  If your laptop computer is in idle mode, it isn't normal that the fan still works. Normally it should start and stop as on other models.

  Graphics INTEL HM55 should be allowed for such purposes and the 3D graphics accelerator is supported too.

• Satellite C660 - no display

  I have a portable Satellite C660 is only a couple months unused and too expensive. I turned it on the other day, but the screen is completely blank. The laptop makes sounds 'beeps '. One, fairly high long beep, followed by two beeps in burst but the same height. This cycle occurs every 30 seconds or more. It's okay if it is plugged in or running on the battery, the results are the same. I also noticed that the machine does is not that warm.   To be honest I put t think you can do a lot to solve this problem of cracking noise wait contact an authorized service provider for help because it must be a hardware problem but that s just my personal opinion.

  On the Toshiba site, you can find a list of aspic. Just look for an ASP in your country and get in touch with the guys. I m what they help you and will tell you more information on this subject and what to do now.

• Key records is not on Satellite C660

  The keyboard on my month Satellite C660 often doesn't seem to work properly 100% - lack of characters, double and generally does not record the capital letter when you use the SHIFT key (shows apital rather than Capital). It is intermittent then maybe a software issue - something running in the background and taking up resources (although surprising because it is a fairly fast machine).

  I have Office 2010, Kaspersky, and is normally connected to the internet through a USB router.

  Has anyone else had this problem or found a solution?
