  Help, I have a small embroidery business and have used a program called Embird.  Yesterday, I downloaded an upgrade for this program. It said to uninstall the old program before installing the new, so I did.  Now when I try to install the new one it says this link must be opened with an application, select application.  I have no idea what it means that someone can help me?  I tried to restore the computer to a date prior to just start all over hoping he would restore the old Embird, it says that the file may be damaged and will not work.

  Follow these steps:

  In both cases, it only starts the BBM application.

  Since it is a unrelated call, I would expect sheet of selection of the app to show where I could choose NFC Bluetooth, messaging, Facebook, etc. and the plethora of other applications that support sharing.

  I had this problem as well a couple of weeks and solved it. When you call and independent, the system will select a logon request. You is better to use a call related, but do not specify a target.

  An application on my iPhone crashed. I could just restore this app and restore my iTunes backup data and not to make a complete iPhone?

  Restoration of no.. A is all or nothing. Assuming that it is a third-party application, you can remove one application and reinstall it from the App Store.

• Funky problem continuously with a specific application

  This problem could be related to how this app was designed, but I thought someone here might know a hardware fix. Streaming of any application to airports is easy-peasy, but this particular application of the Apple TV streaming is a real struggle - but only about half the time.

  I use the NPR News app on my 5th Gen iPod Touch (iOS 9.3.2) to broadcast local and national programming to my two Airport Express base stations and the 3rd Gen Apple TV connected to my TV external speakers. Here's what happens:

  When it works, I go to the application, select the Apple TV in Airplay, a small rectangle in the bottom left of the TV attached with the name of the application, the screen turns off, a loading circle appears and the stream plays with a TV screen.

  When it does not work, I start the application, select Apple TV Airplay, the small rectangle with the name of the application appears for a second or two, the TV display goes back to the home screen of the Apple TV and streaming does not start when I repeatedly go to other applications and back or change the speakers. Finally, after a lot of switching autour, Airplay gives me two additional choices that do not appear when I'm streaming any another application: 'Apple TV' so that the Apple TV 3 with a mirrored rocker, and/or Apple TV 4 with a toggle.* of mirroring at this time where the flow does not work unless I choose Apple TV 3 or 4 and mirror of the touch screen. Mirroring very well, but when I can't use the key for something else. • Update of my applications

  Hi, I got my iMac for 12 months now but still have a problem of updating some applications.

  I can update the o/s without problem but get this error message when you try to update keynote, Numbers, Pages, iMovie, GarageBand, iPhoto.

  The message says: "Update not available with this Apple ID."

  Any ideas?

  Please test after each of the steps that you have not already tried it. Stop when the problem is resolved. Back up all data before making any changes. Remember, no one here is Apple or can help in problems of service the customer.

  Step 1

  If you have recently changed something in your Apple ID account (for example, the password), log out of the App Store and reconnect.

  Step 2

  A purchased app can only be updated by logging into the App Store with the same identifier Apple which was originally used to buy it.   I found a solution that works for me...

  1 goto /Applications/iPhoto.app/Contents/Resources

  2 delete the files 'googlemap.html' and googlesearch.html

  IPhoto no longer crashes, site does not work, but it doesn't bother me too much.

  Deletes two files "googlemap.html" and the googlesearch.html of iPhoto application bundle prevents the JavaScript running inside and causing the accident.  To access the files inside the iPhoto application select it in the Finder and ctrl-click on it. Then use the command "Show Package Contents" from the menu.  Open the content subfolder and then resources.

  Do not try this fix without making a copy of the iPhoto application before trying to delete the two files of the entire application.

• Update of applications using Desktop Manager

  Hi, I can't update my application via the Desktop Manager.

  I downloaded the first version of my application successfully on my Blackberry Curve 8520, but whenever I try to update the app it works than the first version.

  I've updated the version number of the app in the xml descriptor (using Eclipse plugin 1.3.0).) Then, I went the Application in the Desktop Manager (version 5.0.1) and accessed loader to my files .alx file, making sure that the updated file. The version number for my application in the application selection window is correlated with the version number, that I gave in the descriptor file.

  I click on 'Next' and then 'Finish' but the app is never updated on the device! I tried to remove the app, creating a new version number and then download again, but still the device only works the first version.

  Am I missing something? Help, please!

  JavaLoader is included in the plugin folder.

  its use is:

  load Javaloader u wpassword - Filename.cod

  (w is the setting of the password, if you don't have a password on the device or want to enter during the loading, you can omit it)

  You can also load the jad (sometimes less), it loads the cod automatically then.  This brings additional information in the list of devices of app.

  You can replace the name of the seller and the application of your project properties. (Right-click on the project-> properties...-> general tab).

  And you can use AplicationPermissionsManager (net.rim.device.api.applicationcontrol.ApplicationPermissionsManager) and ApplicationPermissions (net.rim.device.api.applicationcontrol.ApplicationPermissions) class to define you confirmation by programming. See the javadoc for more details.

  Also, you can set permissions manually using Options - Advanced Options - Applications, select
  your application in the list, open the menu and select "edit permissions".

  I push my application to the real device (BB 8300, 8700), but I can't do it like now to see in advance-> request Options as previously he was showing me the request and where I also deleted.

  But now I am not able to see my folder in the Advance Options-> application that I pushed in the real device and not able to remove it.

• WARNING blackBerry Smartphones: 3 rd Party Applications and new software update

  Warning about the 3rd party applications: I recently downloaded 5-10 3 rd party applications on my Blackberry Curve 8310.  All seemed well for the first day or two, but then after that my phone started himself reboot over and over again. The only thing I could do and that he would keep on had to continuously press the back (arrow).  It was extremely difficult to erase the applications on the phone while having this button is used to keep on. Finally, I kept it long enough to completely wipe the phone and reload the OS software and do a restore on all content.  It was the only thing that helped.

  After I got my phone working again, I noticed that some of the service books were somehow deleted during this process. I had to go on my site of BIS of service providers (google to find the website of your provider BIS) and I had to return the service directories to my phone. After that, I noticed that my APN, username and password have been deleted... For google, I got that as well to find the right APN address to type to get my internet and other functions running.  Now, I noticed that my notebook, brickbreaker and tasks are missing from my list of icons and the list of the Applications on my phone. URGH! Now I had to re-download the new software and while recharging it I had to make sure I clicked on advanced and made sure that these elements have been verified to download as well.

  ... NOW, my phone is restarting again.

  DON'T MAKE THIS MISTAKE! IT OF ME GIVIN SUCH A MASSIVE HEADACHE! I AM READY TO THROW MY PHONE OUT THE FREAKING WINDOW. SERIOUSLY... WHAT GIVES?

  UPDATE:

  Well, I figured out how to get my Notepad, password keeper, and the brick breaker back... and since I have redownloaded the software and restarted my phone, everything seems to work very well.  If you just installed the new software and you miss now your Notepad, password keeper and brickbreaker icons, here's what you do:

  1. open your BB Desktop software and connect your phone.

  2. click on Application Loader

  3. click on start under Update Applications

  4. click on Check For Updates in the lower right corner of the screen. This will redirect you to the page of the BB software.

  5. from this page, you want to click on Blackberry Device Software in the left column.

  6. click on the button update now.

  7. click on the update button. This will pull up the BB Desktop.

  8. from this screen, click Options. The device Application selection page should open.

  9. here you want to scroll down and tick all that you are missing as: Notepad, password keeper, etc.

  10. click Next.

  11. click on finish

  You are only halfway done... Now you must do the following to get your old memos and passwords that have been stored in these dos applications.  I hope that you have a backup that you saved before installing the new software.  Otherwise you are about to lock but if you have it, it's what you do:

  1. in the main menu of the BB Desktop click on the backup and restore

  2. click on advanced, on the right.

  3. in the upper left corner of the screen click on file, then open.

  4. search your saved backup file, and click on the one you want.

  5. now, in the left column, you will see roughly the same thing that is in the right column. You can click on those that you are missing, one by one and add to your phone by clicking on the ">" arrows.  Specifically, you will want to click on: Blackberry Messenger, Memo Pad Options, memos, guard password, password Keeper Options, tasks, tasks Options.

  Hope this helps anyone who was having the same problem as me!

  A little while ago, I wiped my "BOLD" and more to get rid of clutter that can be hung in the background.
  I noticed that the charger tilts an English Dictionary / Chinese from a company called Microhill as being installed.
  I had tried a few products like this before, but how would he got back on the phone? I certainly have not reinstalled one of them since I wiped it.

  I found that making your way is not always delete all applications 3rd party for any reason any! The operating system clean install works fine using Desktop Manager.

  You can try deleting the app Options > Advanced Options > Applications, select the application, press the menu/blackberry and 'delete '. Databases have nothing to do with the apps, so it shouldn't affect the installation or remove the application.
