Archiving of text Messages blackBerry smartphones

I asked for information on how to archive messages text for my PRIVATE in December-, but to this day - I've seen no suggestion.  I see there is a check-in option in the parameters of the text.  When I tested on a smaller string of text - simply - they disappear and I have no idea where they were "archived" to.  Can someone please.  It is important to my business to keep texts.  Today only a complete chain of very important texts just disappeared when I went to add new text.  I want to archive regularly important chains of text as a written record.  Can someone please. Thank you

Hi gigiatTO,

If we talk about SMS is very simple

You have to do on the Messenger app, once he touch 2 sec on the avatar (image or color letter) located on the left side of the list of messages and you will get a few options on the upper part of the screen, one of them is the folder icon which allow you to archive

To see these text messages, also do it on the Messenger application and the option is on the top right of the screen with the three aligned

    Can anyone help please?

I bought my wife a Blackberry Curve 9300.

Very good so far, but it cannot download the pictures that have been sent on a text message, it does not use websites to social network, or the internet for the time reserved for the messages and photos if she can get back them.

The last message from her friend had a download box now on the screen of your messages, but it will not download anywhere.

Any help would be much appreciated:

  • Auto signature for text messages blackBerry smartphones

Does anyone know if it is possible to have an auto signature on SMS?

I'm not aware of such a feature in the basic text messaging app.  AppWorld has many applications related to text messaging and look under IM & Social Networking > Instant Messaging could give some results.

  • Lack button text Message blackBerry smartphones

I have a 9500 Storm.  The other day, the button on the screen that I push to recover text messages have disappeared.  Can someone tell me how to get the back button or otherwise retrieve my SMS?  Thank you.

Have you watched 'Main Message list settings'?

So if it isn't here either, then back to basics...

You might accidentally hidden the icon:

    1. on your home screen, press Menu > SHOW ALL, so that ALL DISPLAY is checked.

You might have accidentally moved the icon to another folder:

    2. look in EVERY folder on your device... Applications, instant messaging, downloads, etc.

    Hello

I got a SMS message on my screen but it is not there, how it remove?

Tips to clear the message unread... try them in the order.

If you have a new icon rogue Message on your home screen, or a negative number (-1), one of these solutions could erase or reset:

    Try these options:
Open the yourMessages folder and select today's date, click on the menu button and then select Mark prior opened.
    * Hard Reset BlackBerry now ALT CAP (right Shift key) and DEL (or with the BlackBerry power, remove the battery and reinsert the battery)
    Messages > saved Messages
Messages > view folders, check each folder (calls, SMS and MMS, and boxes, saved missed boxes, browser, phone logs etc.)
    * Scroll at the top of the folder, on the title menu, click or tap to MARK PRIOR OPEN date
Change your theme and see if it persists and return to your desired theme. (Options > theme > select.)
    * Connect to Desktop Manager > backup/restore > advanced. On the right pane is the list of the data on your device. Scroll to the e-mail highlighted messages database, and then below, select TRANSPARENT. This will clear your system of all messages.
    * Clean and reload your OS.

  • Problems with TEXT messages blackBerry Smartphones

I have a Curve 8320 on TMobile.  First of all, I have had no problem display SMS messages.  Then I set up my email BB, became notifications for both without problem.  Decided I won't check my email on BB more, so I deleted this account on my BB.  Now when I click on the messages icon, it still shows just my old e-mail messages, no SMS messages.  I get the new icon of SMS message at the top, and then it will open the SMS messages folder, show the new (and former GSM).  After I read, if I come back in the messages it returns the old mails.  I have to physically click Options, display folder, SMS messages to view.  How can I get rid of the email stuff and go back to just having things SMS?

WELL!  I was looking right at my menu icons, and there is now a NEW that looks totally different.  Looks like a piece of paper with a mobile phone on it and wrote SMS and MMS.  So, I moved up and hid the Messages icon and Email icon.  So I hope that it will work.  Not sure when this icon appeared, but I guess that is understood.  Thanks for your help!

  • Display screen when receiving text Messages blackBerry Smartphones?

When I receive an SMS, I have to press the trackball for the screen turns on before you select the SMS. When there is an incoming call, the screen lights up. I would like that it the same for SMS.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks in advance.

It is not possible in native mode.  There are a few applications 3rd party that you can install to make it happen.  I remember just which ones, however.

Thus, MMS messages require a directory of services for the transport of the data of the message part. Sometimes they are damaged.

Look on your device, Options > Advanced > Service books. Find a Transport named MMS and press Menu > delete.

Now, you want to return your Service books, of your Verizon site.

1 send your service from your carrier's BIS site books.

  • Reports of message for the text of blackBerry Smartphones

I have a curve 8520 but think of a torch or a storm.  I need to know if I can get reports on each fone. Reports are when you send a text message to someone and you get an answer to say that the message was received on their fone. It does not mean that they have read the message, but you know that it has been received.

You can get to know if SMS are delivered to other phone or not! But you will not get the time of delivery. To activate go to

    OS 6.0

SMS and MMS > click Menu, and then select Options > check NDRs

    OS 5.0 and below

Options > SMS text > Delivery Report: on

  • Z10 allocated to the wrong Contact incoming text Messages blackBerry

Recently, I received my Zed10 return of warranty repair for an out of the box of malfunctioning headset port and is now experiencing a thousand times more frustrating issues.  The phone is now problems when I got a text message in which he he attributed to the bad contact.  I checked the contact information, there is no duplicate numbers, the number of the text comes from the East only attributed to a contact, but through an SMS conversation, it may seem that I'm talking with 3 different people, which is very confusing.  Before that I sent my Zed10 in I made a full backup, then wipe to security.  I received my unit exact same warranty return, updated to the latest OS, did a restore of my backup and now this.  I went through and deleted the whole SMS, which seems to fix the problem, but after about an hour it started again.  Some figures it's now show as incoming texts are not the numbers of my contacts, and I can keep the conversation going by answering the real contact on my phone (if I am not answering the number that he told me that the text came, the person at the other end has no information of any text).  If anyone has experienced this?  Given that we have really not contact, backup in bond options as we did in DM my next attempt "fix" will seek to move my contacts to my SIM card and wipe the device... once again.  Very happy to have my BB10 back after 2 weeks on a 9300 Curve, but it is VERY frustrating.

If someone had something like this happens, please help.  Thank you all.

  • Classic text messages blackBerry 7.1 not restored

    Hello

I pass a device of a "BOLD" with the OS 7.1 to a classic. I can't restore the old device text messages during the switch. I tried 2 ways:

1 SD card backup and restore. According to the app, text messages are saved and then onto the new device restored, however when I open the SMS on the new device, it says 'No entrΘes in this point of view' and I can't find any of my text messages.

2 blackberry link. Backup and restore gently, and the application lists the messages MMS and SMS as being transferred. However, once opening text Messages after restoring to the device again, nothing.

Can someone enlighten me on this?

    Best,

    J

Text messages are now in place.

I did my "BOLD" gradually, moving from the export/import. I wanted a solution to the problem of text message, I waited a few days before actually making the final switch. I decided to go anyway and put in my new SIM card in the classic. After that, when I looked around I found that text messages are there in my classic.

So either the card SIM must be set up for the text messages to appear (b n - This was a new SIM card, not the old SIM used on the "BOLD"), or it was just a matter of time (I read somewhere in the documentation that it can take a while before all data transferred is visible on the new device no reason given as to why).

So, if you run into this issue:

    1. Add the SIM card to the new device

    and/or

    2. wait

    Worked for me.

Oh and save the former such device until things are developed. If nothing else, you can do some sort of manual backup of important text messages, such as taking pictures.

    Best,

    J

  • Z10 Text Messages blackBerry Playbook

On my 'old' 9810 packed for the Playbook, I could read and send text messages on the PB. Now this wonderful feature seems to have disappeared :-(

Why the Blackberry would do such a stupid thing?

For the operating system Z10, not fully developed Bridge software still what I was told. There will be a necessary update for both the Playbook and the Z10 access this feature completely backward. I was not told any date deadline for this.

There are some phone providers saying that BlackBerry is supposed to come out with a new Playbook sometime this coming summer. I've never seen anything official on this issue, but for me, it would make sense.

Logically speaking, a big plus with the Playbook and the Blackberry phone is the capacity of the bridge. It wouldn't make sense for Blackberry to give up this function.

  • Icon text of blackBerry Smartphones went

I have no idea why, but the text icon went from my BB Torch and I can't find how to get it back. Can anyone help please?

Start by seeing if you have accidentally hidden there.  While on your home screen, press the menu key and select Show all or show all, that one is available.  If your icon is hidden, this will expose it.

If that isn't revealing his comings and goings, you can reinstall using BlackBerry Desktop Software.  Connect your phone to your PC and open the COMICS.  Once your phone has been recognized, click Applications on the left.  (I do not know if this method does not work, it's been long that I used in the COMICS.  If no, proceed to my next suggestion below.)  Once in the application, search for your text message entry.  If it contains an "X" beside it, click to change to a checkbox.  If you are unable to do this, you will need to reload your operating system.

To reload your operating system, open COMICS as described previously, and then click device at the top of the software, then click on restore.  Choose the most recent restore point and the load on your phone.

Let us know if that helps you.
