  My problem is that my Bing Apps.
  I have upgraded to Windows 8 Pro 7 without problem. I ran the application Bing weather and asked that he finds my location - it was more than 100 miles on. I couldn't remove it then uninstalled the app hoping I could reinstall, but couldn't figure out how.

  OK, I had to reinstall programs, a nuisance, but that's all. However, all my Bing apps are now gone.
  They appear in "all apps" in the store, but under profile DOUGW-PC (the name of my PC) I can't access. I can't find a way to install them on the only account I can access.  And I paid directly for a couple of them.
  Not a good general experience despite the fact that the upgrade went well.

  This has happened to all of my Apps - those who came with Windows and those that are installed on the APP store. The convenience store showed no problems. Reinstall does not help and I could not uninstall, as they were not available.
  However, I found a solution - a real uninstall instead of the uninstall normally, using a PowerShell script: http://www.howtogeek.com/138752/use-powershell-to-remove-multiple-modern-apps-from-windows-8/ I managed to uninstall those I wanted to use, and this time when I reinstalled the they all revealed in the tiles of departure.

  I wish that Microsoft could understand that when they say that this update will remove all applications from other web pages that they are actually referring to what Microsoft has used to call programs. I thought apps were talking apps such as hear normally.

  The thing is I'm about to reinstall the OS (Win 7 x 64) and I searched for pilots who would be needed for my g6-1354er. I would like to have their (or, at least, some of them, like pilots for network controllers) downloaded before installation, just in case if I wouldn't be able to connect to the internet using the default drivers for windows only. And I found that many drivers that were previously installed on the laptop are more recent (the versions and dates are newer) than those that are NOW available on the official website of hp. For example, Realtek PCIE CardReader - my current version of the driver is 6.2.9200.28137 (25.01.2013), but the version availiably for download is 6.1.7601.85 11.0 M (2011-10-24). Broadcom Bluetooth 4.0 - my current version of the driver is 6.5.1.3703 (08.01.2013), the version that availiably to download is 6.5 (2011-11-01), etc.

  I know, I'm probably missing or do not understand something here, but I really want to know what is happening with all these version numbers and dates. Thank you very much. Sorry for the grammar and everything I made mistakes.

  Drivers on the HP site doesn't are not updated as often - generally only for big bugs or new OS releases.

  The companies who created the particular PC (for example, Realtek, Broadcom) part release more often, drivers that are downloaded and updated automatically in the background when they are available, that your drivers end up more recent than those offered by HP. essentially, HP are too lazy to update the drivers offered on their website.

  From my experience, the wifi does not work after an operating system reinstalled until its driver is installed, but the ethernet connection. Once the PC has an internet connection, you can configure it to check for driver updates and it will download whatever it takes.

  I upgraded to El Capitan (10.11.3) and now the calendar and Contact applications are missing. I was not iCloud used for backup or restore.

  Before the upgrade, I was running 10.6.8. I had a Time Machine backup on an external USB drive.

  I went to Time Machine to restore the applications, but they are missing in the Applications folder. Strangely, the address book more older (v9.0) and iCal (v5.0.3) apps are here. I copied them to the computer and I can run them. My contacts reappear in somehow, but not my calendars.

  I had the calendar and Contacts before the backup, and they worked normally.

  I can't find a way to download the latest calendar and contacts applications. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I would like to reinstall OS X from your recovery disk. I do not know what effect (if any) installation of older applications will have...

  I noticed today that GarageBand, Keynote, and Numbers appear as paid on the App Store for me. I was under the impression that they were free apps and I think I remember not even appear as free. Are they free of charge only during a certain period of time or have I missed something?

  My son has a filter "allowed list only" on his account, however, sites I have on the list of my son are now blocked and even if I try to reapprove them, they are always blocked.  I tried everything I can think of.  It is obviously not a computer problem because it does the same thing on the computer and the laptop.  Help, please!

  I did the following and it fixed the problem where the authorized sites were blocked:

  1. remove the PC from the parental control Web site (they get automatically added when you go through the following steps)
  2 turn off parental control on the PC under control panel, the Parental control (in the drop-down list, select 'None')
  3 reset (perhaps not required, but I still just to be sure everything is reset)
  4 re - activate parental control on the PC under control panel, the Parental control (in the drop-down list, select "Windows Live Family Safety")
  5. from the Parental control, select the user account that you want to activate for parental control and go through the standard process
  6. connect to the family Web site security and web to DISABLE filtering for the account, click Save.
  7. right click on the parental control in the right lower bar icon and select "open family safety filter.
  8. click on the circular icon blue arrows in the upper right corner of the dialog box to refresh the parental control settings.
  9. open a few websites to ensure that you can access.
  10 sign in to the family safety website again and ENABLE web filtering for the account, click Save.
  11. yet once, click on the circular icon blue arrows in the upper right corner of the dialog box to refresh the parental control settings.
  12 should now work (work sites permit, unauthorized sites do not work)

  I did these steps on each of my children PCs and they work now.

• 'Apps are right' notification of blackBerry Z10

  I had to do a clean-up of security on my Z10 and then restore. Who worked without problem except that now I have a notification 'all apps are right' that is displayed along the bottom of the screen when I close an app everybody knows how to get rid of it, so it is not pop up whenever I close an application? I tried to look in the settings and notifications but had no luck.

  There is not a frame of power for this message.

  It will disappear after a few hours / day after the upgrade.

  I've never seen this last more than half a day after my updates.

  My problem has been resolved by Adobe engineers. It seems that automatic resettlement carried out by sets of upgrade to win 10 everything to "run as Administrator". The simple solution, they told me was to disable this limitation and now everything works as it should.

• I've just updated to 25.0 and I noticed the drop-down history menu has been simplified and back, forward and home are now gone. These can be restored?

  I'm running on a Mac (Lion) with 25.0 FF. I usually hide the toolbar because I like the most on my screen space without having to switch to full screen mode. So I usually use a custom keyboard command to navigate forwards and backwards in my browser session, but sometimes the keyboard command fails and the page does not. In the past, all I had to do was go to the history of the menu drop-down and choose "Back" or "Forward." I also use the selection 'Home' to return to my home page. But since I updated to 25.0 these choices are now gone in the history menu.

  Is it possible to restore them? And are they gone for all users (was that a global change) or one of my addons just aren't playing nice and causing this problem? TIA!

  In FF17, a major change was made to the return value of the function tosource beat not only this but many other modules as well. Now I don't have a problem with a change in standards and demanding that everyone to update the code to work with it. But this has been managed in completely the wrong way by Mozilla IMO.

  Where is the support for the community of the add-on that has loyally supported your product all these years and giving them a good chance of migration/change code works with the new function return values?
  Why is there no timetable with a phase-in plan and a date limit for these changes?

  Heck, a phase-in plan could include a period of transition where the service would support two methods by issuing an additional parameter for the new feature. Then you can switch the main return gradually to be the new format. The existing plugins path would still be fine.

  It seems a little horrible from the end-user point of view suddenly not having this nice tool that enhances the experience of firefox so much. I know that many feel this way even on this add-on I've seen countless comments on it, and I'm sure that many others feel that way about the modules they use and which are now broken too.

  I am writing here to ask Mozilla to propose a fix, or the whole community to see if there is a workaround/half measure that could be found. Perchance write a function JS that could be included/injected in the addons broken convert/reformat the response to this function call so it remains usable to them with the data they need?

  I really hope that someone can find a temporary solution for everyone until more permanent can be developed.

  When using firefox, my browser froze that I ran out of memory. I tried to close some windows, but the browser has been suspended, however it was frozen, I had to force so quit smoking. When I re firefox open all my favorites have disappeared, as well in the bookmark folder and the toolbar. I tried to restore, but it gives the error message "Unable to process The Backup File". I tried after the support pages with no luck.
  I also tried 15.0.1 to 14.0.1 decommissioning but it made no difference.
  Also, I noticed when I was with google to search for help all hyperlinks are now showing in black instead of blue! What is happening with several web pages.

  Is it possible to manually restore the bookmarks folder or is it impossible? I can't understand how to solve this problem.

  I would like to say that I solved this problem myself.
  Decided to risk using the button 'Reset firefox' (help > troubleshooting information > reset Firefox) which worked a treat. As soon as I pressed it, everything has been restored! I am surprised that I have found that this referred to in the help docs.

  The extension of CheckPlaces can restore the favicons. It is also ideal for checking the bookmarks to make sure they are still valid.
