  • Open the file LightroomPreferences.agprefs
  • Locate the line use = True autobahn (press CTRL + F)

  I bought a new laptop from Toshiba Satellite A660-07 s recently, since he started to freeze when I use video applications, such as Skype or Youtube, etc...   I m wondering really that your computer laptop doesn t work properly with video applications. Friend of me has the same laptop and it often use video applications like Skype, Youtube, etc. Also, he'd watch DVD and blu - ray but no problems at all.
  It uses the version preinstalled Windows from Toshiba and everything is ok.

  In your case I would ask again authorized service provider what they can do for you. I mean if many parts have been replaced already there must be a solution to your problem and if it of a hardware related problem, you can do anything and you need professional help.

  Perhaps the ASP can get in touch with Toshiba directly or else just talk a bit with them, I m sure that the problem could be solved.

  Sorry that I can't say more, but the A660 from my friend is the perfect job.

  OK... never mind. Finally, I realized there is a small (one to the top triangle at the bottom of a rectangle) icon at the top of iTunes, next to the volume control bar. So this means that I have to select 'Apple TV' every time I want to play the iTunes library on my Apple TV later? Weird. I hope this is changed in the software soon, if this is the case.   Whenever I move my laptop from its position, it freezes. As I kept my phone on my bed and I pick it up and place it on my lap then it crashes / freezes. So every time I have to remove the battery and put it again whenever this happens. Sometimes twice a day. It gets really frustrating whenever you do something important. So what I can make of this is that whenever I move the laptop to a certain speed, it freezes, it means that something inside it moves from its ideal location (doesn't happen when I move it very slowly).

  Any cause of definte and the solution?

• LR 2.3 freezes when importing from CF card reader photos

  We use LR for some time.  Repeatedly noticed when import a few hundred new photos than LR 2.3 will freeze for importing photos from a CF card reader (Lexar Professional Player and Lexar CF cards).  The computer must be rebooted which causes corruption catalogue and had to start all over again. I use an iMac (3.06 GHz Intel processor dual core) with 4GBs of RAM and 800 GB HARD drive.  All the operating system software are uptodate.  I was wondering if others have the same problem and what, if any, work arounds could be out there.  Adobe does not have this problem on their Web site.

  Image capture is an application that ships with Mac OS X. It can be used to control what happens during a reconnaissance of the card, but it is not necessary. I have my Mac configured to simply use Finder to copy maps, if for some reason, I use LR.

  I think that once you reformat your card, you may find LR will very well be important.

  This only happens for internet streaming videos or have you noticed that also play videos stored on the HARD drive?
  Could it be linked to the internet connection is slow?

  If this isn't the case, then I would check the processes running in the background. Some processes may insist on the CPU, and this might be the reason of this gel.

  Just an another idea;
  Have you checked a few other graphics drivers? Update the driver and test again.
  I recommend also using actors.

  I'm running Windows XP, SP3 on a laptop Lenovo Thinkpad 61 T.
  My computer works fine, except that if I put in mode 'sleep' and then wake it, it freezes. Even the Windows shut down does not work, and I have to restart with the power button.  When the computer reboots, it works fine.  I did virus scans and even replaced the operating system and installed programs with an image that I made well before this problem started.

  Could be something as simple as a video driver, or a change in the power settings.

  Can first update you your video driver to the latest version available?
