Ask side Apple Watch

I am very disappointed that the new watch OS does not include a new Apple Watch face to include a greater time and date (see attached photo).  I made this proposal months ago.

You see, I wear glasses to read, but I'm not all most of the time... when I drive, when I watch TV, etc...

When I look at my Apple Watch, I see the time but I can't read the weather and date, because they are just too small for me on my dial of the watch.

Please develop a new face of the watch that allow these fields to be more GRAND.

Thank you

My watch ask me the password whenever I raise my hand to look at. He normally doesn't do that when I removed the watch for charging.  I haven't changed anything so I don't know what causes this problem.  Help, please!

    Hello

    The following steps may help:

    • Make sure detection of wrist is still open:
      • On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: Watch My > General > detection of wrist - turn on.
    • Make sure you wear your watch sufficiently snug on top of your wrist (if it is worn too loosely, your watch may believe that he had been removed from your wrist).
  • Apple Watch does not ask for password

In recent days, I discovered something disturbing.  If I take off my Apple Watch and put back on without having to type in the code 4 digit, even after an extra charge per night, it will not ask for a password after an hour or two and works normally.  If it's supposed to happen?  I couldn't find anything in the support forums.

I got my setup shows to use a password because I got it last December.

    Hi Suzanne

If you use the following settings:

-On your iPhone, in the application of Eve, go to: My Watch (tab) > General > detection of wrist - on.

-On your iPhone, in the application of Eve, go to: Watch My > password > enabled.

-Also on screen settings of password - unlock with iPhone turned on.

Then, after putting on your wrist, your watch will unlock after whatever you do first: unlock your watch manually (by entering the access code) or unlock your iPhone.

Then, it will remain unlocked (including when the screen is idle) until you remove it from your wrist. When you remove your watch, it locks automatically.

  • Impossible to set reminder on Apple Watch

I find that I can no longer use Siri on Apple Watch to set a reminder.  It is always just said 'a second... '. "and then tells me it cannot set the reminder (no further details given).

If I try the same thing on the iPhone, it works fine.  Note: I do not geolocation for reminder, just a normal daily reminder.

I re-pair my Apple Watch to see if it would help.  There can be no.

What I'm missing here?  Something that "might" be in game is I have Outlook calendar of the work used on my iPhone but is not the default calendar and I do not use Outlook for reminders.  And so that was important, why can I create reminders with the iPhone and not watch?

    Hello

    Restart your watch.

    1. Hold down the side button until you see the cursor off the power.
    2. Drag the slider to turn off your device.
    3. Once your watch turns off, press and hold the side button again until you see the Apple logo.

    And restart your iPhone.

    1. Press and hold the sleep/wake button until the Red slider appears.
    2. Drag the slider to turn off your device completely off.
    3. Once the device turns off, press and hold the sleep/wake button again until you see the Apple logo.

Then see if Siri can set a reminder.

Set a reminder. Use Siri on Apple Watch. Press in and hold the digital Crown, then talk. Or just increase your wrist and say 'Hey Siri, set a reminder'. You can also set reminders on iPhone or other iOS or Mac device that is signed using your Apple ID.

Ask Siri. 'Set a reminder to 05:00.'

  • I just bought a Apple Watch on eBay and I am unable to put in place, as said, still connected to the previous owner icloud

OOwner tried to disconnect the watch, but it is not displayed as connected.

    Hello

In order to pair the watch to your iPhone, you need the former owner is:

    • Enter their Apple ID and password on your device, or;
    • Disable the feature via https://www.icloud.com/ by signing with their Apple ID > settings > my devices > Apple Watch-click > click the 'X' > click on delete.

If they have already removed the watch of their devices in iCloud, but the watch remains locked, it can help - if they have not already done so - if they désapparier the watch via the app shows on their iPhone (even if the watch is not available).

    • On their iPhone, in the application of Eve, go to: My Watch (tab) > My Watch > tap the name of the watch (if indicated) > on the next screen, press the 'i' icon to the right of the name shows > tap on disable pairing Apple Watch.

It can also help if you, as the new owner, try the following steps:

    • On your iPhone: app shows as well as all other open applications (press twice on the Home button, drag up on each of the app previews) nearby.
    • Restart both devices, two of them turning off and then restarting your iPhone first:
      • To turn off the clock: press and hold the button side until you see the cursor off the power; Drag the slider to turn off.
      • To turn back on the Watch: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.
    • Then try to new development.

If the watch is always locked, ask the seller to contact Apple Support and explain the situation, clearly indicating that they are the original owner. Apple support may then be able to help more:

  • Apple Watch "I don't know your address" Siri question

I therefore ask Siri on the Apple Watch:

"Remind me to pick up my order when I get out of the House" (for example)

He replies, "who for personal for Ben" (me) and gives two addresses. A single address on my contact card is automatically installed from Facebook, the other was transferred by me in 'My info' in the > settings Mail, Contacts and calendars in my home.

If I select home address and Siri responds on a new screen "I know not your home address.

The option I chose is my home according to my contact card in my info.

So I guess it's a bug with Siri on Apple Watch?

On my iPhone when I ask the same question, Siri includes and defines the callback.

    Hi Ben

    • On your iPhone, in contacts:
      • Check that your contact card contains your name, Apple ID email address and phone number.

  • Apple Watch records do not move the activity of runkeeper

When I use runkeeper on my watch the ring activity does not suddenly Calories. He recorded after I run and it shows in the application of health, but the rings lose calories at the end of the end of the day. Example - it will display 800 calories of movement during the day, but then the next morning that those running seems to have deleted the passage ring summary and it will only show 450. Doesn't happen if I use the app in the Apple business. I have also contacted Runkeeper.

I, also, had this problem. I also contacted Runkeeper support and they feel that it is an Apple / activity app issue.

    A few questions for you:

-When you use Runkeeper, you bring your iPhone along? If so, open the iPhone app and keep it open during start/stop/record of the activity of your watch?

-Have you had any problems with the Runkeeper iPhone app follows the activity that has not been counted? Such as the blue bar at the top of the screen saying RK always uses your location well once you have recorded the activity of the watch? (Or having the blue bar appear even if the RK iPhone app isn't open yet)

-L' iPhone app has no record your activity (in follow-up activities) Although later - as the next day?

    Side note:

I don't know what the appropriate measures are not yet using Runkeeper with iPhone and Apple Watch more. I don't know if I'm supposed to open in addition to the watch app iPhone app? I don't know if I'm supposed to record activity in both places? I asked RK to publish a manual suitable for the use of RK with the Apple Watch, but they ignored me little about right - pointing me to a useless guide on RK support forums.

  • Unlock Mac with Apple Watch stopped working

I upgraded my MacBook Pro to Sierra and my Apple Watch shows OS 3 - for a period of time the new feature release of my Mac with Apple Watch worked very well

He stopped and the option no longer appears in Settings/Security and confidentiality on the Mac - I suspect its because I had to change the password on my Apple ID - I think that if I could the closing of the session of this identifier on the watch and log back on it would start working again - but I don't see a way to check out of a Apple ID on the watch or the watch app on the iPhone (7plus)

I guess I have unfair and then re pair the watch with the phone but that seems a little drastic, so do it before, I thought that I would like to ask a question to the community in the case where someone knows a way to check out of your Apple ID on the watch I don't know - I tried searchingGoogle but cannot find anything on this topic

This seems to be fixed by my achievement and my Apple Watch with my iPhone repair - of course I don't know if it will happen again - I suspect (and its only that) is the problem has been caused by my change the password on my Apple ID - but when I went to watch outstanding I was asked for my password Apple ID and he accepted the new password

  • Apple Watch

During the year of market my Apple Watch sometimes sounds and closes the session without asking for confirmation.  Any ideas on what goes wrong and how to fix?

A sleeve may be in contact with the screen?  Or on your skin against the digital Crown when you move the hands?

Try to lock the screen during the exercise.  Just drag to the left, after the workout began and press the lock button.

  • Apple Watch series 2 protective case

    Hello

Has anyone found a real Apple Watch S2 case? You are looking for a minimalist design, to display the watch itself without inhibiting its look, then perhaps a clear case (case bumper or other) will do.

All cases online specify that they are cases Apple Watch S2, but look further into what they are not, as many of them do not account for the new air port (hole on one side, not two) and are also not the right depth, and cutting a port speakers are designed for S1 S2 not.

You will need to protect my camera, I do use it in the gym a fair bit and worry about the damage.

    Thanks guys and girls!

    Hi RudeBwoy!

I had the same problem. As far as I can see, case or bumper for the AW 2 series do not exist. I talked to Spigen, catalyst and a couple of others and any sites third 3rd say... manufacturers confirm that their AW products are NOT compatible with series 2 Watch, and that they are working on it!

All thoughts of good screen protectors? !! They would be compatible? Some protection is better than nothing!

Let me know if you hear anything!

    Thank you
