Application installation Bluetooth on each reboot of Windows 8

Got two older laptops Vostro 1310 and 1510.
Both migrated from Windows XP to Windows 8 and so far, works fine, aside from a small problem of Bluetooth.

Because it is not no matter what driver Bluetooth of Windows 8 for the Module Bluetooth Dell Wireless 360 (Toshiba), I installed Windows 7 (Toshiba 28.07.2009 drivers; (Version 6.0.1928.0).

While this Windows 7 driver/software allows the Bluetooth works very well and also to provide the activation and the deactivation of the Bluetooth module with the mouse, click on (as in Windows 7/Vista/XP), he leaves after error at each reboot of Windows 8:

Do you want the following program to make changes to this computer?

program: instdev
Publisher: toshiba
origin: hard drive
Location: c/program files/toshiba/bluetooth toshiba stack/instdev.exe /btsrv rereg

The answers are 'yes' or 'no', but neither nor seems to make no difference to the functioning of the Bluetooth technology. Bluetooth works, but the annoying message appears again on the next reboot of the system.

The message is triggered by the registry entry next autostart:
ITSecMng-> %ProgramFiles%\TOSHIBA\Bluetooth Toshiba Stack\ItSecMng.exe/Start

No idea how I could get rid of this repetition error?
Thank you very much in advance for any advice.

Hi mate

Toshiba BT stack can be used as part of Toshiba products.
If you own a laptop from another manufacturer, you need to check and install drivers and tools provided by the manufacturer of the laptop.

I have no experience with your laptop, but on my computer Toshiba laptop, I had to install the driver for the Toshiba system before the BT stack to win 8 would be installed.

I think you should check the info to install it on the page of the manufacturer of your laptop.

  • Is signed in to Windows Messenger message on each reboot of Windows XP.

Original title: problem connecting Windows Messenger.

I am constantly (maybe not always) get a connection on the front of Windows Messenger message as my Windows XP Tablet starts and I'm connected to Windows. Then, I need to fill my username and passwords (again - not always) and I always check the box to remember such things. It stores this kind of things like a cookie that is erase my cCleaner or something? Why that often? I'm sick of it and considering only using my Yahoo Messenger, that always records me automatically at startup.

Windows Messenger seems to work fine now. I just disconnected from Windows then recorded on twice, and it connects to Windows Messenger on its own well. I need to go to file > disconnect, then file > sign in during all windows connect to prevent show the signature in the thing forever. If I did these two steps, it would always be quickly connect.

Also... don't know why you say cCleaner deletes passwords. Mine does not work. If I want to erase the passwords, I needed to:

To delete information from Internet Explorer, click on tools > Internet Options. Select the content tab, and then click AutoComplete > settings. Uncheck the user names and passwords on forms, so it will not save those ever. Click on AutoComplete delete history... Now click on the history button to AutoComplete to remove. Check all of the boxes on the next window that you want to remove, and then click on delete - maybe not forms and browsing history

But now I have this feature disabled, I use the password Omnipass software that uses fingerprint for me my reader to log on Windows, and then save the usernames and passwords for all sites. Is a system much better, because it will allow me to see the names of registered users & passwords after proving my identity with a shot of fingerprints. It will also allow me to delete only a single username / password entry if I need to change it, without destroying all others. Also, I can choose to disconnect Omnipass at any time so that the usernames & passwords don't fill up, if I need to temporarily circumvent this.

  • Error computer repair at each reboot of Windows Vista. Startup Repair says error ""could not repair.

    Original title: problem at startup

Whenever I start my system, using windows 7 Ultimate a message for repair (recommended) or windows to start normally. When I go for repair, there nothing give a message "could not repair' why?

    Hello

    1. are you able to boot to the desktop?
2 have you made any changes to the computer before the show?

Method 1: Startup Repair is a Windows Recovery tool that can fix certain system problems that might be preventing Windows to start. Startup Repair scans your computer for the problem and then tries to fix it so that your computer can start correctly
    Reference: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-VISTA/Startup-Repair-frequently-asked-questions

    Method 2:
Windows Vista or Windows 7 unbootable, and the Startup Repair tool does not resolve the problem:
  • Error - the application or DLL is not a valid windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette when trying to open a program or start the computer.

    Original title: bad image.

I get two errors of bad image whenever I open a program or start a computer, for each program.  the error that says "the application or DLL is not a valid windows image. "Please check this against your installation diskette" I don't have any disk and don't know what to do.

These file names, look a little suspicious and didn't get good Google search results, so I think that the first thing to do is to tell us a little about your system.  Now you can enjoy when you report a problem, provide you with any error messages you see and not a part of it (not paraphrase either).

The second thing to do is to try to be reasonably sure that your system is free of malware and then if you have these problems, you can fix them (which would be the third thing to do).

I still wonder why the Microsoft Support Engineer made you reference to an article that makes no sense at all...

    The first thing to do:

Unfortunately, MS Answers forums does not prompt for any information system when a new question is asked, so we don't know anything on your system.

Because the Microsoft Answers forum does not ask for any type of information system when a new question is asked so we don't know anything about your system.  Not knowing the basic information a problem prolongs the frustration and the agony of these issues.

Thank you MS Answers, allowing the resolution of simple problems as frustrating and a lot of time as possible.

Provide information on your system, the better you can:

What is your system brand and model?

Your system have IDE or SATA disks?

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

The question was preceded by a loss of power, aborted reboot or abnormal termination?  (this includes the plug pulling, buttons power, remove the battery, etc.)

The afflicted system has a working CD/DVD (internal or external) drive?

You have a true bootable XP installation CD (it is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?

    The second thing to do:

Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs:
    Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://malwarebytes.org/
    SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/
They can be uninstalled later if you wish.
    The third thing to do:

Restart your computer and solve the outstanding issues.

  • Downloaded Windows 10. Yet, after each reboot, windows 7 restart... no windows 10?

    Original title: Windows 10

I have a laptop with windows 7 installed. I ran a few the applet to see if the laptop is eligible. He did, and I see the windows icon 10 appearing in the task bar. I click on it to get the upgrade and windows starts the download process. Then after it is downloaded double click on the file and it seems to be the installation. This seems to go to the end and I restarted several times when asked to do so.

Yet, after each reboot, windows 7 restart... no windows 10.

    Review:

    Retry the upgrade manually:

    Option 1:

    Download the media creation tool

Click with the right button on the MediaCreationTool.exe file and then click on run as administrator.

Note: How to check if you are downloaded or installed the update Windows 10 November

How to create an ISO or USB drive.

Select upgrade this PC now and then click Next

    Option 2:

    Task of pre-required

When you make significant changes to your computer for example updated operating system, you must always back up. See the links to resources on the backup by clicking the link for each version of Windows you are using: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1

    then

    then

    • Turn off (preferably uninstall) your Antivirus utility before you perform the upgrade.
    • Reboot several times, and then try again.
    • Disable the general USB peripherals (for example - smart card reader).
    • If you are using a SCSI drive, make sure you have the drivers available for your storage on a thumdrive device and it is connected. During the installation of Windows 10, click on the advanced custom Option and use the command load driver to load the driver for the SCSI drive. If this does not work and the installer still fails, consider switching to an IDE based hard drive.
    • Perform a clean boot, restart, and then try again.
    • If you upgrade to the. ISO file, disconnect from the Internet during the installation, if you are connected in LAN (Ethernet) or wireless, disable both, then try to install.
    • If you are updated through Windows Update, when download reaches 100% disconnect from the LAN (Ethernet) Internet or Wi - Fi, then proceed with the installation.
    • If this does not work, try using the. ISO file to upgrade if possible.
    • If you are connected to a domain, go to a local account.
    • If you have an external equipment, attached to the machine, unplug them (example, game controllers, USB sticks, external hard drive, printers, peripherals not essential).
  • Windows Media Player 12 loses library at each reboot of the PC

WMP 12 loses the 'music' in the library after each reboot.  Often, I can get the music content by going to manage the library, by removing the file from WMP, wait 5 minutes, restart WMP, manage the library, add the folder.  But sometimes it refuses to find music and I give up.  A few days later I try again and it works.  When he's stubborn...

    • When I have completed the "add a folder" an arrow appears at the bottom of WMP, to the right of the volume control.  After a few seconds, it signals that the update of the library is finished but the library does contain no music, but sometimes playlists are OK
    • Remove the library files in %userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Media Player does not help.
    • I tried to launch WMP as an administrator. (Not something I really want long-term, but I'll give it a go for a temporary fix).

FYI, my music is on a NAS drive.  It doesn't matter if I'm pointing to the folder via a mapped drive or the full computer name & path.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Tim... It is almost certain because of the SIN. Take a look at this thread and see if there is anything useful here;

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/Windows_7-files/how-do-you-add-a-NAS-device-to-libraries/55447a3a-64c9-431C-ABCB-6f720fd0daaf

Another action that can help (although I'm not offer it as a solution!) is to check that your music + subfolders on the NAS drive is optimized for music by doing a right click and select Properties 'customize' tab and proceed as indicated below. Hope you can solve the problem - Cheers, Ric.

Windows 7 reorganizes my desktop icons after each reboot or after coming out of standby/hibernation.

I am running Windows 7 Build 7100 on a laptop Dell Latitude D830 completely standard (which includes a nVidia Quadro NVS 140 M graphics controller). All drivers are clean windows; I have not replaced all the drivers with vendor-specific versions.

I'm not using a KVM, I'm not using a projector or external monitor, and I never change the resolution of the screen. It couldn't be simpler: I start, move my desktop icons to where I like them, working for a few hours and closed. On the next reboot half of the desktop icons have been moved. There are no error messages or a warning during startup or shutdown, so no reason to explore should be unhappy.

Clearly, this is a bug. But what is the workaround?

  • I am running windows xp sp3, the volume icon disappears from the taskbar on each reboot or shutdown/startup.kindly, help any permanent solution known.

    Hello!
I am running windows xp sp3, the volume icon disappears from the taskbar on each reboot or shutdown/startup.kindly, help with any permanent solution known.i should go to the control panel and to recover it again whenever I turn my on.kindly advice, someone machine me a solution permanently this problem.i want to stay always on the taskbar the volume icon.
the honest answer is expected... Thank you!

    Hello

    Try this:

Control Panel - device - sounds Manager - note manufacturer device name and info on the graduating model.
Double click and get the date and version of the driver (if 06 are dates, you use the default windows driver). Now
Click the DRIVER UPDATE (this can not find anything because MS is far behind the certification of drivers). Now LAW
CLICK above and UNINSTALL - REBOOT - it will refresh the driver stack.

Now, go to the manufacturer of the system and recover the last pilot audio/Hi-Fi as a fall.

Download it - SAVE - go to where you put it - RIGHT CLICK top - RUN AS ADMIN - REBOOT

Now do the same for the manufacturer of the device (the one that made the device - if you were using the default windows
you might need to look in the Device Manager - his new driver).

Often, you will need to run the sound card drivers several times to get the latest version installed and will appear in
Manager - Sound. This is because they make back the drivers one at a time and then finally install the
most recent. Look in the Device Manager to be sure that you have installed the version of the driver is the one showing, if not
run the driver again (reset each time) until the shows a correct.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • Re: Question re use of Toshiba Application Installer

    Hey all.

My model came with a Modem software Toshiba, but I noticed in the Toshiba Application Installer there are a few other modem drivers that are a bit more recent. I installed one of them (Conexant) then uninstalled the Toshiba Software Modem and reboted. When he started, he reinstalled the default Toshiba Software Modem.

So my question is, is it possible to install and use something other than my original modem? I don't know yet if she installed the Conexant. It seemed that this was the case, but it does not appear in the list of installed programs.

As I said, the Toshiba Software Modem was the original, the other two are the software Conexant Modem driver and driver Modem Motorola. I don't know why the other two are still here if they cannot be used with my system.

    Hello everyone,

I have a problem with my laptop (satellite c660-A047) Bluetooth does not work on windows (7 and 8), but it works very well under Linux (Ubuntu, Fedora, Backtrack).

I have an outgoing method :) to do run on windows, start Linux Live then set the Bluetooth adapter to the off State, and then reboot (do not stop, restart only), and then start windows this time this Bluetooth adapter works great and updated automatically in the Device Manager.

To use Bluetooth on windows I have to do the same steps: (.)

If someone wants to know all the details to help me solve these curious case, I will be grateful.

Thanks, looking forward to hearing from you soon.

The laptop supports Wlan Atheros / module combo BT.
This means that a single module shares WiFi and BT connectivity.

Using Win 7 you must add the additional drivers called filter for driver Atheros BT package.
So first the Atheros WLan driver must be installed, secondly Atheros BT filter after battery Toshiba BT.

To help to win 8, you must install two components of driver manually to enable the Bluetooth feature: System Toshiba + Atheros Bluetooth driver driver filter
