable. Try again later. »

  No more, no less, can not even connect / disconnect from nfl app.

  This app worked the season latest wonder! I checked to see if it was a problem with my subscription, but I can very well look on the site nfl.com (on another computer).

  Is the official app available in your region in course, or you try to use an application that has been downloaded in the United States? I guess that your place of current residence, which has been detected by the waiters, is what creates the problem.

• Unable to set up Apple TV (4th gen) as Home Hub

  I updated my iPhone to iOS 10 5s yesterday and today I updated my Apple TV (4th gen) to tvOS 10.

  But I can't configure my Apple TV as a hub in the home on my iPhone app - the Automation tab in the hub said "Make Apple TV (4th generation) to the center of your House...» ", but offers no possibility to do so.

  Who says:

  • On your Apple TV, go to settings > accounts > iCloud and make sure your Apple TV shows connected HomeKit.

  But there's nothing HomeKit this page of settings on Apple TV. (Yes, my Apple ID has two-factor auth enabled.)

  Does anyone have this working? Any tips?

  Same question here, but with 6 s iPhone more and iPad 9.7 Pro.

  No "HomeKit" option under iCloud as instructions indicate there should be.

  Only reference HomeKit that I could find anywhere was under "Privacy", with the only option being "Reset configuration" or something like that. Who comes to HomeKit forget all my devices.

  Have activated two-factor authentication, then out of the iCloud, Apple TV, and back in. No luck. Tried to reboot several times, still nothing.

  The Apple TV is clear my HomeKit Setup, because the use of the thing "Reset configuration" has had an impact on what I see on my iPhone. So I think this could be a bug in 10 TVOS. Very annoying that it breaks the new Automation features in iOS 10.

  Too bad, that it worked.  You must go to your iCloud account and HomeKit appears. It should be activate 2FA then in the AppleTV go to settings > iCloud > your iCloud and home account is displayed.

• Apple TV 4th gen: video stutters/buffers when bluetooth connected to headset Motorola SS9 - HD

  Nice day!  My new Apple TV 4th gen: video stutters/pads several times when connected in bluetooth for headset Motorola S9 - HD.  Normal play time before the start of the stuttering/buffering is about 15 seconds.  The headphone stops also in stuttering.  After that the buffer of spinning button stops, all goes back to normal until the next cycle.  This happens on all video activity of any source.  If I disconnect the headset in the bluetooth settings, everything is completely OK.  This is a brand new Apple TV 4, with the latest updates.  This stuttering also occurs when of the Air Airplaying of my iPad, or if playback purchased iTunes movies.

  The main reason for the purchase of this 4th Apple TV:

  1. availability of the App Store of Apple TV.

  2. ability to connect his bluetooth headset and ensure the privacy of the other

  3. the beautiful screensavers.

  4. menu main display and interface.

  5. Siri Remote.

  I wanted to add to my previous question that I tested the speed of the WiFi using my iPad Air in the same room with the Apple TV 4. Used SpeedOf.Me Lite and went up 23 Mbps download and shipping.

  I don't know if you can go to an Apple Store and buy an iTunes card it.  Note also despite the confusing Apple policy of any appeal 'Apps' now, what you are running on an iPod and you run on a computer are not the same (for now at least).

• Can't play music bought on the cloud on Apple TV (4th gen)

  I just started to use the Apple's music, and when I go to my music on my MacBook Air and iPhone/iPad, I can play anything I added whether through Apple music, music purchased from the iTunes Store or my own music that corresponded via iCloud music library.

  On my Apple TV (4th gen), however, I can't play the purchased songs. Apple and my own songs music songs play fine. But if I choose one of the purchased albums, the screen does is display the album artwork for every song Flash by very quickly, but does not play anything.

  Someone knows how to fix this or if this is a known bug?

  You can try to reboot the device, and then disconnect the store and insert it again.

• Help with Apple TV (4th gen) ADCOM receiver.

  I'm trying to connect my Apple TV (4th Gen) to my receiver with basic cable AV (sound). I have an Apple TV to TV HDMI. The audio input of the TV, I have the AV cable connected to my output of receivers. I can't understand why the sound is still coming from the television and not sound surround. Thanks for any help!

  My receiver is an ADCOM GTP-600

  It's a little tricky because of the age of your components.

  You should connect the plug the ATV HDMI to TV. You then connect the stereo audio output TV at the input of the receiver. (Your description reversed entry and exit.) You must then turn off the TV speakers in the TV configuration menu and select the right input on the receiver. You get digital surround sound with this Setup, but you could get Logic Pro.
