ART and the battery issues

Hi all! It's been a while since my last post here. Having spent of a Bionic to a Razr Maxx HD to a Moto X 2014 and recently a Droid Turbo... I have a few questions.

I noticed that when I charge the phone using the Turbo charger, the phone tends to run a bit hot. Is this normal? I wouldn't say it's warm to the touch, very hot well. I got up the phone all together and the battery life took a hit from that, but everything around the battery doesn't seem to be as long as I thought. I had it with a low light and not too much use, dip below 20%, twice in the last hours 9. So about 65 percent of 9 hours battery drain. I never had a problem like this on my Razr Maxx HD or the Moto X 2014. He gets better?

Another issue I have is that I recently spent at Runtime in the Dalvik for ART Developer options (so it is faster when the update of lollipop coming and for other benefits) but I found that when I turn on the phone, he optimized 253 all apps I had. Not a big deal, that happened when my X 2014 updated to 5.0. The question came when the phone charged the homescreen app command would not be responsible and I could not close the screen. So I turned off the phone, and when he turned he said he was 58 optimization apps. The app of command worked. I decided to do more market 3 times and now whenever I turn on the phone, it has to re-optimize 58 apps, can we explain why it does this or how do I do to stop?

Thanks in advance!

Joe

The only solution, I know, is to return to the Dalvik for now. For some reason just ART don't play well with the Turbo running the latest OS of KitKat.

The 5.1 update, if and when it happens, should solve this problem because the ART is the default operator in this configuration.

In Windows 7, I received an error message saying "Consider replacing your battery" "there is a problem with your battery, so your computer might suddenly turns off".                                                                   Any Solution for this

    Hello

The battery may actually need to be replaced.

References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.

Check with support from the manufacturer of their books online and the drivers and their forums system
(as applicable) for known issues. Some manufacturer issued BIOS and other updates to help the battery
    problems.

In fact, what causes a lot of wear on a battery empties it too low on several occasions. With today
systems overload are not a problem.

Here are some tips to help and troubleshoot battery issues.

Old battery? Unplug the power to the computer - remove the battery and clean the contacts with a pencil
eraser (do not use this, if your battery is fine slots - just clean up the edges of the knife which fit in)
them and be careful). Batteries are old, or it could be a problem with the computer.
Check with the support of the machine system, and many of them have on line forums.

New Lithium-Ion type battery usually last longer if you do not unload their less than 30%
However on a laptop that not extend their life a lot. Best is to use the a/c adapter
    When this is possible.

  • In the last few days my xt720 run hot and the battery to last for only 4 hours

I don't know what happened to my XT720 but since 2 days my phone is running more hot than usual in the back between xeon flash and plate "xeon 8.0.

I think it should be the domain of the CPU

I tried to remove the battery several times, but it does not help

Now, I have disabled all the synchronizations and data exchange, off WIFI and basic GPS (but I used to have my phone with this setting turned on for several weeks) and still no improvement.

The phone is good work and looks like there is just an application of high power of the CPU for something.

I would try a reset of the device factory to check if some sw or fw settings has been the cause of this new bad behavior.

Do you think that it's worth to try it, or is it better to get in touch with Motorola customer service to request a check (my phone has only 3.5 months of life)

    Thank you

    Marco

    Resolved after a factory reset!

In fact, I would suggest that a reset from factory to everyone feels that the battery of the XT720 wouldn't last as expected.

I have my phone unplugged and mode intelligence (with active Gmail) from 9 h 42 m and the battery is still at 70%

This is a very positive behavior from the last days where my battery low runned after about 4 h.

It is also a good way to assess the potential of the stand-by battery and could be a way to compare the real potential of vanilla by a custom filter (widget, screensaver, desktop direct current) and think that if it is worth to keep the customization and the battery life let go.

    See you soon

  • Satellite L755 - suddenly then turn off blinking of power and the battery LEDs

In recent weeks, when using the laptop (Satellite L755 psk2ye) he died suddenly and the power and the battery leds start flashing simultaneously.

It also takes place when charging the battery when the unit is off... then l must cut off the power and he'll be back... Although the problem sometimes occurs again after a few minutes hours or does not...

Remove the battery and check if the same problem occur when you use laptops with power running.

    Please post comments.

  • My satellite phone battery does not light and the battery won't charge (rest on 2%)

Basically, my laptop is 3 months old and I don't know why it's acting weird. First of all, when I bought the laptop in June 06... the first week the laptop has no power in battery mode. So I stopped using the battery mode and still had to use my power adapter to power my laptop.

Now 4 weeks later, I removed the battery to the rear and put again. Guess what the battery started working. Now 2 months later the same problem occurs, only that this time after removing the battery to it still turn on and the battery says 2% and also fails to load.
So I m stuck with my son again... can anyone help?

    Hello

In my opinion the best solution is to confront your local dealer with this problem. If I were you I wouldn't waste time. Unit is fairly new, warranty still valid and unit should operate.

Perhaps is there some problem with electronic supply power.

  • A/c and the battery in the middle of the screen icons

On my netbook with XP... when I'm on the work of a/c and the battery recharges two boxes appear in the middle of the screen with the battery icon and the other with the a/c son of icon. I cannot get rid of them or move them.  They sit just there alternately light upward and quickly jump.  Even if I worked this way on this netbook since almost a year that just started to happen and I have no idea where it comes from or how to get rid of.  Any ideas?

    Hello

I suggest you try deactivating and activating the icons and check.
    Here are the steps:
1.right - click on the taskbar, and then select Properties.
    2. in the Notification area, make sure that Hide inactive icons is selected, and then click Customize.
    3. Select the item you want to configure and select the behavior setting that you want in the behavior list.
    4. click on OK.
