Arm, wrist and the screen does not light.

I just wanted to give a few comments. When I walk, carry heavy bags and I want to watch the time I lift my arm to look at my Apple Watch and the screen does not light. Maybe its because the movement of the arm is subtle, since I am carrying heavy bags. I was wondering if that could be repaired since both times I tried it, annoyed me. Walk in a street busy NYC with my groceries, I would like to know something, briefly, on my watch as I walk with the duty to stop or to disembark the bags.

  • HP Envy 15 "touch screen power LED appears, but the fans does not and the screen does not light

    Hello!

I'm a student in computer engineering at the University of Waterloo 1A, and I run a very serious problem with my HP Envy 15 "TouchSmart laptop computer running Windows 8.1. It is a problem that just started today, and I'd rather have a first support here before going to see the technical support Office sometimes tomorrow. It has to do with the screen and the fans where the Power LED lights in white, just as when the laptop works properly.

(I have warranty on the laptop when it was purchased last June, except that if I find that I need to get a replacement, I'll lose all my work, I did on that since I started my semester.) It's so silly of me not to have all my work saved on a backup, because I have an external hard drive. Problem is, I've had too many problems in getting myself organized, I'm not being open-minded as I should, and worse, I'm not a balance between life and work at home.)

Before I had my MATH 117 conference (Calculus 1 Engineering), I was in a nearby lab where my laptop was open and turned, works correctly. I've had NetBeans IDE running since I wanted to work on the second part of my current assignment of CS 137 (principles of programming). Because it was almost time for my presentation, I closed the laptop by simply moving the screen down on the keyboard, where it goes into mode 'sleep'. (Whenever I flip to the top of the screen, the laptop is supposed to return, and the sliding screen of Windows 8.1 connection will appear.)

When I took my seat for reading, I wanted to spend a little time to work on my programming assignment. However, after the reversal of the screen to the top, instead of having the login screen appears, I encountered the problem: the power supply light is showing a white light, but I don't hear the fans between the ventilation openings on the left side of the laptop and the screen does not light. I tried to take the power for several seconds and once button at least 10 seconds, except that the power light continues to display on a white light. The Commission of the Wi - Fi light is not displayed.

Whatever it is, I don't want to take out the battery because I have that on my last laptop, and it's from there that I couldn't turn to the former, a new market. If I leave the Envy laptop battery, it will short-circuit the connections between the battery and the computer, and so several components will FRY. For now, what I do let the laptop is to empty the load on the battery. Then, once I noticed that the power light does not project a white light, or plug in the AC adapter and try turning the laptop on the power button.

It will take a little while for the circuit drain the load on my battery but...

Anyway, please would you be kind enough to help me with this problem? I would really appreciate if you can give me several recommendations. Thank you!

    Hi Brandon,.

  • Satellite L - water damage and the laptop does not light

    Hello

I don't know if this is the right forum for this, but I was just wondering if someone could give me some advice. My brother spilled some water on my laptop 3 days ago (argh!). He immediately turned off and won't start up again. I stamped it towards the top as long as I could, removed the battery and positioned in a V shape to try to help dry. It is still not started. When I plug in the adapter, the screen remains blank, but there is a very low humming noise and the lights flash:

The power light flashes green very clearly
    Battery green LED flashes weakly
The hard drive LED blinks green VERY weakly

I'm really hoping that the laptop is not dead and I'll at least be able to recover my hard drive, but it seems unlikely. I'd appreciate really any advice that anyone can give me in regard to what could be wrong or how I can fix this problem.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

    Hello!

I agree with Luke and the best way is to contact you an ASP. They can check the laptop and tell exactly which parts must be Exchange or not.
On the Toshiba site, you can search an ASP:
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported downloads & => find an authorized service provider

If the HARD drive is not defective, you can backup your data to another PC or laptop as Luke suggested.

    Good bye

  • My Macbook has big bumps and the screen does not close.  Can it be fixed?

Previously, a fallen friend my 2013 non-retine Macbook Pro 13 inches on one floor wood to six feet in the air.  After the landing, my laptop proceeded to bounce back, and when I picked it up, he had a gargantuan tooth in the DVD player (see these images: http://imgur.com/a/CDg3R). I also noticed that the screen closes nor completely, even when I press on toward the bottom.  Y at - it repairs I can do?  Or is it better for me to buy a newer, more stylish mac?  What is the least expensive?  Thank you!

Bend it back... with care. We could break it. Even if you do not, the result will be ugly... but it will be a character.

Or is it better for me to buy a newer, more stylish mac?

If you want to know whether it pays to pay Apple to fix it, the answer is that such a remedy will be almost certainly economically unjustified. I suggest Flex things up, so that you can continue to use it.

  • Dell computer laptop starts but the screen does not light

    Hello

I have a laptop Dell older (studio 1558) and when I used it the other day, 'static' filled monitor image and then the screen went completely black.  Now when I turn it on, it seems that the computer starts well but the screen is black.

Get yourself an external monitor, easy solution, right? -bad.  Unfortunately when I plugged my laptop in a separate monitor, the monitor (which works fine) showed no images.

Still, I had this laptop for a few years.  I see about being 'easy' opening and closing of the laptop.  This has been the case in recent years, however, so I don't know if something has finally given...

I'm not the best computer savvy so sorry if I was not more detailed... any ideas, what is wrong and how do I fix?  I rather would not somewhere that make me fixed.

You will probably get a better response if you re - post it in the forum of the laptop and mention the version of Windows, too. (This is the forum office.)

  • Satellite M60 - screen does not light when I reboot

I have a Toshiba Satellite M60 and the screen does not come when I turn off or restart. It takes approximately 12 trials before it lights. When the screen does the computer not light again starts ok just no screen.

I put in sleep mode if I don't want the hassle of trying to get the screen lights up. What is a screen problem or inverter?

    Any help would be appreciated.

I doubt that someone who has no experience with this stuff will be able to replace anything on the motherboard.
For me it sounds very risky and I think that it of better to take the machine to an experienced technician to do this in his own hand and damage the whole motherboard

  • Screen does not light after the start, but after standby on Satellite M100

    Hello
I have some experience with computers and laptops, but this problem exhausted all of my knowledge.
My girlfriend has a Toshiba Satellite M100, PSMA1E. He currently works on Windows XP, SP3.
The laptop has always had problems closing/stand bye. He would stand bye and the screen would not. She would usually be manually turn off (holding the power button) and restart.

Same thing happened last week, but with me. I turned off the power button but when I turned it on the screen was completely black. After a few attempts, I realized that everything worked; I could hear the usual audio files and XP Boot, but there was no way I could get the job of the screen.

The strangest thing is that the CMOS/BIOS, one with the Toshiba logo settings screen, also does not appear. If it's an OS problem, I thought that I would be able to access the BIOS at least, but it does not work. FN + F5 does not work.

Then, strange yet something happened. I was turning it on and off with keyboard shortcuts and I realized that if I put on stand bye using shortcuts and then go back on the screen turns on perfectly well (there is a cause of adjustment resolution icons are irrelevant, but it works perfectly fine).

From that on I tried everything I know. Update the BIOS, all Windows XP updates, all Toshiba QuickFix, cleaning the registry with different tools, uninstall and reinstall the video driver (ATI Radeon X 1400) utility, shortcuts keyboard, power saver, tools hardware Toshiba, looking to start up programs, services, everything I could possibly think off.

What intrigues me is that the Toshiba start screen will not be displayed. I can't access the BIOS, but I tried to restore the standard values of the BIOS with Toshiba hardware tools. It did not work. I don't even know if reinstalling XP will work because whenever I turn it on it is all black and I have to make the stand bye / Tower on Tower.

When I have it plugged into an external monitor, I could see all starting the process (initial screen of the BIOS and Windows). I then tried to access the video driver display configuration but it would show only the external monitor. It would only detect the laptop screen after a stand bye / turn back on, and then it worked perfectly: the screen two screens simultaneously, extended, everything. Ah, changing BIOS selection automatic the LCD + external monitor does not work.

I am really puzzled here and I can't understand it. I really don't think it's a hardware problem, because the screen works 100% after the stand bye. I guess that XP is do something during the closing down that completely 'stops' my screen, even after starting, and then I can only turn it on with the thing stand bye.

Any help would be really appreciated!

    Best,

    Hi guys

I had a similar problem on a series of Satellite A200 and I could solve works to update the BIOS and update the graphics driver.
In addition, you must make sure that all available MS fixes and patches have been installed.

Unfortunately, but that's all I can suggest. If the problem persists and you would not be able to solve update components then an ASP needs to check.

    Good luck

  • T410 doesn't start, white screen and the keyboard does not power on.

Hi, my laptop Lenovo T410 does not start. I hit the power button and looks like it is about to start. The thinklight flashes on as normal, the cd drive is checked, the caps lock on, then nothing/button blinks. No display and the keyboard does not respond. Power led lights up; If I leave it awhile the fan turns on. Can I stop the machine using the power button, but the problem remains the next time I turn it on.

I tried to remove power and battery, power 10 button time then with the power to 30 seconds, before replacing the power supply and the battery but nothing happens. I tried to use a different keyboard. I tried to plug in an external monitor. No change.

This problem appeared after I left it on overnight. I have the feeling that it entered into hybernation mode, perhaps, and that it disturbed some important functions which he could not complete. Not sure if. Any help gratefully received.

    Thank you very much

    Pete

It's the original configuration of your laptop:

    ThinkPad T410 2522BF1
    i5 - 520 M (2.4 GHz), 4 GB RAM, 160 GB 7200 RPM HD, 14.1 in. LCD 1280 x 800, Intel 5700MHD, DVD, Intel 802.11agn Wireless Modem, 1 Gb Ethernet, UltraNav smart, secure, camera, 6 c Li-ion, Win7 Pro 32

I firstly the LCD cable or secondary LED could be damaged, but if you don't see anything on an external monitor I tend to think it's a motherboard problem.

Last thing you could try putting running a Live Distro Linux from a CD/DVD or USB drive, using Ubuntu or Linux Mint, for example.

When I click and drag a window to move its location on the screen does not move properly. It leaves a "track" of windows. Whatever the problem is scroll is also affected when the page moves in waves. Why he started to do this, and if someone can offer a solution? Thank you!

    original title: "leakage" of windows

It is a common problem with how XP displays the items on your screen. When things get a bit bogged down, you'll start to see trails of the window as you drag. Unfortunately, there is no solution, but future versions of Windows do not have this problem with a new rendering of the graphics system.
