Application log error - infinite loop possible

Here is the error. I guess that I have a callhandler with a possible infinite loop, but I don't know which one to look at. How can I go on this stalking? I looked in DOHprop, but didn't know where to begin the search.

    Hello jvecc,.

Thank you for visiting the Microsoft answers community.

This problem is caused by a defective unit or a device driver. Visit the website of the manufacturer of your computer or see if AMd drivers directly will work for your hardware configuration and then uninstall and reinstall your drivers.

  • Is it possible to follow blackberry deployed customer applications logs?

    Hello

I want to follow the blackberry which is given to the customer application logs.

Are there applications to do? or can put us through our code?

    Thanks in advance

    Virginia

    That is a sensitive issue.

If the application has crashed and you did not have a try catch around the piece of code that failed, then the Application will usually write a number of entries in the event log.  The only way to get these entries is to ask the user to open the event log and find them.  It's not trivial.  Even opening the event log can be tricky let along find the entries.  This isn't something that will generally ask you a user to do.

Unfortunately it also isn't one place, you can put a try/catch to intercept all errors.

But it is also not something that happens very often in my experience.  Therefore, if you try to put try/catch around pieces of code that you are worried and make sure that you connect you progress through your app, you should capture most of the things.  And if you connect to RuntimeStore and your application crashes, when the application restarts the journal since just before the crash will be there and the user can easily send you, so I hope that can help you to find the defective area.

    Does that answer the question?

  • Infinite loop error - how to remove?

Only my "home page" will display in Localhost of WampServer, which I use for my "test" site in Dreamweaver CS5. All the other pages of my Web site can be loaded by IE8 or IE9. Firefox and Chrome report that all Web pages (except my ' home page') have a "redirection loop" preventing them to be responsible, and it is because of the links which loop continuously between the same pages.

QUESTION: How can I fix (without starting around build my site)?

I use a model with dynamic Web pages, which have the extension 'php '. I started with the model and HTML Web pages and then convert to the 'php '. They worked well until some time after that I added a login form on my home page, with "User authentication" server behaviors in Dreamweaver. The "login" and "password protected" pages Web worked for awhile. But now it seems that the "Redirect Loop" error could be related to my go-to page in case of connection failure'.

It may or may not be related, but around the same time, my infinite loop problem started, "Editable region" of my stopped homepage display color setting in the form and background mode 'Creation' in Dreamweaver.  However, they display correctly in Dreamweaver 'Live View' and WampServer "localhost".

Any any help will be appreciated.

On this page, it is located towards the end of the upper part of PHP code:

    If (isset($_SERVER['QUERY_STRING']) & strlen($_SERVER['QUERY_STRING']) > 0)
    $MM_referrer. = « ? ». $_SERVER ['QUERY_STRING'];
    $MM_restrictGoTo = $MM_restrictGoTo. $MM_qsChar. "accesscheck =". UrlEncode ($MM_referrer);
    Header ("Location:".) $MM_restrictGoTo);
    "exit";
    }
    ?>

Follow your code for this page and on sub you find an error in your logic.

In regards to your error, I don't really know.  It may have something to do with a PHP error.  When you put it on the server, try running it through a validator PHP.  I can't any validators, but a Google search should provide good results.

  • Satellite P100: BSOD nv4_disp infinite loop playing a game

    Hello

I hope you can see my details of my profiling system, but in case you can't, here are the basic details:

    Satellite P100-113; 2x2.0GHz; 2 GB of memory; XP Pro SP3. Go 7600 256 MB - factory core/mem speed 350 / 400 MHz - no overclocking.
Out of warranty: purchased as a plant-reclamation in 2006. No problem at all until this - great machine!

I tried for 2 weeks to resolve the formidable 'in nv4_disp infinite loop' blue screen of the problem of death, which occurs when playing company of Heroes Opposing Fronts (COHOF). Original COH has always run without any problem.

I think I tracked down what is happening. Using RivaTuner, I took a log of data GPU, both in the general use of Windows and by practicing a COHOF game. I had just downloaded a "fix" claimed this infinite loop problem; referenced in the nvidia forum.
I think it was the only reason that the game did not plant this time, so that I could look at the newspaper. But this has not yet resolved the problem.

What is clear, according to the journal of Riva, it's the GPU speeds are usually 0/0 on Windows. Then, every few minutes, he crawls up to something like 198/135, for only 10-20 seconds and then again. This, in my opinion, has always happened, because it is accompanied by a rapid acceleration of the fan and a "sigh" to air for a few seconds. The machine has always done since I bought it, and it is not a problem in normal conditions (i.e. not game) use.

But here'w what happened in the game. After playing about 30 minutes (I noted earlier), the game suddenly stuttered horribly, so I thought it might be breaking. FPS increased from typical of 30-40 something like 0.5 to 2 FPS. And this continued for another 15 minutes (I went to play, with gritted teeth, in order to obtain good log data).

Looking at the newspaper of Riva, what happened at that time was one of these speed GPU rampdowns: down 351/398 expected 198/198 - just for about 15 seconds, then go back to the top to 351/398. Given that the "infinite loop" error includes a description "device driver entered an infinite loop waiting for the material to answer", I am fairly certain that it is the cause of the infinite loop BSOD: If the GPU suddenly decides to run at reduced speed in half, under heavy load (COHOF has often been described as the ultimate stress-test system) , you expect this kind of error occurs. I suspect that this is the point to which I would have had a crash "infinite loop" - but perhaps the 'fix', I downloaded caught the ball and prevented the usual total crash.

Temperature: absolutely perfect. I use a Zalman cooler under the machine. Riva reports temperatures GPU 51 c (idle), maxing out at a constant C 66-68 without crampons (load, COHOF). So, my driver unless (I tried 84.4 - later, Toshiba or 91.33, 156.13, 164 something laptopvideo2go.com) is a misinterpretation of the temperature data and imagine that the card needs to be rested (because the driver thinks, it's hitting the ceiling of 115 HP.), is not an overheating problem.

The fact that go up and down this rise has always happen, even with the original drivers installed at the factory from Toshiba (the regular intermittent fan 'sighs') makes me think that this is part of Toshiba design for integration of the Go 7600 in this machine. Perhaps something of the power management, or to extend the life of the chip. (I have all the settings of power-mgmt software I can find the value "grass of the battery, give me performance", since I usually use the machine plugged).

Now, it of very well under Windows, does not cause problems. But he won't. The GPU is ramping down, without apparent reason, while COHOF is throwing a huge workload on it.

    Issues related to the:
    1. How can I disable this behavior ramp - at least temporarily to play COHOF? I've never heard of a GPU accelerates its speed goes up and down depending on the load, so I doubt it's problem of nVidia.
    2. can I get an updated driver for this machine? The most recent is 84.4.0. Of course, it is possible to download drivers from laptopvideo2go.com modded-, but I suspect that these pilots to leave out some specific Toshiba 'magical' that manages the specific details of this card in this machine. (p. ex. or SpeedFan and Riva can detect any fans in my system, which suggests that Toshiba took control of the fan "under the hood" somehow).
    3. where can I get an update BIOS/firmware for the Go 7600? You can find anything on the net, apart from that!

Looks like I need to take this with a hardcore of Toshiba tech (I don't know if Toshiba supports log on this forum); But if someone reads this and has a time "click - I know that this", please post some ideas as to what I can do.

    Hey Buddy

It seems that this Toshiba forum is only a user forum, and it seems there are only Toshiba users here and not technicians.

In any case if I understand you problem described in your long ad, the graphic issue appears only this specific game (company of Heroes Opposing Fronts).

In my opinion, the graphics driver is not fully compatible with this game or your game does not support the nVidia Driver
So it s not a problem with the laptops hardware, but compatibility issues between the two parties game<->graphics driver software

I think a graphics driver update (if available) might help.

Here are my responses regarding the points:

    (1) as I said above, I think that the graphics driver update might help to
    (2) according to my experience, all the latest drivers graphics (and other drivers) are published on the Toshiba driver website
    (3) you can find only a Toshiba BIOS on the Toshiba driver page. BIOS or firmware update graphic card is unknown to me and to be honest I don t think it would exist.

    See you soon

  • Infinite loops AUTOCHK and CHKDSK

Question: How do I fix the curls AUTOCHK and CHKDSK when everything has failed?

Summary: a new HARD drive, with a cloned image of WinXP infected with the malware that has been cleaned thoroughly, continues to show c: System file Dirty bit is set.  A 5-step forced CHKDSK /f or CHKDSK /r does not resolve the problem.  System seems to be 100% clean and works great except for the 'stuck' Dirty bit on C:.  Dirty bit can be effectively ignored by using CHKNTFS /x c: but Scandisk and Defrag cannot be run - probably other problems also.  Yet to try to solve this problem without wiping and starting over.

HP Pavilion zd8000 w / WinXP Media Center 2005.  Wouldn't boot - ran an endless cycle of 3 floors AUTOCHKs and reboots.  If AUTOCHK was cancelled, WinXP would charge sometimes, but very slowly... HARD drive certainly wasn't.  Originally mounted 4200 RPM HARD drive on another box, and then managed to copy data from it.  The host received warnings which disc can have errors. Ghost to clone a new 5400 RPM HARD drive.

Installed new HARD drive in the laptop computer and used MBAM, HitMan, RKill and ComboFix to fix many and varied, the viruses and Trojans (but not sure exactly what horses Trojan or virus, sorry).  Possible one of these viruses caused BSOD 0X0000007b error when you try to start in Safe Mode; This has been resolved during the elimination of viruses and removing Windows updates specific here:

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/windows_xp-windows_update/blue-screen-error-0x0000007B-in-Windows-XP-after/73cea559-ebbd-4274-96bc-e292b69f2fd1

    and here:

Once the infections were party, and after having passed the safe boot, WinXP has continued to report corrupt files ("exception processing message c00001012") as well as the event ID 55 ('file system on the disk structure is damaged and unusable. Please run the CHKDSK utility on the volume C:\ ") and the same loop AUTOCHK 3 floors at each start.

Performed repair installation using the original media.  Was now SP2 WinXP SP3, after repair.  Delay further updates pending the resolution of this problem.

The laptop runs great now - except that the dirty bit seems to be permanently set to C: - Defrag will not work because it says a CHKDSK /f is planned.  No more "exception processing message" error (either suspect that some windows files were actually corrupt, possibly by the Virus, probably by previous disk HDD error, but were repaired and then repairing install it).

FSUTIL always reports that C: is dirty.

I set myself the CHKNTFS /x C: and prevents the AUTOCHK running on every boot - now it starts and works apparently without problems, except that the dirty bit is always fixed.  I didn't understand if CHKNTFS /x C: should be prohibiting the AUTOCHK run on each startup, but it is that its weight without worrying... in other words, I don't have to reset CHKNTFS /x C: before each start, it seems to be "permanently" together.  I don't think that it is the function of the switch...

I ran CHKDSK /f C: both CHKDSK /r C: under this condition (with CHKNTFS /x together) and the two CHKDSK 5 or 3 floors seemed to run successfully every time and respectively - however they also result in an infinite loop of CHKDSKs at startup.  These are not the same that the 'normal' AUTOCHK loop system is stuck with FSUTIL /d together.  I interpret this as meaning that both the ordinary AUTOCHK and the CHKDSK manually invoked are unable to successfully disabled the Dirty bit despite not finding any errors.

After the /d C: FSUTIL reset system always presents the same loop AUTOCHK 3 floors on each boot.  Event ID 55 continues to be connected when it is started under CHKNTFS d, is not connected when it is started under CHKNTFS/x.

    Hello ReallyWildStuff,

If chkdsk not clear the dirty bit, that would be my recommendation to format and do a non graphic installation.

At this point, it would be the only way to definitively say that there is no hardware problem on the disk or controller.

As you have a picture of the previous installation, I assume that all the data is secure.

Let us know what the results are.

    Best regards

  • Computer starts and restarts in an infinite loop at startup.

Received this e-mail from Comcast around 2 April 2013 stating my computer may have a 'bot '. This function constant guard of Comcast. On 5 April, my computer started this start and restart * in an infinite loop. I took the computer manufacturer and all wiped out settings. Comcast removed free Norton antivirus and replaced by Webroot. When the infinite loop finally stops, I just leave the computer on and log off because if I stop, it will begin to restart in an endless loop. I sent email them back and ask them if they are sent, and if it was a fake, and their response was like they didn't know what I was asking. Knuckleheads! I am lucky to be online now. He ran into an infinite loop, start and restart hours today. Help!

    Hi Michell,

    1. don't you make changes to the computer before the show?
    2. What do you mean by "I have always received this e-mail from duplication of constant guard of Comcast?

Method 1: I suggest to disable automatic reboot and then check if the problem persists.

(Including safe mode) advanced startup options (disable automatic reboot system error)

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows7/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode

Method 2: I would say too you will observer event logs to check what is causing the problem.

    Open event viewer
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows7/open-Event-Viewer

What are the information contained in the logs of the event (Event Viewer)? http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows7/what-information-appears-in-event-logs-event-viewer

Post us the results once you try the steps above.

  • Infinite loop of "Failure to configure Windows updates" Windows 8

    Hello

Recently, I completely reset my laptop Windows 8. After reset, I installed all the updates (there were about 90) and restart as prompted. However, now the PC is stuck in an infinite loop trying to configure the updates, or configure them, then reboot and try again.

Like I can't pass the configuration screens, I can not troubleshoot or do anything since the PC itself and it's very frustrating and I don't know what to do.

    Hello

This problem might have occurred because of these reasons:

    1 external.

    2. bad Windows Update settings.

    3. conflicts between third party applications.

I suggest to start the computer using safe mode and then attempt to perform the steps in the article.

Step 1: Start the computer in Mode safe.

Start settings for Windows (including safe mode)
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/Windows-startup-settings-safe-mode

Step 2: Try the steps outlined in the article.

"Configuration of the Windows updates failed. Restoration of the changes. Do not turn off your computer"error when you try to install Windows updates
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/949358/en-us

    Note:

    1. When you perform the system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.
    2. Please do not perform upgrade in-place or reinstalling Windows.
    3. After the boot minimum troubleshooting step, follow the "How to reset the computer to start as usual after a clean boot troubleshooting" section in the link provided to return the computer to a Normal startup mode.

  • Installation of Flash player 19.0.0.185 - message "Application initialization error."

After reading about the history of critical Flash Player update 23 patch flaws | PCWorld , I followed the link on the page update the version on my laptop at the 19.0.0.185.

Before that I did I ran a scan antivirus to my laptop, using the Kaspersky Security Total program, showing that the already installed version of flash player is a vulnerable program that needed to be updated. Then I uninstalled the current version and tried to upgrade to the new version 19.0.0.185.

When I tried to install the update, I saw the message "Application initialization error." I tried this update several times with the same result.

My laptop is running Windows 7 Home Premium x 64 SP1 Build 7601, Internet Explorer 11 with Kaspersky Total Security 2015 (15.0.2.361).

Please can someone help me to get this issue resolved because I want to try to get this installed update as soon as possible.

    Hi stewartb1985,

I would get the Installer log file of your part online for further investigation.  Follow these steps:

    1. Launch Windows Explorer and navigate to C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Temp\
    2. Create a file named ADM.trace empty text (right-click in an empty area and select new > text Document and name it ADM.trace).
    3. Rerun Online Setup until it returns the error
    4. In Windows Explorer, go to C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Temp\Adobe_ADMLogs
    5. Download the two files, Adobe_ADM.log and Adobe_GDE.log, by following the instructions that the specified item was not found.
    6. Post the link to the files downloaded in your response.

Can Kaspersky interferes with the update.  Can you try disabling Kaspersky and Setup?  Please do after getting the log files.

If you continue to receive the error with disabled Kaspersky, please try the installer in offline mode, posted at the bottom of the Installation problems | Flash Player | Windows page in the section "problems".

Please provide the log file because it will help determine why the error is returned.

    Thank you.
