Apple Watch astronomy in wrong place

Recently my Apple Watch "became black." Still, he had the battery power but was totally insensitive and did not show a black screen. Restart the watch solved this issue.

I don't know if it's related, but the face of Apple Watch astronomy used to have a green dot on the globe photo, showing my location here in France.

Now it comes either California-centric (I assume that Cupertino) with no green dot.

I'm turned on and turned off the watch and my iPhone.

I unpaired and re-couple watchmaking and the iPhone.

I turned on and outside location Services.

I changed the dials, does all these things and switched back to astronomy to see it's still broken.

Other applications of the iPhone display exactly my location here in France.

Any suggestions?

Make sure you look at the operating system is up-to-date. On your iPhone, tap the watch then push the general > software update

And make sure your iOS iPhone software is in place today. Tap Settings > general > software update

    Hello

If you have not already done so, it could be that you want to configure your watch with these settings:

-On your iPhone, in the application of Eve, go to: My Watch (tab) > General > detection of wrist - it lights up.

-On your iPhone, in the application of Eve, go to: Watch My > password > code turn on (choose a password Simple or more complex).

-Also on the password settings screen, select Unlock with iPhone.

After putting on your wrist, your watch don't unlock then after whatever you do first: unlock your watch manually (by entering the access code) or unlock your iPhone.

Then, it will remain unlocked (including when the screen is idle) until you remove it from your wrist. When you remove your watch, it locks automatically.

  • Place of current residence Apple Watch weather

    Hi all

something is happening with my Apple Watch and weather.

I can't get the weather from the current location on my watch. current place of residence is enabled on my iPhone and I can't see properly on the native phone application.

However, I can't even on the watch. The current location is also enabled on the weather app of the watch, but I see only the predefined locations.

I read a bit here and I have tried all the solutions posted as to restart the phone, delete predefined places, etc. but nothing seems to work.

    any idea?

      • Ensure that the location service is enabled.

  • I just bought a Apple Watch on eBay and I am unable to put in place, as said, still connected to the previous owner icloud

    Hello

In order to pair the watch to your iPhone, you need the former owner is:

    • Enter their Apple ID and password on your device, or;
    • Disable the feature via https://www.icloud.com/ by signing with their Apple ID > settings > my devices > Apple Watch-click > click the 'X' > click on delete.

If they have already removed the watch of their devices in iCloud, but the watch remains locked, it can help - if they have not already done so - if they désapparier the watch via the app shows on their iPhone (even if the watch is not available).

    • On their iPhone, in the application of Eve, go to: My Watch (tab) > My Watch > tap the name of the watch (if indicated) > on the next screen, press the 'i' icon to the right of the name shows > tap on disable pairing Apple Watch.

It can also help if you, as the new owner, try the following steps:

    • On your iPhone: app shows as well as all other open applications (press twice on the Home button, drag up on each of the app previews) nearby.
    • Restart both devices, two of them turning off and then restarting your iPhone first:
      • To turn off the clock: press and hold the button side until you see the cursor off the power; Drag the slider to turn off.
      • To turn back on the Watch: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.
    • Then try to new development.

If the watch is always locked, ask the seller to contact Apple Support and explain the situation, clearly indicating that they are the original owner. Apple support may then be able to help more:

    Hello

This isn't a problem or an error. It is an intentional visual effect that is designed to repeat the contents of the underlying screen.

The effect appears every time that see you some screens that sit on top of the other, for example:

    -For displaying Notification Center (dragging down when you view the screen of the watch face - like in your picture);

    -For reading a notification;

-For the opening of eyes (by sliding upward when you view the screen of the watch face).

    -By the use of Siri.

The underlying mirror not precisely the content of the display function. Instead, it adds a blur effect / ghosts.

If you want to disable this feature:

-On your iPhone in the app shows, go to: Watch My > general > accessibility - turn on / enable the setting to reduce transparency.

This setting stops the effect to be shown on the display of your watch.

  • Reminders of location based on Apple Watch

    Hello

I have been using my Apple Watch since its launch and it gave me a lot of satisfaction.

One of the things I love the most is that you are able to create all simply with reminders function Siri with your Apple Watch location, I have to say that I use almost every day I train near a shopping center, you can therefore imagine "Hey Siri remind me to buy eggs... when I get to...» "I just had to say what I had to buy and say the name of the supermarket Siri suggests to me a list of supermarkets with that name in the box, I had to then choose the supermarket. The process always ends with a message informing me that something was wrong... (but actually it worked!) Because I remember once I kept insisting that I received dozens of reminders on my watch. My problem is that for these days, Siri is to create a reminder, but without suggesting any place and told me that something was wrong, then I have on the list of my iPhone 'buy eggs' without any place.

I just want to know if I'm the only one having the same problem or not, please note that I have not changed anything on my Apple Watch or my iPhone.

Thanks in advance for your help,

    Daniel,

  • What happens if you wear on the Apple Watch so loose?

Electroisolante of the night, you guys guys haz of the indices to see what happens when you wear it on the Apple Watch tight or loose? Please give me the thing to see what is happening

    Ok?

    Hello

Apple recommends port Apple Watch comfortably on top of your wrist, neither too loose nor too tight and with room for your skin to breathe.

If you wear too vaguely Apple Watch, the watch can not stay in place, sensors maybe isn't able to perform more efficiently and the group can cause rubbing. For example: with wrist detection enabled, your watch can block several times while still on your wrist, because of the watch to lose contact with your skin and believing wrongly that he had been removed from your wrist. Haptic (cuts wrist) may also be less visible. The heart sensor performance may also be affected.

Wear the watch too tight can cause a skin irritation or discomfort.

  • App Apple Watch Store

    Hello

I'm not sure if I should post this in the article 'Watch' or 'IPhone '.

I bought a Apple Watch a few days ago. the first day I got it, it seemed fine (although most of the night was to load/update) until the next day.

I clicked on 'Watch' on my IPhone and it loads to the top of the screen with all my settings.

If I then click on 'Explorer', 'Star' or 'Search' I just get a blank white screen and nothing is still trying to load.

This happened the first day of its use after charging.

I then go to the chat support on apple's site and went through a load of things that does not work then they asked me to reset my settings (which proved do nothing except average I have to redo my fingerprints and passwords)

After the completion of this had not helped, and the app store still didn't work they put in place a phone call from one of them to talk to me through what was going on and ultimately a restore has been proposed.

I did a restore of a backup that I had done the day before and everything was back to normal and the AppStore watch worked again.

He worked all day yesterday and then today when Ive woken up, I click on the 'round', all my settings are there as usual. Click on "Explore / Search ' and it's just a blank white screen again and no loading.

    The Watch works fine

    My phone works fine

everything seems to work very well outside the App Store on 'Watch', but surely something is wrong somehwhere to get there. don't know if it is a lack of monitoring or by phone, but something does not work

Someone already had this problem or have any suggestions to what it could be.

I really don't like my phone again for him to stop working again after a day of compensation

    Thanks for any help

    Hello

To clarify: the expected behavior for the 'Search' tab is to show a white screen with a search bar at top. Only the content will be displayed during the search. For example:

-Start typing "Weather" or a known application (for example ' Dark Sky') name in the search box > the page must fill out a list of names app > press on see more details.

  • Can Apple Watch track a swim in an endless pool

I work in an endless pool, which is actually a treadmill for swimmers. You will stay in one place and swim your heart while it blows a current against you to keep you in place in the small pool.

I see that the watch can track laps, which is controlled by setting the distance of your pool so that he knows what is a length is, according to me. I also see that it can follow a free bath, and I guess it's GPS.

No one knows if she can count the strokes? Or does anyone have an overview if you think it would work to track the swimming event in an endless pool where 1) don't stop and turn around each 'x' distance and 2) you also do not travel any distance to what a GPS is?

    Thanks in advance...

    N °

Apple Watch uses GPS to track your progress in Open water swimming mode and titles towers during swimming in the pool swimming mode. The endless pool does not have to happen. As to count the strokes, I think it's (quite well know for that), but they do not report this information. Because they do not know to what extent you swim by race, they can use that to calculate your distance. However, I can see a future update where they have an Endless Pool mode when you enter the speed of the pool (assuming that you can set as a treadmill).
