Art in photoshop buggy cards?

so I am a newbie for plans of work, however, my grids disappear just occasionally.

When I tried to resize down - it resulted in an even greater enormous size.

I had whole layers disappear just that they have not been cut or removed.

CMYK is apparently not working.  So what??? I'm in a bad mood and I don't have time

fighting with the software glitch.

Announcements are sent in CMYK mode... it's stupid...

Thank you

Toni T

Work in Photoshop plans do not have the best experience with CMYK documents, especially for the display screen.

This is mainly due to limitations in how the overlay icons (borders, tags, backgrounds, mast, grids and so - we) are drawn. It is a different code for the GPU, non - GPU, RGB and CMYK. We should write a code path entirely different to that all of the planned work CMYK and he would have doubled our testing efforts and took leave of other features. We were just out of time and we had to make difficult choices. So, we focused on the contribution of features work correctly with RGB documents. When we have time, we hope to return autour tour and more fully flesh out its CMYK support. I confirm that it is in our backlog of work.

Go to the site of the manufacturer of the video card and update your driver video from there.

  • The difference between Photoshop cloud for digital art, photography and Design?

    Hello

When looking into the purchase of Photoshop on the cloud, I was invited to the question: where your creativity will take you?

    There is then have 3 options: 2 with a price option and a 3rd $ $19.99 9.99.

-> Design: ""get Photoshop as part of a plan of single-app of creative for just cloud US$ 19.99/mo " "

-> Photography: "'get Photoshop as part of a plan of single-app of creative for just cloud US$ 9.99/MB" "

-> Digital art: ""get Photoshop as part of a plan of single-app of creative for just cloud US$ 19.99/mo ' "

I'm stuck because I want to do all 3!  My question is that if I go with the plan of photography at 50% the cost can I still get the abilities described in digital art and Design services?  For example, the option of digital art says: 'do everything you can imagine. Paint, illustrate, combine images and work with 3D. »

Thank you so much for clarifying everything you can provide.

  • Why crashes my Photoshop CS4? (Vista OS)

I tried to work on my art in photoshop after getting a Tablet for my birthday, but for some reason, Photoshop crashes after about an hour or two of being in it. I suspect it is the driver, but I'm not entirely sure. I download the CS4 patch now, hoping that this will help, but my hopes are reluctant to stand up. The error message is something in the sense of "something caused photoshop to stop working properly, blah blah blah, we will try and fail to find a solution to why it keeps crashing" and quite honestly, it becomes a bit irritating. If I could help, it would be great.

It is a Wacom Bamboo, to clarify.

EDIT: I checked, and the CS4 is the current.

    Hello

Nothing obvious to me in the error event log.

Have you tried to disable Open GL drawing? It can be found in preferences > performance.

If this seems to stop the noise, then you can try to update your video card drivers.

  • The export of ZBrush Photoshop CS5?

    Hello, everyone.

I'm relatively new to digital and completely new art on Photoshop.  I use a trial version of CS5 to see what kind of options it is also I am trying to develop a rational workflow.  I want to graphic design that can be used in a CafePress shop to what large posters (23 x 35), to t-shirts, to the case of small iPod.

I start by creating a basic 3-d model in ZBrush 4.  I sculpt the model, he poses and do some base polypainting.  Can I use the screenshot of Windows 7 (x 64) utility to save a .png image.  I use the AutoTrace feature in Serif DrawPlus to convert the .png in a vector image.  Then, I build the basic 'scene' on layers of DP.  My plan is to export a large bitmap (23 "x 35" @ 300 DPI ") of the DDA and bring it into Photoshop for finishing.  Not terribly elegant dieting, but the raster vector conversion works very well (with a little cleaning) in a document of 23 x 35.

The workflow has a certain quality of Rube Goldberg to it.  It seems that it might be wiser to export ZBrush directly in Photoshop.  Can I export an image of ZBrush in .psd format; However, is not enlarge to poster size very well. not nearly as good as the raster to vector conversion using AutoTrace.  I was wondering if I could export the model in ZBrush as a .obj file and consider that in Photoshop.  My idea is to create a large document PS (6900 x 10500 pix; i.e., 23 x 35 @ 300 dpi) and place the .obj file in this document.  Certainly, it is a stab.  I don't know if a .obj file would be better than a file .psd in terms of image quality for large prints.  Moot point, because I was not able to get the PS to "analyze" the .obj file (created in ZBrush by DecimationMaster).

If anyone knows how to integrate a ZBrush Photoshop .obj file or (2) (1) if it makes no sense to try or (3) if there is a better way to streamline the process a bit awkward, I developed at this point, I'd be happy to read your comments.

    Thank you very much

    Doc_Pit

Do not use a screenshot. If you have to do it the way you export a psd file and then continue from there. A screenshot will be only geab your image at the resolution you have set for your video card.

Photoshop will load a zbrush obj file, I tried it. Chances are that you are running out of ram. A 23 x 35 inches print should print very well at a lower PPI. 300 DPI assumes that the document will be held in the hand. As far the document is of the eye the power that the PPI can be. If you table, bars, etc.that between the viewer and printing will be concideration in the determination of the PPI.

  • How to export my sketch in Photoshop in 300 dpi images

    Hello

When exporting my images of the sketch on the iPad for Photoshop on Mac, they seem to default to 72 dpi.  What makes the images 72cm wide and 72 dpi, which is not what I want.  We use images for a book, so they must be 300 dpi.

How can I export images at 300 dpi and make them appear as the right size in Photoshop?

    Thank you.

    See you soon

    James

    Hello James,.

I don't think at the moment, it is possible to choose a resolution of 300 DPI in sketches. However, you can export your art in Photoshop and set up your resolution for printing it. The iPad Pro has allowed me to create an illustration in sketch is 2732 x 2048 pixels. Using the sharing in Sketch (square with arrow at the top of the screen icon) feature, I chose to send to Photoshop. When the image open in PS, I adjusted the resolution we print, using the size of the Image. It is an easy workflow.

I've attached a screenshot of the dialog box size of the Photoshop Image with the original resolution sketches and the adjustment in Photoshop. Note that "Resampling" is disabled in the example below, while the number of pixels will remain the same, when the ppi to 300 ppi.

    I hope it's useful.

    Best regards

Photoshop should never be used to generate your HTML code.  It is only useful for making quick comps.

If your HTML & CSS coding skills are not at full speed yet, you should probably use Muse instead of DW.  It is much easier to use for the non-codeurs.

  • Should I buy Photoshop & Lightroom CC package or the creative cloud together? for purposes of drawing

I am a digital artist, and I don't know which product is the best for me.

I'm basically a beginner, although I learned a few basics in GIMP.

I use a Wacom Intuos Pen & Touch tablet.

    Among others.

Do you think I could make similar art in Photoshop CC? Or if I have to buy Adobe Illustrator and finishes in the PS, a technique that I've heard.

I could also put in place for the purchase of the stand-alone version of Photoshop CS6, because I heard some people say they've had the PS since before he started to sell on a subscription basis, and they have never felt the need to update.

Help to all opinions. Thank you!

Many artists who listed you use traditional media (pencil sketches, inking) to start a drawing/illustration, after which they then scan in their work and finish the digitally (colouring, for example).

First and foremost: Learn how to draw. Learn the anatomy. Sketch on paper - nothing beats a few soft and hard pencils and sketching on a Notepad. Take it with you anywhere you go.

With regard to the software: I find ClipStudio (Manga Studio) to have the best feeling/sketch in pencil of all the software that I have used so far, and I'm not the only one. I stopped using Photoshop for digital painting a couple of years, in favour of Clip Studio both Krita.

Krita is free and beats the pants off of Photoshop for digital painting. It does really - no comparison. I'm not saying that Photoshop is bad (it is not), just not nearly as good that Krita is now, or Clip Studio for drawing. Combine Krita with ClipStudio and you are set.

  • Working with Illustrator and Photoshop-small question

Hello, I am working on a 16. "x 21.5" printed for a class as a final note.  I think I already know the answer to that, but I really need to be sure.  I mainly work in Adobe Illustrator, trying to get a look simple but complex vector for my room and lets just say he quickly became real complex.  I am currently working on 1 impression of 2 and I do traces of image of a batch of raster images I did for this project.  It's all in color, so there are probably thousands of separate objects now, so of course Illustrator starts to slow down a little (lag a bit on mine and almost always a stand on any computer in the school).  I have just a few details to work out, so I can deal with the LAG, but I fear that if the printing process can take some time (there are other students who need to print of course).  I thought to put all my objects and layers in Photoshop and flatten the image to we hope to facilitate things on printers.  So here's my question: do I put the image in Photoshop and flatten out it, the draw would still have this nice clean edge of a vector image?  This is probably a stupid question, I know, normally, I would ask the teacher however it is not the best with computers.  It's my last, I just need to be 100% sure.  If this wont work, I need to find a way to make smoother Illustrator with my detailed image.  Thanks for the help.

If you bring your Illustrator art into Photoshop and flatten it, your art is now not vectorized pixels. So technically Yes, you'll lose some of the edge of pleasant eigenvector. BUT, given your situation, the fact that this printing to a printer from school, your solution is good. The quality loss will be imperceptible to most and will certainly save you headaches of printing possible. Follow these steps.

    (1) create a new Photoshop document to the same size print as your Illustrator document.

    (2) set the resolution to 300 dpi (this will be more than a resolution high enough to maintain the appearance of cutting edge of vector)

    (3) make sure that the (RGB or CMYK) color space is the same as you have used for Illustrator. Make sure that the icc profile is the same too.

    (4) place the Illustrator art in the Photoshop document.

    (5) save the file in TIFF, without diapers

I've already updated Windows 8, Photoshop and graphics drivers from Nvidia.

Any ideas?  I spent so much on a nice graphics card, but now it seems that PS CS6 cannot even use.  It uses rather the HD4000 Intel:

    I also tried this: http://forums.Adobe.com/message/4545768#4545768

And remove the settings, but that didn't help.

According to this, my graphics card should work, it's an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675 M, which is a 600 GPU series: http://helpx.Adobe.com/Photoshop/KB/Photoshop-CS6-GPU-FAQ.html#tested_cards

Tested for Photoshop CS6 video cards

Adobe has tested the following video cards before the release of Photoshop CS6. This paper presents the video card in the series. I'm out of ideas.  Any suggestions?

So, I thought about it... duh.

My bad... or rather, Nvidia is bad!

In their app Profiler, they set Photoshop to use the settings "by default", which defaults to the built-in graphics card.  By changing the profile so that it uses the discrete graphics, it worked!

It also fixed my issue of the flashing background / flicker.

    I know it's a bug known with Windows 8 + AMD (http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/image-background-transparent-or-flickers.html)

However, Adobe should look at this same bug occurring with the HD4000 Intel Integrated GPU, because this happened with my laptop.

Maybe this bug does not occur on systems that don't have a GPU integrated, but on systems with Optimus, that's certainly a reproducible issue.

When I go to integrated, the question pops up again.

It's nice that Nvidia offers an option for us to use the graphics integrated or discrete, however, Adobe must proceed and make sure that Photoshop doesn't wig when we use the Integrated GPU.  Sometimes, your customers need to do work on the energy of the built-in battery, so the flicker /flashing / transparent background bug should definitely be fixed.

Personally, I can get 6 hours out of this laptop that runs the built-in GPU, but when I use the discreet, he cut down to only 2 hours.
