Applications on device blackBerry Smartphones install to SD card?
How can I do this? I think I either apps too much or not enough internal memory. Any suggestion is welcome.
No, you can't 'install' them to map of Meda.
You can use the application loader Aerize which stores the file installation on your map and then installs the application on demand, but this is the best you will get.

Updates the device blackBerry Smartphones application
Recently, when I am connected to BB Desktop Manager, updates available. I agree with all of the updates and he did it successfully. However, whenever I now connect to Desktop Manager, I receive the same message saying that the same updates are available. If I agree to them, he then tells me no updates are available. How can I get rid of this message.
Hello
In this case, we can try to reload the software on the BlackBerry smartphone to make sure she is running the most recent version and there is no problems with the operating system on the device.
To do this, we would need to back up the BlackBerry Smartphone. Please open the BlackBerry Desktop Manager and plug in your device. Click the backup and restore options, and then select Save. Note the location where the backup is saved will allow us to access later to restore the BlackBerry smart phone.
Once you have saved your BlackBerry smart phone, please follow the link below to complete a clean reload of the Smartphone BlackBerry software.

Switching devices blackBerry Smartphones using the Desktop Manager
I just got my Torch 9800 replacement since my first only the battery was drainning (apparently a common problem).
Until I returned my old Torch 9800 I backed up and also used the device switch option in Desktop Manager. When it asked me to connect the new device, I unplugged the old camera, he took to the shop orange and then plugged my new camera.
Then an error has occurred and asked me to update the software on the new device. I did it... and then when I use switching devices, it asks me to connect the current device but the problem is... I don't have the camera more.
As I backed up all the data, I did a restore. He restored most of the data, but it has not restored my apps.
Any idea on how I can do?
I hope it is interesting all that.... and I get a better battery life this time!
Hi and welcome to the Forums!
Ah... never mind. While the device switch Wizard can indeed move a few apps, the backup/restore process does not have applications. So, in the State you are in, you must go to the source of your applications and re - get them. If you by AppWorld, the process is very smooth:
- KB17625 How to install or transfer has already purchased apps from BlackBerry App World for BlackBerry smartphone
If you have from other sources, then you should see if these sources are a simple way for you. I hope you have good record of all your activation keys... and some will indeed have to be regenerated some developers to attach the key on the BB SPINDLE, which is now different since you have a new device.
Good luck!

Your device blackBerry smartphones had a problem connecting to the server

What is the problem with my phone now? Usually, I get the error "this application has encountered an error and cannot continue" I want just my email in return. For the most part, I get "your device had a problem connecting to the server.

Hello and welcome to the community!
I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):
(1) registry HRT
- KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
(2) remove and return Service directories
- KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
- KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
(3) restart to take batt
- Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.
I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact TM for formal support.
Good luck!

Language of on device blackBerry Smartphones
Hey guys
My bold 9700 comes back from repair and now I can't change my language in Dutch, it is all in English, not that it is a huge problem, but I prefer to have my phone in Dutch.
I tried
Options > language and input text >
and the only option I get is 'R '.
Anyone know how I can change the language on my Blackberry settings?
Thank you very much
Hello
You must download and install the European BlackBerry OS of any mobile operator device. Once device OS is installed then use Desktop Manager to choose / installed language.

BlackBerry smartphones installed upgrading to 4.5 on device
On my Curve 8320, I get an almost constant hourglass. Blackberry, KD 10307 technical solutions, I decided to reinstall the operating system. I currently have 4.2.2.180 (Platform 2.5.0.36) on my device. On the site of my provider, T-Mobile, I downloaded the device software 4.5.0.81.exe. I also downloaded the latest desktop manager they had, 4.6.0.14.
I have followed all the instructions and run the Setup program on the 4.5.0.81.exe and the installation wizard tells me he had put in place. But the Director of office did not open automatically and I can't seem to install. The section of requests to update in the Desktop Manager application loader section tells me I'm completely up to date and that no new applications can be found. I can't load it manually, since it puts in Windows as an .exe file and not as an application loader file. I have to miss an easy step here. I tried the things I found in the forums and technical support, such as a restart. Can someone help me? Thank you very much.
Bob
1. download and install the latest version of the desktop PC Manager
2 download the new OS you want and install it on the PC
3. open the Desktop Manager and do a full backup of your current device.
4 delete the vendor.xml file located in c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader
(#4 is optional if you are installing an operating system that is downloaded by the carrier to which your device is brand).
5. plug in the BB and open the Desktop Manager
6. Select Application Loader
7. you will be prompted to upgrade

Applications blackBerry Smartphone installation on SD card, NO device memory
I just got my first ever BlackBerry (the bold), after using Windows PDA for several years. I installed a few third-party applications (a few E-books) by using the Desktop Manager. I don't see an option to choose if I wanted the apps on the SD card or in the device memory, so I guess that they went to the memory of the device.
Is it possible to install apps like e-books on the SD card instead of the device memory?
Thank you.
Adam
Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.
No, it isn't. Apps won't load on press card.
You can use a third-party application, Aerize App Loader, to load the Setup file for an application to the media card, and if necessary, aerize will install the application in the device memory.

BlackBerry smartphones install Applications on Blackberry 7.1
Does anyone have an idea if there is an option to install apps on external memory card using blackberry 7.1 (Blackberry Curve 9320) instead of their installation on the internal memory which is very poor (only 512 MB).
Hello amietmadan
When we install games or theme, they will be stored on your device memory no media card. You can install themes on your device it will not take much space and for games, I prefer to install just the ones you want because our device needs space to run properly.

BlackBerry Smartphones installed BBDM 5.0 and it does not connect to the device
I upgraded from 4.6 to 5.0 BBDM and since the BBDM does not recognize my Curve 8330. Follow the instructions in troubleshooting and they do not seem to work. Do a soft reset and it has not fixed either. Get always "none" in the PIN field on the bottom right of the homepage BBDM. Any other suggestions? . . . I've updated because the Roxio Media Manager was not working in 4.6, nor was I able to sync contacts or calendar with Lotus Notes 8, in order to reverse does not seem to be a good option.
Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.
Try to disconnect the BlackBerry to the PC, turn off the PC and allow it to restart.
Meanwhile, with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.
Make sure your USB cable is talk to a usb port of the PC, not a USB hub or REAR port PC before.
Try again to establish the connection.

Applications available for blackBerry Smartphones
Can I buy for my Curve 8520 newly gifted GSP? And what other useful applications should I look for? I'm 81, retired and nothing else to do but to be thrilled by the possibilities of this wonderful instrument.

See this page of product specifications:
The 8520 has no internal GPS radio physics no software can overcome this physical limitation. You be relegated outside devices only, connected either via USB or BT, they are on the market, but I have no idea which are compatible with your specific model BB. You should look in GPS units that you like and then inquire of these manufacturers, if they are compatible with your BB.
Browndot513 wrote:

It is a difficult question... "useful" is a personal and subjective thing. I suggest you install AppWorld and browse here to see what would be useful to your different needs, desires and tastes.
I also suggest that spend you some time at this place:
Good luck and welcome to the world of BB!
