Apple Watch stay connected to the iPhone 7

I unpaired my Apple Watch from my old iPhone reset 6, combined with my new iPhone 7. Since then, he continues to lose its connection, even if both devices are never spaced over 3 feet. It's killing the battery on the Apple Watch in the short term.

What is happening to others? Any suggestions on how to keep connected?

    Hello

    No, your efforts are not counted twice.

    Health and fitness data from other sources, iPhone, and Apple Watch are grouped within the app to health on the iPhone, which allows you to adjust the results to avoid any double counting of data from different sources.

    You can only pair two Bluetooth to attach only apple devices.

  • Apple Watch does not connect to the iPhone 6

    After updating my iPhone to IOS 9.3.3 6 all my bluetooth devices registered were gone including my Apple Watch. Now, it appears under "other devices" so I can't connect it. I already started my bluetooth and off and reset my iPhone but nothing worked. Any suggestions? Thank you.

    Hello

    Your watch is not supposed to be listed under "Other devices" on your iPhone (settings > Bluetooth), but it should be included in the section "my devices".

    To check the connection status of your watch to your iPhone, go to the eye of settings on your watch:

    • When you view the time on your watch dial, slide up from the bottom edge of the screen, then swipe left / right until you find the glance of parameters. This will specify connected or disconnected:
      • Connected and a symbol of green phone in the upper right shows that the watch is connected to your iPhone via Bluetooth.
      • Connected and a green cloud symbol indicates that your watch is disconnected from your iPhone via Bluetooth, but rather connected (as a backup) to a known Wi - Fi network.
      • Disconnected shows that your watch is disconnected from your iPhone and is not connected to a Wi - Fi network. The symbol in the upper right corner will be a red telephone with a line through it. The same symbol will also see the top of the watch face.
    • Slide down again to return to the watch face.
  • iPhone will not stay connected to the internet?

    * Posted on MacRumors forums but no answers *.

    So basically since a few days my phone sometimes don't remain not connected to the internet network of BT-Hub3. I connect to it and then sometimes, it will stay connected for a minute for a few seconds and then disconnect. When I go to the wifi thing it seems available to connect to. After a couple of times that to happen, it will say wrong password (this is the password) and disconnect me and then I have to type the password. Repeat to infinity. It's honestly so frustrating.

    Sometimes it will stay and be fine but his is happened twice in the last few days and never happened before with any phone I've had.

    I try my phone with my BT-Hub4 internet network and it will stay connected. The only problem with this is that the internet is further (bottom), so has a low connection that does not charge anything unless I lean on my bed.

    Initially, I assumed my internet pick, but I'm typing this I am connected to the network BT-Hub3 without disconnect him, even once.

    I had the phone for a year and 2 months (previous owner had since October/November/December in the year of release) and recently got a replacement of the unofficial battery if this of any help. I also still have my phone on the low power mode. The phone always properly connect to the BT-Hub3 network even with unofficial battery and low power however mode.

    I had several other problems with the phone (camera, apps download not heat no reason apparent, random battery drains despite the new battery in just 3 months and has the same problem with the battery, slow Touch ID that apparently is not normal), which most recently happened.

    I had all the settings to reset a week or two ago but surely if who messed with my settings internet I would have had the internet issue earlier? Not sure if I should try to reset the network settings. I hate this and only do if I need to.

    One last note, I have the latest version of iOS so ignore saying his 9.3.2 on

    Hi pinkdolphins0400,

    Thanks for posting in the communities of Support from Apple! I understand that you are having problems with your iPhone does not stay connected to your internet connection at home. I use my home Wi - Fi network to stay connected, so I use all the cell data, if I can understand wanting to make sure that you are able to stay in touch. I am pleased to provide you with a few suggestions for you.

    The first thing I recommend you do is follow the steps described in the following article. It seems that you have already experienced some of these steps, but I want to be sure that you have covered everything.

    If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch connects to a Wi - Fi network

    Since you mentioned that your iPhone will stay connected to your network to another, you can take a look at the network settings for the one that you are having problems staying connected to. Article below provides information about network configurations suggested for Apple devices. You can also check with the manufacturer for your BT 3 - Hub see if there are updates that must be performed. This can cause problems with disconnects.

    Recommended settings for the WiFi routers and access points

    For other problems you mentioned (apps do not download, camera, battery draining, contact ID, etc.) reset settings was a big step in troubleshooting to try. If these things are always happening, I recommend making a backup of your iPhone and then restore it via iTunes. The backup will ensure that your data is saved. When you perform the restore via iTunes, you'll want to set up as a new device (temporarily), and then test it. Once you test, you can try to restore your backup. You can find all of the information below, you will need.

    does anyone have a solution to this?

    Hello

    The following steps can help (try again after each):

    • On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: Watch My > general > use > software update - remove any file update, if one is displayed.
    • Delete all profiles beta (on your iPhone and/or the watch), then restart both devices (this applies only if you have already participated in a program of Apple Beta software).
  • my Apple Watch does not record the data of my activity on my iPhone. The application of the activity is implemented on my watch and twinned with phone and not yet to record data.

    my Apple Watch does not record the data of my activity on my iPhone. The application of the activity is implemented on my watch and twinned with phone and not yet to record data.

    HI - try the following steps:

    On your iPhone close application of activity and also, if it runs in the background, the health app (you can close open apps, including the app shows):

    -Double-click the Home button, and then drag upward on each of the app previews to close.

    It can help to restart your iPhone and your watch. Turn on both devices off the power together first, and then restart your iPhone before restarting your watch:

    -To switch off your watch: press and hold the button side until you see the cursor off the power; slide it to turn off;

    -To switch on: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.

    If this does not resolve the problem, try next disconnect and rematching of your watch:

    -L'app shows on your iPhone shows backups automatically, including a new when the unpairing via the application.

    -Choose to restore the watch (backup restore) when provided the opportunity during the whole.

    -Most of the data and settings will be restored, with a few exceptions (for example cards Pay Apple, access code).

    I don't see any way you can back up your Apple Watch now.

    Content of Apple Watch automatically saves on your iPhone Companion. When you back up your iPhone to iTunes or to iCloud, your iPhone backup will also include your Apple Watch data.

  • Apple Watch Wifi connection

    I recently bought a Apple Watch sport and noticed that it does not connect to my home network. Can someone help me to try to connect to the network?

    I have at & t and Motorola NVG589 router, I believe that it is compatible with the Apple Watch.

    Hello

    Apple Watch can connect to a Wi - Fi network if the network is 802.11b/g/n 2.4 GHz and your iPhone, while being connected to your watch with Bluetooth has connected to the network before. If your iPhone is not in the scope of Bluetooth compatible Wi - Fi is available for free, your Apple Watch uses Wi - Fi.

    If you encounter any problems with your watch connect this way, try the following steps:

    • Before you begin, make sure that you made a note of:
      • Name of your Wi - Fi network.
      • The type of encryption it uses;
      • Your Wi - Fi password.
    • With your iPhone connected to the Wi - Fi network and with your watch near and connected to your iPhone via Bluetooth:
      • On your iPhone, go to: settings > Wi - Fi.
      • Press the 'i' icon on the right side of entrance to your current Wi - Fi connection;
      • On the next screen, click on forget this network - leave a few moments;
      • Then, with a short break between the two, disable and re-enable the Wi - Fi using the toggle at the top of Wi - Fi free.
    • Reconnect your iPhone to the network 2.4 GHz Wi - Fi.
      • If you have a hidden network (ie the network name / SSID is not broadcast), choose Add to the network with 'The other', then enter the name of the network, the encryption type, and password.
    • After that your iPhone has reconnected, leave a little time to get the information to share your watch.
    • Test your watch by placing your iPhone in Airplane Mode (via central control or via settings > airplane Mode).
      • On your watch, slide up on the dial of the watch, then swipe left / right until you find the look of parameters;
      • This should say connected, and display a green cloud icon to indicate that it is connected to the Wi - Fi;
      • Slide down again to return to the watch face.
    • Take your iPhone out of airplane Mode when you are finished.

    Note that, if your iPhone connection is possible via Bluetooth, it will always be used by your watch rather than connecting to a known Wi - Fi network.

  • "iPhone is disabled, connect to iTunes" AND "iTunes can not connect to the iPhone because it is locked with a password" error message on the phone and the computer! Help!

    So I recently had my password wrong too many times and my iPhone 4S locked out telling me "iPhone is disabled; Connect to iTunes'. And so I connected to iTunes and decided to restore my phone. I finished the process of restoration of the configuration of my phone, but ultimately, it was not even let me in the phone! Once AGAIN he said "iPhone is disabled; " Connect " to iTunes '. However, this time, this message appeared just when I turned on my phone with a black background. I didn't scan the screen for the error message is displayed (and there was no time to be shown). When I tried to connect to iTunes again as he asked, now it says "iTunes can not connect to the iPhone because it is locked with a password".

    So now, he said "iPhone is disabled; ' Connect to iTunes' on my iPhone 4S and ''iTunes can't connect to the iPhone because it is locked with a password ' on my computer. WHAT should I do?

    As described in step 2 of "Erase your device with iTunes" in this article, you will need to use the Recovery Mode.

    Recovery mode is described in this article as well.  You may try to go into recovery mode more than once to succeed.

  • iTunes could not connect to the iPhone "iPhone", because an invalid response was received from the device.

    So I am a new iphone 7. I had a 6 before that. Everything was fine until the day where I got the 7, I decided to try a manual on itunes for my 6 backup so that I could put this on the new phone. I use now icloud backup but before that he always did on my computer. Its itunes version 12.2.2.25 as it is the most recent, that I can run with 10.7.5 which is the newest my mac pro can work without hacking it. Again, never had a problem before it save and use it to transfer music. Anyway, I received the message "iTunes could not connect to the iPhone"iPhone"because an invalid response was received from the device." I tried 3 different usb cords. I tried both ports to the front of the computer and all 3 in the back. Abandoned and did a backup icloud. Installed on the new phone. Everything transferred except my music library which is real download of my CD via itunes. If something was wrong on the iphone 6, surely the new phone that starts with a clean slate will be very well... wrong.  Same message. Leaves through ports, cables, etc. Is it just a simple matter of ios 10 now works with my version of itunes?

    A new phone will be iOS10.  iOS10 requires iTunes 12.5.1 find which demands in turn 10.9.5 OSX or newer.  Software update checks only the updates to the current version of the system that you are running but that itself can be updated.  It may or may not be possible to upgrade your computer to the system requirements. Find your computer on the web site of http://www.everymac.com model and near the bottom of the specification of the system section, he will tell what versions of the operating system, it is able to run. If you can not run a newer system, you will not be able to sync this phone to your current computer. OSX 10.9 and 10.10 are no longer available. You can try to install the free El Capitan OSX 10.11.  El Capitan can run slower on older machines and require the additional purchase of RAM (4 GB is a minimum realistic and many recommend 8 GB).  Making a big jump in versions of system is also more likely to affect the old software.
