  PS dear community,

  I installed CS6 Design Standard (perpetual license) on my retina 15 inch Macbook Pro (OS X 10.8.2) today.

  • A run a few updates after installation, but no retina, set up-to-date for AI or PS among them.
  • After a quick google search, I read that I had to manually update the Application Manager. Doing just that.
  • Research update of the AI / AI PS. is now v. 16.0.3 and retina, PS is now v. 13.0.3 but NOT the retina.
  • Later, I downloaded the 13.0.3 patch, but this has not changed anything.
  • I uninstalled PS (+ preferences removed) with the Adobe uninstaller.
  • Reinstalled and ran al updates, Application Manager finds 13.0.3 mise put at new day, running the update and it is not yet retina.

  It blows my mind how many markets, google searches, updates, patches that it takes to update Arend & PS "correctly" and apparently it still does not for PS

  Any advice?

  What version of OS are you using? If you run El Capitan, he won't work except in the latest LR6 and CC.   Maybe this can help someone else...  I had to simply properly uninstall CS3 and reinstall again after that.  I think what he sort!  I also remember having a similar problem with the Mac at work a couple of years back.  Not sure if it is the same for CS5/CS6.  Here is a link on how to properly uninstall CS3 on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Mac OS.  I'm on OS X 10.9.2 but it works beautifully.  Remove from Creative Suite 3 and CS3 products

  Sorry, should have posted earlier. I solved the problem I had with the connection to my mac, is perhaps the same prob you meet. You must activate 'the mass storage mode support' and format the card media if you have one. Do this in the file on the bb and then its under 'memory '.

    • Mac OS X v10.8.5 or later
    • PC: Windows 7 or later
