Hi all... I am a newbie with oracle database.,.
I have the problem of monitoring:
I installed Oracle Database 11 g R2 XE on my CentOS 6.5 guest operating system.
I changed the host name in my CentOS so (where installed oracle 11g R2 XE) after the installation was completed successfully.
Installation-) before and during the hostname is localhost.
(-) After the installation, I changed the host name in VMCentOS
From the moment where I changed the host name, nothing starts automatically. In particular, the listener and the database instance does not start automatically.
When I start the listener manually and I try to connect to the instance of database with SQLPLUS I get this error:
ORA-12514: TNS:listener is not currently of service requested in connect descriptor
I think that the problem is due host name changed because I have to test and debug the object, re-installed a machine virtual operating system CentOS, re-installed oracle database 11 g and I do not have this problem. The database instance and the listener starts automatically!
Can someone tell me if, maybe, the problem is with the host has changed? ... and why?
P.S.: After changing the hostname I also modified the listener.ora and the tnsnames.ora by changing the HOST with the correct host name.

It seems that you don't install Oracle Database Express Edition (XE). If you post this question in the wrong forum.
When you install EA or there is no script that starts the database at startup.
If you wish, you can create by yourself. For example search for instructions to Google how to create script.

I have two databases emadb and emadbdg, governed by Data Guard. emadb is currently principal. emadbdg is currently pending physical.

It is misleading to the column sequence, sequence of real number is 65 series, but it's beyond. Have you restored any old backup with the incarnation?

I checked and found that my user dbsnmp expired password. I found the page on the grid control to change the password of user dbsnmp.
but I want to know. If I changed dbsnmp password using the grid control. Is there any other task I have to do after the change of user dbsnmp password.

I loaded successfully from data in the AIF_OPEN_INTERFACE table during the event of BefImport using a SQL sweater, but it does not pull any record to be copied into the table TDATASEG_T.
The errors I get are:The generic data lines imported from Source: 0
RuntimeError: Error: no record exists for period ' Jan-13'.
Should I do the AIF_OPEN_INTERFACE table to get the data to pass to TDATASEG?

Sorry, that's just after I posted this, I managed to solve it. One of the required fields as long as it is compulsory to import Format was not filled in the AIF_OPEN_INTERFACE and is always null.
I put in a fictitious string for this area and it has imported.

FDMEE error: no record exists for the period
I have installed FDMEE to import data from a flat file that is delimited by commas, I have an installation location that I can load data from a flat file successfully in HFM. I have been setting up a new location and a new format to import but for some reason any, that I can't seem to load correctly, I still get the failure to import process and steps in the process showing the first "Import balance data file < Filename > for the period from 16 jan' with a tick and then"transformation and Stadium record given to export for the period 16 jan as "Cross (fail).". Hello. I use the server of Oracle 11 GR 1 material with Oracle Linux 5 database.
My instance of database is named HRCS90, which the user access Id is MyName, and his identification of user SYS system.
I have a few questions about user ID to access the PSRECDEL and PSROLEDEFN table in the HRCS90 database as below:

His output under the SYS user: table or view does not exist.
His output under user myName: no selected lines. This means that the table THAT PSRECDEL exists, and myName user can access.

How to check if a table really exists in the instance of database HRCS90 or not?

If a table is present in the database, it must be present in DBA_OBJECTS. If he fell, he would be present in the TRASH. If he fell purged, it is not available in the database, Cant it confirm you this object is not in the database? See a little test here
