Architectural Desktop E3.3 on vista 64

I installed my E3.3 on my new vista laptop 64 but before it opens completely I get fatal error: exception not supported to e06d7363h in 760ff328h and it stops. Is there a download available to run this program on my vista 64

A quick Google shows me that this program is from 2004 and I can say with almost 100% certainty that he will not run in Vista 32 and Vista 64. Contact Autodesk support to be sure and find out which version of your program is supported under Vista 64 (as appropriate).

    Hey tprefling,

Thanks for posting in the Microsoft answers site!

Right-click on the zt.exe file and choose "Run as Administrator" to launch the program.

See if you are able to play the game.

If this does not work, turn your computer to clean the start State and see if the fgame plays very well.

To put your computer in a clean boot, follow these steps:

Note: If the computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may prevent you from following these steps. We recommend strongly that you do not use System Configuration utility to change startup options on the computer, unless a support engineer Microsoft directs you to do so. This can make the computer unusable.

    1. sign the computer by using an account with administrator rights.

    2. click on start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER to start the System Configuration utility.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.

    3. on the general tab, click Selective startup, and then clear the check box load startup items. (The check box use the file Boot is not available.)

    4. on the Services tab, click to select the skin all the Microsoft services check box, and then click Disable all.
Note: Following this step lets services Microsoft continue to run. These services include networking, Plug-and-Play, record of events, error reporting, and other services. If you disable these services, you can permanently delete all restore points. Do not do this if you want to use to restore the system with the existing restore points.

    5. click OK and then click on restart.

  • using windows Remote Desktop connection 7 to vista

I bought a laptop with windows 7 and I would like to know how I can remote control my Office Home premium windows vista in my laptop with windows 7.  I read that windows vista does not allow the conections using the remote desktop connection tool.

is the different way to connect to my vista to windows 7, when I'm away from home?

It can be done in certain versions of Vista, but not in all.  The ability is disabled by default.  Here's how to set it to the top and also explains in which versions it works:http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/turn-on-remote-desktop-in-windows-vista/.  Unfortunately, Home Premium is not included.

Here is an article on how to use 3rd party free software to add Remote Desktop capablility to Home Premium:http://www.ghacks.net/2007/02/12/add-remote-desktop-access-to-windows-vista-home-editions/.  Use it at your own risk.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Why change my desktop and delete my Vista files?

Original title: Why Vista change my desktop and delete my files?  I have to do a system restore to get back everything.  How to stop the changes occur?

These changes occur too often, and I don't know how to stop them.  A system restore works, but I'm the only person who knows enough to make one - don't know other people who use this computer on system restore.  What should I do to keep my current settings and files intact?
    Thank you.

    Hi Rhonda,

    1. What do you mean when you say that the desktop is changed and delete my files?

    2. what files are deleted?

    3. the question occurs in other accounts of users also?

    4. have you made a recent software or hardware changes to the system?

Typically an installation of a program or a driver can cause an unexpected change to your computer or put Windows behaves in unpredictable ways. This can be corrected when you perform a system restore.

    Step 1:

You can check if the problem occurs in safe mode.

Start your computer in safe mode

    Step 2:

If you are able to boot into safe mode without any problem, you can try to perform a clean boot and check if the problem occurs in normal mode.

A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.

You can read the following article to put the computer in a clean boot:

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

Note: After troubleshooting, be sure to set the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the above article.
